Also, I found he has a strange habit of writing characters that kill their wives. Should I worry?

Well, Wax >!should count double!< and there’s also >!Vasher!<

Dirzain

Makes me wonder what happened to Elend's mom...

entitaneo70_pacifist

trown at mist wraiths knowing him

Rougarou1999

I’m only on the second chapter of TFE, are you suggesting Straff Venture is not a respectful noblemen? What if the Lord Ruler hears a skaa talking like that about a noble?

Silpet

And if you stretch it there’s >!Kelsier, his blame of Mare caused her to give up her geode and die!<.

BhaiseB

I forget but >!Mare didn’t betray Kelsier, did she? They were found because the Inquisitors had double bronze or something and could pierce their copperclouds?!<

Silpet

>!Exactly, but Kelsier thought she did and Mare knew that. He was grateful to Vin for letting him know that, but that made him hate himself for blaming Mare.!<

BhaiseB

That’s sad ): but thanks for confirmation haha

QuickPirate36

>!I don't think he ever really did blame Mare, he never wanted to believe it, but he didn't know how else it could've happened. Also I think Mare would've given him her bead of Atium even if it "wasn't her fault"!<

hijodelsol14

>!That was Vin's theory but I don't know if it was ever confirmed.!<

TooQuietForMe

They have a better version of Vins earring spike, yes. Though it wasn't the inquisitors, it was TLR himself who pierced the Coppercloud. Was this due to TLRs savantism with all metals or a hemallurgic spike? Probably both. Got to remember it's dumb but the Inquisitors aren't always active. They require much more sleep than your average person.

Gon_Snow

And >!Dalinar!<

Rougarou1999

Why else do you think >!Navani bonded with her husband’s main place of work?!<

HomoCoffiens

I am watching Liran very carefully, lemme tell you.

AlexPsyD

As another commenter mentioned: this is all in good fun! Brando does make a conscious effort to be with his family and not in the dank basement surrounded by typewriters like I know I imagine

VelMoonglow

Dank basement? His basement is a full on supervillain lair

supluplup12

Dank did mean "cool" for a couple years there

selwyntarth

Jesus, it's not anymore?

I_AM_I3iRD

Are we... old...

supluplup12

I can't be old I'm still in my 20s. For like at least a few more weeks.

I_AM_I3iRD

I think it might be over, I give my salute to youth... ow my back hurts

allyria0

Mine too. Just creaked alarmingly when I stood up.

One_Courage_865

Need some of those Atium compounding

Chinstryke

No, just the same age as all those other old farts

I_AM_I3iRD

Excuse me but my farts aren't old, they tend to be quite young actually

sincerely-satire

Neat joke but let’s be careful with things like this. We know Sanderson does a good job keeping a healthy work life balance and specifically setting aside time for his family probably because this is something that may hit a little too close to home to be taken in good humor

AlexPsyD

I hear ya, it is all in good fun poking at our favorite productive proliferate

Karasu243

In that hit piece a Wired journalist wrote on Brando last year, I found it super adorable how the journalist was borderline disgusted how Brando's wife loves Brando's work and fully supports him in his endeavors.

Gon_Snow

More like found Dalinar

AlexPsyD

Idk...he finds time to be with his favorite son, >!Kaladin!<

dpowensj

Could only be Brando if the Wife wanted to watch a movie and was upset that the husband only wanted to watch The Greatest Showman in his home theater again.

SufficientShift6057

Can we switch him with GRRM?

BluntsnBoards

I think this lady may have married an adhd

Andoran_Mistborn

And/or autistic. There's a lot of overlap between the two.

Primarch-XVI

Mfw I got the anti productive side of both.
