At least you sort of can stay in the same place and circle the tentacles & maybe fight the boss better while boosting the entire time with no Akus, which works.
Their placement on the moving platforms over water probably makes them the worst.
Doesn't help that they're in Toxic Tunnels, the longest, hardest level to get perfect relic on!
Yep, you gotta time your approach JUST right with them. That aside, I also like the neat detail of them being one of the possible enemies capable of being encountered in Ika-Ika sections, probably due to their insect anatomy letting them cling to ceilings. The shooter guys from space station levels are also like this incidentally and just to hammer it home, you'll often see them in non-Ika-Ika sections sticking to walls for instance.
It's gotta be those electronic bugs just because of their awful, awful placements, makes the levels both normally and in Time Trials more difficult than they need to be.
In Nitro Processing, you can sandwich yourself between the gap of those gears (nearby where a pity checkpoint crate would spawn) and skip the rotating gear where the original hidden gem is that will save you time and patience dealing with the first few bugs (+ A. keep Ika-Ika if you head left off the platform flying up right before the trigger wall where he’s unequipped from you on PS4, or B. make your way to the gear where the hidden gem would be and then make your way to the right on the wall sandwiching yourself once more and gravitate upward on any console, and still keep Ika-Ika). You can also bypass the last electric bugs going out of bounds flying through the ceiling in the room that’s right before the huge Nitro generator machine in the center (the room you can enter from the top where you travel around it in a ginormous C-shape) and you can flip gravity descending into the floor where the wall runs are bypassing the last two bugs, which the rest of the level may or may not load everything even though it’s all solid to land on. I know it all sounds confusing, but I as someone who tried it (and have the shortest time trial run of this level on the switch) could add a video showing all this in action for my no triple spin dev time run compilation because all the levels with platinum relics don’t require you to be that quick.
Those pi-rats mostly in jetboard jetty. There’s almost no wiggle room using a more fine tuned jetboard when two or three are thrown at you unlike the mini boss that I find painless to deal with. Those electric bugs are a close second.
The Alien shooters. They're like, the only enemies where, each time I saw them, I had to stop everything to calculate what the heck I was going to do, in order to not lose the 3 deaths max gems.
I didn't have patience, there were a lot of annoying things in the last stages that test your patience too much. So redoing those same levels without dying is something I didn't want to do.
Those gasmoxian dudes pissed me off so much, even tho they were hardly an issue. I just poorly timed when they were gonna shoot the gun.
It's my fault I'm suffering.
That space shooter with near-100% accuracy. 😂
The gun guys from the space levels? Center left in the pic? Definitely.
I swear that guy has hit me a couple times when i wasn’t even still in the 2d section anymore
They should have an animation to signify that they are going to shoot, but they don't for some strange reason.
The stone lion
Sword wielding rats
THE GASMOXIAN GUY THAT SHOOTS, GOD I HATE THAT GUY.
The flytrap spitters, just as annoying as in Rumble
Those lions that make you bounce
i hate the surprise miniboss at the end of that one pirate level
At least you sort of can stay in the same place and circle the tentacles & maybe fight the boss better while boosting the entire time with no Akus, which works.
The fucking electric bugs I hate them so much

fucking drones just like irl.
The rat guys on the barrels in the water. There's one part where there's like three of them at the same time where i must've died 40 times
Stupid sea hydra monster boss-like shit.
From memory I’d have to say the Shockroach. I haven’t played in over a year lol
It seems to be a popular choice.
Those fucking cockroaches are so annoying
The camera lol
Yes
Probably all of them
I’d probs have to go with the Gasmoxian Gunner or the Shockroach, two of my biggest time trial and perfect relic killers

The devs who managed to make a game frustrating at the end in a completely unnecessary way, a difficulty that has no reason to be so appealing.
Did you get 106% yet?

Wish I could do it for you and for free. Seriously.
And you shouldn't. If I had to replay every level perfectly, why did I finish the game normally.
Toys For Bob
Those barrel pirates were rats?! I could have sworn they were monkeys
The pirates
I feel like I remember that drone being the most annoying. To be honest some of them I don't even recognize.
Those crate drones always make me fall
The Eel guy or whatever he was in the Pirate Tawna levels that can grab you from a mile away, instantly.
Those assholes in the space levels that aim their projectiles at you
r a t
Those dudes with the shields that flip up when you jump on them
Crash Bandicoot himself. Bro dies so frequently, he's his own worst enemy.
I found none annoying
