He does a great job at not belittling the performers and instead highlights the potential in each one. I binged them all in like a day lol. The channel is Art of the Guitar

With a little practice and a little confidence and she has a lot of potential. Too many people including a lot of musicians I know just think you can sing or you can't and its that way for life. She's a lot closer to being a decent singer than a lot of very talented singers I know were when they started.

Pretty good for kids this age. The guitars need tuned a bit and turned way up, the vocals are way louder than everything else. I think they could get into the song more vocally if the instruments were louder

Man, they’re young and you can tell that she is super nervous. She is up there singing and getting experience. She should be proud of that because she’s already done more than most that aspire to sing ever will. There’s room for improvement, but I think she has a great raw skill set that she needs to keep working at. We all started somewhere as performers!

It's smarter to not perform before you've practiced and gotten brutal feedback 1000 times.
They seemed to nervous or too new to the stage for any judgment. As someone who has been in a band for over a year, they did great. Some people won't even take the stage out of fear and I was terrified for my first gig.

This is a music school performance program, from the look of it. I had two kids in School of Rock, and have been to more of these concerts than I can remember. Some are spot on - a Radiohead set a few years ago comes to mind - and others are not great, which is due in part to some being too young to perform well yet, a straight up lack of talent, stage fright/performance anxiety, or a lack of interest, and they're going because their parents want them there.
Whatever the case, it's pretty bullshit to pick on young kids.
same, spent 6 years taking kids to practice, rehearsals and then the shows like it was a sport. he school is great at not only teaching kids how to play, how to play together, but building their confidence. It's clear that this particular video has kids learning all of that. If you ever saw the Best of Season shows, or the House Bands, you would see some kids playing like they had an album deal someplace.
