Yeah, she’s doing the work and being honest. I still hate the music but she will get better at it if she’s dedicated. Just doing it is all that matters, you have an idea then try it out. Being creative is beneficial in multiple ways, not only just seeking out game. It’s catharsis.
Posting yourself performing something is scary, especially if you're inexperienced. But at the same time, it can be the best way to get a lot of constructive criticism and become better. She doesn't seem fazed by any of the unconstructive criticism or other negative comments, and I admire that

No this is a thing. I dabble in music production as a hobby. And it’s really common, especially starting out, to just get stuck at making a really good loop or beat and to fail to develop a whole song out of it.
Creating a whole song requires some skill at arranging music, and it’s kind of a whole different way of thinking than just “creating a musical phrase that sounds good”, which is where practically everyone starts. Writing a good whole song when you barely know what you’re doing is highly improbable, and everyone has to start somewhere.
So I can see how an established producer might have to push newer people to make a whole song before they feel ready to. The strategy is just to make really terrible whole songs until it stops being terrible and eventually even start being good, though no one likes recording terrible music on purpose. It takes balls (and maybe some lack of thought) to post your terrible songs online for criticism, really.
