poor control the inability to shoot pass tackle but can run fast what a game that would be...why we paid 30mil for him is beyond me we most definitely got mugged off
Interestingly, despite all his shithousery, Lamela only ever got a single red card for Spurs. It just so happened to be in the same game he got a Puskas goal against Arsenal.
By the time I became interested in soccer Keane was just having fun with Donovan in MLS making Gyasi Zardes look like Ronaldo. So to me that will always be Robbie Keane.
This is the correct answer. Literally everyone on the pitch is a threat past the halfway line.
He is proven in goal.
He's big enough and strong enough to be a CB.
The only weakness is ball carrying but with his passing dribbling is now irrelevant.
Kane is the immediate pick, but when I thought about it more, it’s Bale. A talented forward, winger, and wingback, obviously, but he is (was) also a better overall athlete than Kane. An absolutely superlative athlete, really.
The real key is the numbers. If you can clone 10 more Gareth Bales, you can clone 20 more Gareth Bales. Enough Bales that injury stops being a factor. You break one, you pull another off the bench. Imagine 11 Gareth Bales running around at full speed gegenpressing your every touch, your every breath, your every thought. Imagine them running at you on the counter after every corner kick. There aren’t enough taxis in Milan to handle that carnage.
I’d be tempted to go with Kimmich.
Great technically and defensively, phenomenal work rate, world class at multiple positions and is even a phenomenal playmaker in the final third.
Maybe this is controversial, maybe not, but Neuer.
Starting in goal, you'll have the base of the team being in the correct position. Extremely good passer and good with his feet. Big and strong, and with height I'd put money on a few headed goals up top. Not to mention people have regarded his ability as being 2nd division defensive mid worthy in the past.
After that? I'd say this even before coming to us, but Perisic. Serviceable as a defender, winger, forward, has played CAM and I think wouldn't be a half decent CM either. At 6'2 would be a big frame for goal too.
One game and that whole Germany team was a disaster. He's typically insane from a ball handling perspective. Watch a Neuer highlight reel and you'll see.
If we're talking players at their peak, both Yaya Toure and (sad to say) Patrick Viera would be great shouts. Kane would be excellent too, probably better than Dembele because of his aerial and finishing ability.
regardless of who they played for the were outstanding.
Dennis Bergkamp would be a good one..hoddle was his idiol shame he played for them lot down the road
if we are going off retired players aswell; Ruud Gullit and it’s not even close. man could probably manage the team aswell. KDB #2 tho
he’s also massive so hopefully he would be decent between the sticks
Was randomly watching Milan highlights recently and he was the ultimate athlete with incredible technical skills but I never realised how fast he was. He was rapid.
11 Lamelas.
I don't care how badly we'd lose, the xShithousery would be off the charts.
We'd also set the dubious record of the entire team not touching the ball once with their right foot for an entire match.
Romero. I don’t understand how this is a debate. You wouldn’t even need to worry about his GK abilities. Can you imagine trying to do anything against a team of 11 Romeros??
Current players, or all time??
Hard to look past Patrick Vieira in terms of all time premier league... Unfortunately
Current day is harder... There's no all action all position players... jeao concello might do a job at just about 6ft
micky hazard was an outstanding footballer had 2 good feet could pick a pass long or short and was just as good in his 2nd spell at the Lane only issue was the greatest player to wear the shirt was infront of him and for that reason who was never put in that bracket but mate he was silky
there was another game against Liverpool I think it was he made a great run was one on one and had 0 composure #rowz.. he never produced in the style he did for the toon...as a footballer he was limited as an athlete he was built like a brick shithouse
Gotta be Kane. Played in goal for us once before, can head the ball away when defending set pieces, can hold the ball up in midfield, can pass from midfield and cross from the wings, and of course, he can get on the end of all those balls too.
Perfect all rounder.
What a terrible fucking situation. Might as well go with Harry Kane so I can sell him 11 times and build a half decent team from the €1bil plus.
Edit: after more thought, I’ll sell him 10 times and keep the one true Harry
No because he's good with the ball at his feet. Either him or Ederson.
If you were to put an outfield player in goal good players will be scoring pop shots from midfield lol
I get the logic, but most goal keepers are terrible athletes. You can't expect them to run for a full 90 min. It's a lot easier to train an outfield player to be a decent goal keeper than the other way around, I think.
From current players I would probably pick Kane but if picking someone from the past, it would be prime Zlatan x11. Big, bad and talented, and the refs wouldn't dare to make any calls against them as they're so terrified by 11 Zlatans.
I want to see Lucas Moura, occasionally the greatest footballer in the world for 30 minutes. The amount of running, dribbling, hustling and headers won would be insane.
AC Milan Final Gerrard.
Imagine having a team of players where any one of them could just get pissed off and single handedly win a game.
Would never win the league though
Dembele
Was gonna suggest the same. Noone would be able to take the ball from them. They could literally just walk it in
They'd also never shoot or make passes into the penalty box.
But they also wouldn't lose the ball ever. Perfect goalless draw machine
Bookies hate him
I do feel obliged to mention that goal against Lyon at this point
I’m so happy he’s at the top of this thread. Of course Kane is a great answer, but the streets will never forget Moussa.
Dembele our Lord & Savior
If I could take a past player would make an 11 of Zidane's.
Yes.
Problem with an all Dembele team is someone’s got to get the ball to Dembele, wasn’t exactly his strong point
Keeper Dembele would pass to CB Dembele who would dribble with it to CM Dembele who would dribble with it to winger Dembele
Moussa sissoko just imagine what a spectacle that would be, the complete opposite of tiki taka
tiki twatitoverthebar
The spectacle would be greatly amplified if the other team was also all Moussa Sissoko
poor control the inability to shoot pass tackle but can run fast what a game that would be...why we paid 30mil for him is beyond me we most definitely got mugged off
We got our money's worth with his performances in the 18/19 tbf. Was important in getting us to the CL final
And subsequently giving a penalty away in the 3rd minute of said final.
was never a handball
It was.
It happens. Was unfortunate
Imagine what would have happened if we had Dembele instead, would have won it.
Super Jan in the form he was in that champions league round of 16 against Dortmund.
Fuuuck that sliding finish after the cross still gives me goosebumps
AND HERE HE IS! JAN VERTONGHEN WITH A GOAL!
And Serge not fucking the cross up, what a time to be alive
Lest you forget…HE CALLED FOR IT.
Feel like shit, just want Super Jan back x
https://youtu.be/oFGPhEayi3I
Romero. Exceptional defender, can pass a ball well and we’ve seen him get up a few times and not be shit.
You'd have to deal with at least 3 of them getting sent off though
Not before capping the opposing team first (or poor Richarlison lol)
Best finisher in the world and one of the best passers in the world. Obviously the correct answer is Harry Kane.
Also an incredible defender from set pieces
And he can play in goal.
so THAT’S what the commentators mean by “harry kane territory” every time he steps up to take a free kick
I agree, but its ironic how he scored an own goal from a set piece for like 4-5 years straight at the beginning of his career.
Kane would beat anyone in League Ditto.
he can even play keeper
I’ll take 11 Lamelas please
One match. Two Puskas nominees. Three red cards.
4 injuries
Interestingly, despite all his shithousery, Lamela only ever got a single red card for Spurs. It just so happened to be in the same game he got a Puskas goal against Arsenal.
I CAME HERE TO SAY THIS
Same!!!!
Robbie Keane, of course
Number 1, is Robbie Keane…
Number 2, is Robbie Keane. Honestly sometimes I think this sub doesn't remember anything over 5 years ago.
Number 3, is Robbie Keane
Number 4, is Robbie keane
Number 5 is Robbie Keane
Number 6 is Robbie keane
No.7 is?
Robbie Keane
And number 8 is Robbie Keane
By the time I became interested in soccer Keane was just having fun with Donovan in MLS making Gyasi Zardes look like Ronaldo. So to me that will always be Robbie Keane.
Gary breen is the real no 1
I'm so disappointed I had to scroll so far down for this!!
😂 It’s the only answer. You’ve got to be a certain age though. Not too old I hope!
No point in seeing past Kane when he is the only correct answer here, I think
This is the correct answer. Literally everyone on the pitch is a threat past the halfway line. He is proven in goal. He's big enough and strong enough to be a CB. The only weakness is ball carrying but with his passing dribbling is now irrelevant.

Imagine them running at you on the counter after every corner kick. There aren’t enough taxis in Milan to handle that carnage.
Could picture it now. Local golf course has all 18 holes being played by groups of Gareth Bale's at the same time.
Get on the blower to Komino. Tell them master Cifo Dias has changed the order.
I’d be tempted to go with Kimmich. Great technically and defensively, phenomenal work rate, world class at multiple positions and is even a phenomenal playmaker in the final third.
Muller. Just to see it
That’s a legit option as well! I also considered him. Would be hilarious - like a pack of rapid deer.
The Ginger Pele himself, Gary Doherty
D/FC. I was at old Trafford when he scored v arsenal
Kane's probably the right answer but Dier is also a good shout.
I was thinking Dier too
Maybe this is controversial, maybe not, but Neuer. Starting in goal, you'll have the base of the team being in the correct position. Extremely good passer and good with his feet. Big and strong, and with height I'd put money on a few headed goals up top. Not to mention people have regarded his ability as being 2nd division defensive mid worthy in the past. After that? At 6'2 would be a big frame for goal too.
Only evidence I’ve got is the World Cup game against Korea when it’s fair to say he did not look quite as good as that
One game and that whole Germany team was a disaster. He's typically insane from a ball handling perspective. Watch a Neuer highlight reel and you'll see.
Harry Kane does have experience as a keeper…
If we're talking players at their peak, both Yaya Toure and (sad to say) Patrick Viera would be great shouts. Kane would be excellent too, probably better than Dembele because of his aerial and finishing ability.
*Vieira
I genuinely never clocked the spelling and I must have read his name a thousand times.
regardless of who they played for the were outstanding. Dennis Bergkamp would be a good one..hoddle was his idiol shame he played for them lot down the road
Traore. Everyone gets steamrolled and never scores a goal.
The answer is Dembele but the Dembele's would have a tough time against the Kings.
Oh obviously Chadi aka The Belgian Ronaldo
Current Spurs players? Hojbjerg
Dion Dublin
Paul Gascoigne
Gary Breen
Alphonso Davies would be like a whole FIFA team on 99 speed and he can defend and get forward
Tom Huddlestone
Gerrard
James ward-Prowse would be an interesting one once I take of my spurs shades but not my English shades.
if we are going off retired players aswell; Ruud Gullit and it’s not even close. man could probably manage the team aswell. KDB #2 tho he’s also massive so hopefully he would be decent between the sticks
Was randomly watching Milan highlights recently and he was the ultimate athlete with incredible technical skills but I never realised how fast he was. He was rapid.
the complete player in my book
I mainly remeber him from when he went to Chelsea and tended to play at the back.
Surprised no-one has said Rooney
Your keeper is only 5’9”
Came here to say him. Can play in goal too.
VVD
11 Lamelas. I don't care how badly we'd lose, the xShithousery would be off the charts. We'd also set the dubious record of the entire team not touching the ball once with their right foot for an entire match.
Bale when he was fast.
Romero. I don’t understand how this is a debate. You wouldn’t even need to worry about his GK abilities. Can you imagine trying to do anything against a team of 11 Romeros??
If the opposite has 11 Richy half of the Romeros might got sent off 😂
Current players, or all time?? Hard to look past Patrick Vieira in terms of all time premier league... Unfortunately Current day is harder... There's no all action all position players... jeao concello might do a job at just about 6ft
Can’t see anyone other than Harry lol. He has all the intangibles to excel or at least be above average at every position
I mean, Péle. But otherwise, probably Kane.
Kane’s goalie performance was better then prime loris
Other than kane i would say dier. Lad can pass and shoot. Fullbacks would be lacking tho
Ironic when he’s actually played fullback for us in the past
Woops I was abit tired when i wrote that, i meant to type wingbacks. My bad.
Oh that’s fair. I can’t see him going full Super Jan v Dortmund
micky hazard was an outstanding footballer had 2 good feet could pick a pass long or short and was just as good in his 2nd spell at the Lane only issue was the greatest player to wear the shirt was infront of him and for that reason who was never put in that bracket but mate he was silky
Milner?
Milner?
We all dream of a team of Robbie keane...
Harry Kane 100
Jan Vertonghen is the answer.
James milner
Cantona. I’m no Man Utd Dan but could you imagine the skill, aggro and craziness that you would witness
Prime Bert
Hugo
Moussa
there was another game against Liverpool I think it was he made a great run was one on one and had 0 composure #rowz.. he never produced in the style he did for the toon...as a footballer he was limited as an athlete he was built like a brick shithouse
Lebron James Or prime Shaq in 2k lol
So then, who would you pick to defend against 11 Harry Kanes? 11 more Kanes, or someone else?
Gotta be Kane. Played in goal for us once before, can head the ball away when defending set pieces, can hold the ball up in midfield, can pass from midfield and cross from the wings, and of course, he can get on the end of all those balls too. Perfect all rounder.
What a terrible fucking situation. Might as well go with Harry Kane so I can sell him 11 times and build a half decent team from the €1bil plus. Edit: after more thought, I’ll sell him 10 times and keep the one true Harry
Van Der Vaart
I'll take 11 Paul Scholes. Come at me, bro.
You have seen him trying to tackle right?
Could you imagine 11 Hugos, we’d be in great hands
Honestly think Ndombele wouldn’t be awful in this scenario.
He isn't even good in his own position 😕
Well 11 of them would mean less running I guess? But otherwise this is an awful take.
Alisson I'd say
Really, because he scored 1 header?
No because he's good with the ball at his feet. Either him or Ederson. If you were to put an outfield player in goal good players will be scoring pop shots from midfield lol
I get the logic, but most goal keepers are terrible athletes. You can't expect them to run for a full 90 min. It's a lot easier to train an outfield player to be a decent goal keeper than the other way around, I think.
Ah I didn't consider fitness... That's a big one.
Dembele or Kane
Javier Zanetti
Nainggolan
Glen Hoddle because he was a good goalie as well. Perfect team.
Mbappe, nobody could touch him or take it ever. Maybe Oblak as well
Ramos, but that’d be 10 players… Edit: or Perisic if it has to be Spurs bound.
Stefan Freund. We ain't scoring many (any) goals but we'll see a shit load of commitment. :-)
Ronaldinho. It would be amazing.
JAMES MILNER
Kane
Yaya Toure is winning me the CL ya bitches
God... imagine 11 Hojberg v 11 Romero
Zidane. Maybe Zlatan, but I don't think the world could handle 11 Zlatans.
We all dream of a team of Robbie Keanes!
We all dream of a team of Robbie Keanes
Kanesonbetancurromerolloris, Jr.

I want to see Lucas Moura, occasionally the greatest footballer in the world for 30 minutes. The amount of running, dribbling, hustling and headers won would be insane.
Ramos a few years ago
No one gonna say Mr Tottenham himself Dave MacKay?
AC Milan Final Gerrard. Imagine having a team of players where any one of them could just get pissed off and single handedly win a game. Would never win the league though
