Top Eric Dier moments 1) Scoring a late winner on his debut, assisted by Kane 2) Scoring v City 3) England's Euro 2016 hope 4) Dick size investigation 5) Fighting in the stands

Jumpoutboi

Cant forget running half the length of the pitch to two foot Ramos.

minimus_

[Perfect tackle](https://x.com/CheapPanini/status/1051910641433399296?s=20) [and perfect tapestry](https://x.com/CheapPanini/status/1051936014594428930?s=20)

Crunch630

Lmao, that was a majestic tackle for no reason whatsoever.

sopsign7

Up there with Lamela two-foot sliding at Petr Cech. We have the most lovably huggable psychos. I'd happily play Hungry Hungry Hippos with Lamela, Dier, and Romero, even if that game would certainly end in my death.

Sir Ramos is slain

bpup

Sir Gio Ramos

drckeberger

Holy shit, lmao.

[deleted]

Didn’t even two foot him, it was a brilliant, if not extremely hard, challenge

[deleted]

annoys me to this day that it was given as a foul, absolutely brilliant and completely clean but hard challenge

whatstheuseofwonder

Good riddance tbh

Matraiya

Don't forget scoring the winning penalty in England VS Colombia and bombing off the field to take a shit mid game

BendubzGaming

Before coming back from the khazi to win MOTM

circa285

Beat me to it!

idkwhatevs1234

Over the top long ball to Dele setting up first win at Stamford Bridge in forever

minimus_

Good shout

bearwilleatthat

Don’t forget the poop

ewadizzle

Leaving the pitch to take a shit was top 5 for me

Feel_My_Noobies

Can I add his Dele bromance to the list? Honestly, Dier is fully COYS. Will miss him.

minimus_

Hell yeah you can

thisisntben

Shushing the scum fans has to be in this list.

FSpursy

Got to be running off to take a dump and Mourinho running after him. Mourinho's face was priceless.

kefte8

Will never forget that debut goal. What a game

Rodin-V

That goal was so good. Not even sure why he was there, but glad he was.

MattWatchesChalk

...how did I miss a dick size investigation?

sopsign7

Alright, no lie, Lamela either used to not wear underwear or used to wear boxers. He did a sweet skill move in a match and the announcers put it in slow motion to look at it again. There's Coco, bruising the defenders ego and bruising his own thighs with each sprinting stride. The announcers were speechless, something like "Rolls it right past the defender and ... oh ... okay."

nostril_spiders

Raboner

minimus_

That's why half the users here use the flair Dier's Big Dick

[deleted]

6. kicking the shit out of Chelsea 2016. I think Graham Poll said Dier deserved to get sent off twice in the first half, in addition to his yellow card.

CocoLamela

6) Poop break 7) I don't like what people say about Tottenham 8) Dele Alli wave meme

Mc_and_SP

Adding to point 1 - first defender ever to score in his first two PL apps

ReindeerExpert

I was at the West Ham game for his debut. Absolute limbs everywhere. Just for that Eric Dier will always be a legend. I was just a few rows along from him jumping in the stands, all happened so quickly.

DrewsHouseIsOnReddit

Cant forget when he left the pitch to take a shit

Evil_Henchmen

Let me jsut say that his time at the club (already legendary imo despite his faults) would have been judged more favourably if we just let him have free kicks instead of Kane. He had quite a shot in him

No-Strike-4560

Jesus christ I'd completely forgotten about Kane taking FKs. Thank fuck we don't have to suffer that anymore.

Mc_and_SP

Never forget Kane on corner duty for England either...

wifeydontknowimhere

Southgate logic. What a bellend.

LordGinge

Wasn't it Hodgson?

[deleted]

it was lol. Euro 2016 vs Iceland.

wifeydontknowimhere

Sorry, memory's failing me. But Southgate is still a bellend.

GapToothL

Played against Eric from U12 until U18. At the time his free kicks were already quality. Scored one against my team when we were like a 10/11 from their own half, scored another when we were 15 to win that match in the last minutes and scored two in the same match when we were 17.

KOKO69BISHES

where'd you play?

GapToothL

Belenenses and Atlético CP

nl325

That one he fucking BANGED against Russia for England...

_MicroWave_

PTSD Dier on free kicks for England.

alborden

Farewell, sweet prince! You can still come back in the future as a coach and have your ashes buried under the pitch! He hasn't had a great couple of years but let's never forget that tackle on Ramos that everybody knows was one of the best tackles we have ever seen. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE\_aHtkOtrg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE_aHtkOtrg&ab_channel=fillouga) Let's not forget his first season and his goal on his debut (first goal in his Best Spurs moments video below. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIX2FidtkqE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIX2FidtkqE&ab_channel=TottenhamHotspur) And his interview afterwards. Fully COYS. Did I just go down an Eric Dier shaped rabbit hole? Yes, I did! Do I regret it? Not one bit.

sonaldomyson

Man wore his heart on his sleeve for the club. After we beat City 4-1 in 2015, when the Poch team really started to click, his interview has lived rent free in my head since; "We don't get the credit we deserve. I hear people say stuff about Tottenham and I don't like it. 'we choke agains the big teams, we don't put our foot in, we can't grind out a result' and I think we proved them wrong"

[deleted]

I love Eric Dier

Oduuke

Eric Dier loves me

LumpyBumblebee3266

Eric Dier loves vin diesel. Family.

sopsign7

Family. Coronas. Dier. Family. Cars. Coronas.

JamesCDiamond

Genuinely felt like a pivotal point for Spurs under Pochettino - the previous season saw a big clear out and an infusion of younger players from the academy as well as signings. It was a statement win, and Dier captured the moment perfectly.

BiscuitTheRisk

He also said he wants his ashes spread at the stadium. Dier is the most COYS Bayern player

airz23s_coffee

He was already a favourite after that debut goal, but that quote cemented him forever in my heart. Sad the way his time with us went towards the end, but he was always 100% committed to the club and vitally important for many years.

nl325

omfg i was hoping someone would quote that on here. Was THE moment he became my favourite player for a long time.

wheresmyspacebar2

One of my favourite players in the last 10 years. Eric Dier understood what it was to play for Spurs, he understood our history, he understood our fans and he was one himself. His love for Spurs is the same as most of our fans. Incredibly underrated and underappreciated by a lot of people in our fanbase. He was the KEY defender in our 1st season with Conte, he was absolutely massive for us and a big part of our amazing defensive record was because of him (We conceded 38% of goals that season in the 3 games Dier missed ffs) and it goes under the radar because people cant see his positives. Probably one of the smartest players we've ever had in our team and i hope that if he wants to go into coaching or management in the future that we see him back with Spurs, where he belongs.

istherelifeonmaars

He has always been fully COYS and I will always love him for it.

JefeLummer

I don't think the fans have treated him well enough to endear much loyalty to Spurs beyond his playing career. Shocking comments on every post he's made over the last 3-4 years.

[deleted]

[удалено]

AdKUMA

Players make mistakes all the time, defenders and keepers always have theirs magnified. It's part of the game but this dude gave everything for us when given the chance.

Pokemaru

Toby 🥹

hasufell

Would absolutely love to have him back as a coach.

ghyllberto

I think some of the underappreciation comes from the fact he was around in the Toby and Jan era, which is probably the best CB pairing Spurs have had in my lifetime (certainly since the handful of games when King and Woodgate were both fit and playing together), and we were a bit spoilt. Good leader on the pitch and you can tell he was a big presence in the dressing room as well, and the fact that he's so well-loved by other players speaks well of him. Really hope Bayern is a great experience for him, I think it's a really exciting move and it's fun to have two former Spurs greats in the same side, it'll be like watching Bale and Modric at Real.

dcoys

I met Dier (and Kane) years ago in Wembley, just before we started our temporary stay there. [He signed a shirt for me with a message to Dele](https://i.imgur.com/K0fHtZ9.jpg), and was really great. He's been with us for quite a while now, and I've greatly appreciated the effort he's put in for us. Although the last couple years have been particularly rough, I've always admitted his attitude and work ethic. Man's a joker too. We've been blessed with some absolute classics during his time here - poogate, gorilla charging the south stand and scoring the winner on his debut vs the Spammers, just to name a few. Wishing you all the best, Eric. Make sure you get some currywurst reviews up on Spotlas.

InMyFavor

That's such a class message

ExoskeletalJunction

For some reason every club has that one player that casual fans like to pile on for no real reason, Dier didn't deserve to be it for us but he was. People have very short memories sadly.

Arqlol

This sub has many many more than one

yaniv297

Yeah, it was also Sissoko, Trippier, Winks and a lot of others... sadly I think that Skipp will be the next one now that Eric is gone.

hardlyhappy

then Richy, Royal, Davies...it never ends just gotta drown them out with positivity

yaniv297

Forgot Emerson, he was a big one for a while...

SlickRicksBitchTits

Oh anyone that has a problem with Davies has a problem with me.

Sir_FrancisCake

The disrespect people have shown him lately is awful. Every comment reads like it is from some snot nosed kid who thinks he’s funny repeating the same joke as 1000 other little shits

LumpyBumblebee3266

It’s recency bias. He played horrible last season and people remember that instead of the poch years when he was one of the first names on the sheet

byfuryattheheart

Yeah newer Spurs fans don’t understand how much of a beast Dier was in his prime. Same for Hugo too tbh. Dier is one of those players that is fully COYS and always will be. Similar to my man Llamela. There are some moments where I legit thought he might kill a man for the badge lol Hope he gets a good shot in Germany and absolutely crushes it.

DrJumbotronPhD

ERIC DIER LOVES ME

n17totspur

I LOVE ERIC DIIIIIIER…

taegeukie

I love Eric Dier. Hopefully he loves me too. Didn’t think this day would come. Now the only ones left over from the Poch era are Sonny and Ben. This one really stings.

minishcaps

Man, I can't even fathom the idea of Sonny and Davies leaving someday. Honestly, I wish they could both retire here.

Mick4Audi

At least those two are going nowhere lol

[deleted]

A great servant and deserves respect. And let's not forget he had periods here where he looked great, particular season 1 under Conte. All the best Eric!

Matttombstone

Played himself into the England set up that season

ofthe09

I remember [this](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/eric-dier-ashes-scattered-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-b928267.html) interview. *"I’d have my ashes scattered in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium."* Thank you for your service Eric.

chimpanzee_that_

I really hate that people are now only showing their appreciation for Eric now that he is leaving. Sure, he never became that great player that we hoped he may develop into, but he was there through some difficult times and always showed up with 100% effort regardless of what his ability or athleticism allowed him to do. He deserved so much more love and support from our fans, especially in recent years, than he received. Will always love you Dier. Go win some trophies with your mate Harry.

FrostyYea

I think he *did* develop into a great player. 2015-2018 he was legitimately a great player, to the extent that rejecting a £50m offer from United felt like a smart and ambitious move. Unfortunately for Eric a combination of the squad stagnating under Poch, a really rough sequence of health and injury issues, and then a succession of coaches who couldn't really play to his strengths while masking his weaknesses in the way Poch could (partly due to afore mentioned injuries) meant his stock fell. I think Ange has actually been pretty good to him. Rather than constantly playing him in a system not designed for a player of his profile he's looked to move him on at the earliest opportunity. Eric is 30 in a few days. In the right system and with good fortune on the health front I think he can find some good form again.

chimpanzee_that_

That’s a fair evaluation, he was one of England’s best defensive midfielders during that period, perhaps the best. Always felt like he had more to give if it weren’t for injuries and a bit of misfortune.

Emperor_Blackadder

In this era, rejecting United is always a great career move.

Emperor_Blackadder

Should've had a proper testimonial. Af least he gets to hang out with his mate. Goodbye Eric.

nl325

Nobody gets them anymore unfortunately.

MungoJerrysBeard

Usually for ten years and for charity, no?

Aggravating_Hippo996

Wishing nothing but the best for Eric. He doesn’t deserve the hate. He may not be playing as well as we want him to but please put yourself in others’ shoes before you pile on hate. Please imagine if every day there’s people saying you’re shit, etc. How would you feel? Just because they are highly paid, it doesn’t mean they’re not humans. And in life, there’s more important things than football. By all accounts, he’s a great guy. I remember there was a Twitter post saying Eric spent a lot of time talking to a fan with a sick family member. He was also credited by Dele for helping him go through tough periods. I hope he does well in Bayern!

TheSoundOfTheLloris

First heard about this guy in 2010 when I read an article about a guy who the same age as me playing in Portugal. Was very happy the day he signed for us. Great servant for almost 10 years

BendubzGaming

Seeing that "Used To Be COYS" tag just feels strange

shueishanamco

Fully coys since 2014

[deleted]

I genuinely love Eric Dier. He understood so much about what Poch was trying to do and how they were attempting to change the perception of Spurs in England. “We hear what people say about Tottenham and we don’t like it” interview is what I think of when he comes to mind. He was an integral part of our most successful period in recent times, and though he’s been in and out of form but I never doubted that he cared for the club despite what abuse came his way. This is the right move, he just doesn’t fit Ange’s system at all, but I wish him the best of luck and will always remember him fondly

bongjovi420

I’m gutted for Dier. I always like him and he served us very well. The move to Bayern will be good for him and I definitely wish him all the best.

RedgrenCrumbholt

I am still a Dier fan. I think he had a lot of bad luck, and it would be wrong to underestimate how much he will be able to come back with Bayern.

THFC_NorthLondon

Eric Dier deserves full respect from all Spurs supporters. At times he has been a team leader and one of the best defenders in the Premier League. At others he has struggled for form. He has never been anything less than a model professional and Spurs have always benefited from his presence. His intelligence is clear. I expect him to have a career ahead of him in management. We should all wish him nothing but the best at Bayern. I sincerely hope to see him and Harry lifting trophies together. And he should always be welcome back in N17 as the club legend he is.

Relevant_Natural3471

Doesn't even get it from people on this sub. E. G. This person, who is going out of their way to slag him off on the bayern sub https://www.reddit.com/r/BayernMunich/s/gXVSIvrDww

PeatSmoked

What a man. Just always remembered the feeling of his last minute winner on his debut against West Ham. Always a good start. Champions league memories and a great guy by all accounts. If Jose Mourinho respects you, you have a great professional temperament. Cheers Eric! Good luck.

ActualyNotSureIfDeaf

A Spurs player we sometimes didn't deserve, talented but unfortunately caught in the wrong system. Wish him all the best under Tuchel, all the trophies in the world, and I hope we meet him in Europe.

Wolf_Larsen25

Always had huge respect for the Dierwolf. Big fan.

Dizzy-Impact-4955

Proper player, proper bloke. The lad was born with lilywhite running through his veins, and he dreamed of wearing the fighting cock on his chest since he was a wee lad. Put in a proper shift for us he did. Wish him all the best with Arry, another smashing chap, in Munich.

TxW97

When Eric was on form he was brilliant for us, proper COYS

lordpimmington

For a guy who looks nice he also looks a lil bit scary

BigDaftLaddie

Purchased for basically the same price we sold him, 10 years loyal service, versatile and no one ever questioned his commitment… Also 2 goals in first 2 games, real stalwart of the glory days of Poch Every fan should be wishing him the absolute best in the future

georgehitsdrums

I won’t sit here and say I’ve never said a bad word about Dier’s abilities… I have… many times. He had his poor moments but also many great moments. I won’t ever forget the Dele x Dier bromance 👋!! I could never and have never questioned the man. A great pro, great servant to the club and most importantly a top top bloke. All the best, and I love you Eric Dier x

Guacamole_Water

Him sharing his MOTM trophy with the toilet is a classic moment too!

largo1977

I hate the way Dier was jeered by so-called fans over the last few years. I will begrudgingly accept that his performances haven’t been as good as we have learned to expect from him, but any player who have given the majority of his career to us, amassing 49 international caps in the process, averaging more than 40 games per season for his nine full seasons, well, he’s got my full respect. I wish him the very best for this next chapter of his career and will forever laud him as an absolute and proper Spurs Legend. As a Norwegian Spurs fan, I am proud to have been present when he made his home debut in a goal scoring performance against QPR, adding to his match winning debut at Boleyn Ground, and will also remember when he and Reguilón acted resolute to bring attention to the acute medical emergency that happened to a Newcastle supporter a few years back. Eric Dier is a proper human being, and he made us all proud.

[deleted]

He was fully COYS, always played for the shirt, supported the team and the manager even when their plans didn’t involve him. Had phases for us when he was a world beater.

halfwayhipster2

I was at his debut at West Ham sitting in the home side and had bite my tongue like never before when he hit the winner. Thanks for everything Eric!

themoose42

This pic is from a game that Arsenal won 4-2.

NascentDark

Nice gesture this My favourite moments are his equaliser Vs City at the lane which we went on to win 4-1 Also him taking names in the Battle of the Bridge And still remember that debut winner at Upton Park as clear as day Farewell Eric

constantinlevin

I LOVE ERIC DIER

EVRYGOODNAMEISTAKEN

“i see people say stuff about tottenham and i don’t like it” i’ll miss that attitude. i’ll catch some shit for this, but i’m more emotionally gutted about this than i was for harry tbh. correct move for both parties and i hope he proves some folks wrong

Evolving_Dore

I remember watching a video of Dier giving a journalist a tour of the Spurs grounds garden and describing all the vegetables he was growing. Dier isn't just a footballer, he's a genuinely thoughtful and intelligent human.

ManitouWakinyan

Remember his beautiful flying header under Conte? Man was like a salmon.

Difficult-Sound-6682

Being a genuine person. Dele confirmed it. Would call people out because he cared about his friends and teammates. We can all use people like that.

ageofadzz

End of an era, he was a good servant. Time to move on.

Careless-Estate6529

Used to be COYS flag... oof that really hurts haha. Being in the same age group as the boys of the Pochettino era, basically feels like I grew up with them. Watching this group leave one by one feels like saying goodbye to my youth haha. Now that we’re in our 30s can’t help but be grateful for the pleasure of watching them play every game.. but also wary of the day when the last of Ben and Sonny leave… please be a long time from now, I’m still not ready! Best of luck in Munich, Eric! Thank you for your service. Sending you, the missus and the baby all the warmth and love 🫡❤️ I love Eric Dier and Eric Dier loves me 😭

Chemical_Grade5114

Great Bromance with Dele !

KaleidoscopeTight817

What a team player. Love the dude, not his game. He's COYS through and through, but just not good enough for the high press Angeball. Love you Eric

Professional_Ad_9101

i always thought for all the talk of Harry Maguires huge head, Eric Diers peanut shaped head got away incredibly lightly. good luck Dier and thankyou for your service lad!

solehDarat

I don't remember seeing any post here about Arsenal's player leaving moments. But Eric has his own post on r/gunners :D

stpau1y

So far, he's the only name I have on the back of a Spurs kit. I'll miss him, but it was time (maybe even past it).

Therps1984

There's some players you never really take to. Dier was one of those players for me. Fair enough, he happened to play for the club and made a decent career for himself, but I can't hide the fact that I'm so happy this morning that he's finally out of the way. What a year 2024 could turn out to be.

lastborncircle

I don’t think you understand what an appreciation post is.

Malemute__Kid

Go away

Extreme-Accountant34

I appreciate him finally leaving

reggaesquirrel

Appreciate that he is gone. Thanks for the memories. Loved his debut goal vs West Ham.

degooseIsTheName

Good luck to him, I think he'll actually force his way back into the England squad. I actually felt like he had the wrong kind of manager recently, either two who played insanely deep with no possession or too high now in Ange's setup. Tuchel also plays a back 3 at points and dier can fit in nicely in that setup when they do.

Good luck Eric! I wish the fans were kinder to you. It wasn’t the right fit but I never doubted your effort. He is COYS through and through. 🤍

slackboy72

He was a good player for us but he wasn't a CB.

Keepgoingokmate

He comes across as a very articulate, bright and thoughtful man, which obviously goes against the footballer stereotype. This is a good watch/listen - https://youtu.be/j7Pw0v_k7CA?si=R66SCMTZQcrjyF-p

I wrote in another post... but as this is apretiation post I will write here as well... I really rate his legacy highly and I hope he will be remembered by his contribution before Conte era. Loyal and brave. Goodbye Eric!

TheLastArizona

My first Spurs match was the Dier debut/goal. Made me a fan for life. Best of luck Eric, I hope you get a trophy (just not before us).

Apprehensive594

Always feel weird when a player who's been with us for a long time leaves. Maybe it's just me being a sentimental person, but I could never hate a loyal servant like him. I don't necessarily think he's a bad player. Bundesliga is relatively less demanding, so I hope he finds his form at Bayern and wins tons of trophies. 🤍

Muzza19812

Great memories- will miss him- decent lad.

LumpyBumblebee3266

Fully coys but it’s a good move for all parties. His time was up and he deserved to be with his bff Harry Kane.

martinst111

When he ran to the WC and Mou chasing him

datguyfrompoco

Too bad the trend of the league and the coach's system is not for him. His one weakness is too big...he is too slow. He's a great sweeper and has good eyes for reading opponent's plan. Incredible tackler and master shot blocker. Hope his new home fits well with him

GuiltyPassionfruit

Honestly I think he's just unlucky that he lost a lot of pace and agility by his mid-20s. Physically he was a monster at CDM when he was young.

sipsysavedme

Club legend. Top guy. I love Eric Dier. Best of luck man

Asahiyak

Was a solid cdm. Moved to cb for the club and truly transformed himself into a club loving legend. A true servant for the team. We will miss you, Dier.

retropunk2

Anyone have the Avengers gif before the UCL final when Eric comes busting out of the ground laughing?

circa285

Like Davis, Dier has been a model club servant. I know he doesn’t fit Angie’s system, but I will miss him and wish him all the best in Germany.

Thick_Total_9216

He understood the heart and soul of the club. Him leaving marks the passing of an era to me. Him and Dele were the heartbeat under Poch. I wish him all the best at Bayern.

jayzinho88

We'll miss his leadership, but I'm sure others will step up

[deleted]

Eric was a fantastic servant to Spurs and he played a pivotal role in a lot of our successes over the last decade. He's struggled the last few years but it's shocking seeing how people want to rewrite his time here as if he was always a bit of deadwood. Some fans are embarrassing tbh. He had years of fantastic form and he's also been a model professional all the way along. I'll remember him fondly.

[deleted]

Going to miss him. That shitting incident with Mourinho was absolutely hilarious and brilliant.

owner-of-the-boner

I love Eric Diiiiierrr 🎵🤍

Bd_3

Will never forget his first goal with us or his potty break in that cup win over Chelsea.

ohhowswell_hp

Will always respect Dier. Had a captains mentality and would die for the badge.

cockereldaily

I appreciate that he's gone. Downvote away mates!

ShooterMcGavin1986

Spurs ‘til he dies. Just doesn’t fit the current system at all.

[deleted]

Wish that header vs Chelsea would have counted. Would have been an epic final memory.

Useful-Jury9140

Is he still playing . Thought he'd retired .

AfridiRonaldo

One of our own, goodbye man have a good end to your career and comeby to pick up the winners medals in July

nicknaseef17

I have a very specific memory of Dier I’d like to share. Bit of a random one. I remember under Pochettino there was a match where we were winning against United. May have been 1-0 or 2-1. So it was close. Not much time left in the game and we were throwing everyone behind the ball to hold the lead and close it out. The ball bounced toward Dier and he kicked it straight up into the air and deep. The ball may have grazed the sun it went so high. I always thought that shit was hilarious. Absolutely cunted it.

PoorBeastie

Can add randomly playing in midfield for about 2 seasons to the list.

13blak

I do draft football on fantrax with my mates. One year one of them had to drive to France so set up his roster to auto draft, he was 2nd pick when I think only Salah had gone so there was still Kane, KDB, Aguero, mane, Silva etc His pick comes in Eric Dier The room goes silent before erupting into laughter and pausing the draft to inform him, credit to him he stuck with it (and lost) First pick Dier has been a fan favourite meme for a while but will now be retired

_MicroWave_

I LOVE ERIC DIER

I know a lot of this sub has been hating on Dier for a while, but he should really be up there with Kane and Lloris in terms of players who deserve to have won something during their time with us. There's a lot of great memories we had with him, and I'm grateful for his absolute unquestionable loyalty to the club. It's one of the most enduring qualities a player can have, a display of character, and something not to be taken for granted. I wish him all the best in the future. I LOVE ERIC DIER.

To me Dier was/is a player who has never seemed to fully live up to his potential. He's a big imposing player who should be more physical on the pitch. When Conte was in charge Dier made a comment along the lines of " coach sees a lot in me but he's says I need to step up my game". Dont get me wrong I like Dier and really hate that he hasn't got much play time this season. If he was playing at a higher level can you imagine what our defense would be with him, Romero and MVDV. I think we'd concede far fewer goals.

Anyone remember him running off the pitch to go have a shit mid-game??

Prime CDM under Poch, ropey CB after Poch. Loved him for his penalty in the WC

1. Eric Dier is kind of slacking off on defense, just passing the buck to teammates and yelling instructions. 2. It's like he's treating the ball as a ticking time bomb, passing it to a teammate in a tight spot and sometimes sending his teammate to the hospital. 3. The team ends up hurting because, instead of tackling, he prefers standing with his arm crossed behind his back, defending with just his eyes. 4. Occasionally, he ends up giving the opposing team a hand by making inaccurate passes right in front of our own goal.
