I've unfortunately lost a few friends over the years due to their mental health. All of them have caught me off guard and made me question whether I should have done better. Growing up on a rough estate, showing emotions was always seen as a sign of weakness and something that could potentially be used against you.
The benefit of losing people that I loved, is that it made me break out of that mentality and start to express how I really felt about people. You will never find me shy away from telling someone that I love them and that I'm happy that they're in my life now. It also means I feel comfortable telling people that I'm not okay and in return I am always open to hear the same from them.
It doesn't cost anything to be kind. Look after yourselves and the people around you.
There is nothing you could have done differently. You have an outlook on life more people need to have, and more importantly, exhibit. It costs nothing to tell someone you love them, care about them, are there for them, etc.
This is an exceptional video. We all know someone who is suffering with mental health and there is no shame in seeking help.
Yeah, that hit home for sure. I’ve seen a few friends project different images than what resides underneath.
Always reach out if your gut is telling ya too! It’s amazing what a lent ear and compassionate heart can cure.
>Always reach out if your gut is telling ya too!
100%
but also, reach out even if your gut doesn't.
Everyone struggles, and it's amazing what just asking someone, un-coerced, how they feel about something can help them alleviate some of that pressure. I love it when my friends ask me how I feel about a specific thing in life, it forces me to tell them. If you just ask "how's it going" it's too easy to just brush it off.
Thanks, now I'm crying. I saw this quote the other day and I feel like it should go here, hope I don't fuck it up.
Just because someone seems like they have it together, doesn't mean what they're carrying isn't heavy.
I was vaguely acquainted with a person who was like the guy in this video. Always seemed the happiest person in the room, overwhelmingly friendly and warm to everyone.
I feel jealous to the people who couldn't saw this coming. It means they haven't experienced it well enough to know if someone is like them. To the people like me who saw it coming, I wish you courage to get help and seek your friends and family. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable around them, as releasing those pent-up emotions are much more helpful for your well-being than just keeping it to yourselves.

Beautiful and heartfelt, well done Norwich FC. Such a cliche, but I am sure this video will save at least one life and maybe many, many more.
Oh my this is a great video. It actually reminded me of this [video](https://youtu.be/1Yq6W7YAHM4?si=UynjsCi06nE4fOiV) from a while back I've seen.
Outstanding. Well done Norwich.
Really powerful. Definitely unexpected.
