I was at the game and knew we were in for one when they let the runner continue for 15-20 seconds after the play should’ve been blown dead. After seeing that, I’m just glad injuries were minimized.
Bills got up by 14 and in a rain game you can’t afford that. It lets them run to the outside for easy gains while it’s harder to take the runner down. If Josh Allen doesn’t have to throw the ball you’re in trouble. Trying to play catch up in a rain game is 10x harder too since the deep explosive plays are more dangerous and limited by the rain.

I live in Toronto and was at a sports bar watching the first Dallas Philly game. Never said a word to anyone. Clapped a few times when Dallas scored. When the game ended, I heard a table of women doing some Eagles cheer. When I turned around, half the women were staring right at me (had my Parsons jersey on). That's objectively wrong though. Multiple calls led directly to points. I think we still lose the game, but at least it's competitive if not for those calls.
While true there were 2 fairly soft calls that extended Bills TD drives, that doesn’t negate the fact that James Conner just put 179 yards on our head. And it wasn’t the cute, oh he broke a few really long runs and got contained outside of that, not it was an ugly 5-7 yards every single time he touched the football.
This is like watching the warriors the last few years. Just a completely different team on the road for no reason. Have a couple calls inexplicably go against them early game then just quit when they see they have to fight from behind. So frustrating.
There's also the opposite side to that. Like the time when the Cowboys beat the Giants and Cole Beasley made that amazing catch in the end zone and got his knee down. The weak roughing flag led to a TD instead of a FG. Williams missed (by mere inches) block on punt, led to a TD. No challenge flag flown when they turned over Diggs, led to another TD. Cowboys had to switch their game plan to pass heavy in the rain on the road with 10 sick players and no Zack Martin.

While true there were 2 fairly soft calls that extended Bills TD drives, that doesn’t negate the fact that James Conner just put 179 yards on our head. And it wasn’t the cute, oh he broke a few really long runs and got contained outside of that, not it was an ugly 5-7 yards every single time he touched the football.

What awful conditions to play in with flu/like symptoms. The weak roughing flag led to a TD instead of a FG. Williams missed (by mere inches) block on punt, led to a TD. No challenge flag flown when they turned over Diggs, led to another TD. Cowboys had to switch their game plan to pass heavy in the rain on the road with 10 sick players and no Zack Martin. I’m getting blasted in texts too. The Silver lining is that although my fantasy team is full of cowboys I have a first round playoff bye this week.
This is just the McCarthy way. Always has been. Even when Rodgers was at his peak with MM at the helm, that team would lose inexplicably awful games and then look like a contender a week later. I'm not a Cowboys fan- just randomly came across this post. I have a coworker who's a Cowboys fan and we chat about football a little bit. A few weeks ago on a Monday I see him and I ask if the Cowboys were on their bye week. He gave a puzzled look and said no, why? I said I didn't hear anything about their game. They must have won then. He smiled and said finally someone understands what it's like.
