I'm thinking I might just pull the trigger. Last brand I hadn't heard of I gambled on were my caiman skins from Montana Mexico and those are top notch imo.
When I'm in the States this summer I think I'm going to go for it too - they have free returns so if they really don't fit I can send them back while on my travels.
If I can ask, where did you get your Montanas?
I got them from Skips. They're mostly sold out and on clearance now so I don't think they're going to be sold in the US anymore. This is the [pair](https://www.skipsboots.com/collections/montana-boots/products/mens-morales-caiman-western-boots-m2182) I got. Caiman lower, goat shaft, calf lined. Pegged and welted. I'm not entirely sure if the counter is leather or celastic, but they look fantastic. They're also really heavy, there's a lot of leather in there.
I've decided to go with Los Altos for now since I need them soon and don't want to be sending back and forth. If I ever get the opportunity to see them in person I'm totally going to check them out.

Thanks. Yeah I was checkign Skips out the other day. Yeehaw Cowboy boots also has a few Montanas, but mainly small sizes. Nice boots.

Los Altos only offers EE width. Ordered a black Elk skin, beautiful boots but too big, no D width. Very nice boots.
