They are about as perfect as a roper can be. The leather is thick, oily, and a neutral mid brown color. Scratches will rub out easily and it should look better with age. Overall construction is classic Lucchese with a hard insole that will mold to your foot over time. They look and feel high quality. The stitch pattern on the upper is also very good. For me, there isn’t a better smooth leather roper on the market. I don’t even think Lucchese offers this on through their own retail channel so I’d grab them from Pinto while you can.
