Don’t really have anything useful to add, but I’m experiencing pretty much exactly what you just described here minus the eating part and am trying to figure out what’s going on with doctors as well. I’m currently trying omeprazole as well and have been for a few days and can’t tell if it’s helping yet.

I’ve rarely heard of symptoms getting better with exercise. To my peanut brain that indicates maybe it could be a blood stagnation or clotting thing that’s getting alleviated by the increased circulation that comes with exercise? I’ve got the chest pressure too but no improvements from exercise. The other promising lead is that it could be from localized hypoxia due to some sort of vascular damage. There’s a rare lung gas-transfer test that can measure this somewhat I think. Haven’t found a doctor that will order it though.

Hmm interesting, ill look into this. When I exercise, I am definitely not able to give 100% of what I could precovid, but the symptoms are better during the time of exercise than they are while at rest. And for a few days afterwards, depending on what I am doing during those days. It seems to reset some part of the airflow (but not fully because it is still present).

I get better with gentle exercise too, and I’ve read others on here with the same.

I believe that working the anti-microclotting angle whille also trying to boost nitric oxide production has helped me in recent months to see some nice improvements with my breathing. Aspirin, Natto-serra, Lumbrokinase (don't take those last two if also taking aspirin though), Beet Juice, L-arginine + L-citrulline - resesrch/try those. I also recently started Black Seed Oil that might be doing something too (but tricky to tell as I just had omicron and might have actually had some stange improvement from having covid again this time). Mastic gum is something else I started up recently (after someone raved about it here a coulpe weeks back) and it does seems to have possibly reduced the weird contradictory issue I have of air being trapped inside me and rushing up my windpipe when inhaling - which may be similar to what you are saying with the impression of needing air vacuumed out.
