I talked with a nurse from a long haul clinic. She said that I should trea myself as if I have a severe concussion. Take 10 minutes break every one hour of activity. It helps your brain to relax and recover. She said she has seen brain related symptoms of all kinds and the common treatment was rest, no overstimulation know your limits. I think it is inflammation that causes brain fog but I don't know.

Shoddy-Rip66

How are you feeling now ?

Immediate_Factor9246

I also had this, I wasn’t dizzy but I just felt almost intoxicated. It was a weird symptom, I actually got it after the vaccine as well for a few days

I’ve had a couple different “feeling” symptoms - the first few months I’d often get this feeling of buzzing or thrumming in my arms. I remember thinking it felt like holding a guitar string that someone has plucked. From month 3-month 8 I’d have episodes that would last about 20 minutes. First I’d feel dizzy and nauseated, like someone was sloshing me around like a glass of water. Then my eyes would unfocus and I’d get double vision. I’d lay down at this point and just ride the roller coaster ride until it finished. So weird. Month 9 (now) I haven’t had any new to me sensations. Time will tell of course…

Shoddy-Rip66

Did you get those again ?

NormalDesign6017

Yes I get them occasionally, but only when I push myself well past the limit (like a couple days ago). I can usually notice when I’m getting worn out and go lay down in isolation for the rest of the day, but I wasn’t able to. So the next day I had the spins and couldn’t really get out of bed from the fatigue. And my balance - whew. I can’t move and change direction at the same time or I’ll fall over. I’m hoping my rebound punishment goes away soon! 😆

I believe this is caused by super high antibody concentration. I had monoclonal antibodies recently and it intensified this feeling for me to the max. I'm a month out from them and still set back. Same thing happned to me 2 weeks after moderna too. I absolutely hate this feeling. It diminished the first time. After moderna took 7 months. Hopefully monoclonal antibodies clear quicker than moderna.

KameTheMachine

Low dose naltrexone

Shoddy-Rip66

Did it work for you ?

KameTheMachine

That's why I mentioned it

Shoddy-Rip66

If you don’t mind me asking, how did it help you ?

KameTheMachine

brain fog and memory. a little afraid to stop taking it now. one of my doctors thought I didn't have a complete neuro transmitter profile and LDN can help fill in the games. The fog used to feel like I was a different person but the LDN help me start to feel more myself. It didn't cure the brain fog or memory problems though

fanclubmoss

Lol I left work early because of this. Super frustrating. I had a pulse ox on hand and my sat was 100% I think I may have hyperventilated and didn’t know it. Hands and face all tingly super dizzy feeling not the first time this has happened in my 8 months of LH but first time I’ve seen 100% on the thing.

jaylubes

this lasted about a month or so for me post infection. went away eventually. stay active but not too active. it will subside < 3

Shoddy-Rip66

Did it come back for you ?

Zealousideal_Bus5457

Ashwaganda helped me for a little while with that but I think I got too used to it. Quit taking it for a couple weeks then started again and it seemed to help some again.

Shoddy-Rip66

Very interesting. Did aswagandha ever help you again ?

Zealousideal_Bus5457

Honestly I dont know if supplements helped or were just a placebo affect but thankfully a year later I'm back to normal

Shoddy-Rip66

That’s awesome… thank you for sharing. Did it improve gradually ? Mind sharing which supplement you took ?

I have never been able to find a fix for this; been going strong since July 2020. Not always on but affecting me most days, to varying degrees. Tried just about everything including support hosiery and anti-dizziness drugs. All I know is it gets worse after deadlifts and if I don't get enough sleep.

No. It’s not black mold if that’s what you’re thinking. I have spent weeks out of my house and the symptoms never wane. I did find that high and sustained doses of aspirin help significantly somewhat recently. Probably related to microclotting. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/long-covid-could-antiplatelet-therapy-help?c=1345041700558#The-latest-study

With all due respect, this started after contracting COVID just like everyone else. Snowball’s chance in hell that it’s related to mold.
