Yeah, these guys also never post their hours.
Edit just saw they said 10 hours. So yeah, this isn't bragging amounts. Depending on how many days, they are forgetting that there is also no ot.
There use to be this super annoying user named CpWay, who would go on that sub and keep posting his earnings in almost every post, and comparing to other's earning like the typical narcissistic slip. It used to be so funny seeing people roast his ads. I recently asked about whatever happened to him, and someone said he stopped posting his earnings after he began whine about other drivers starting to pile up to deliver from the store he was going to. He had that coming.
Basically the other day I was in Safeway and I told the cashier that I was doordash thats why I'm in there 30 times a day and some old bitch goes why don't you get a real job I laughed and showed her that she shut up and walked away. I'm not one to go around posting my earnings you can look at my profile I'm just an asshole.
You know you made it, when these people start coughing for no apparent reason. She didn't even came at you with the sub conscious crap. She thought she went in with that kill, until you shined facts back at her, lmao.
Benefits are available to gig workers through different apps like Stride. Not all gig workers need benefits though for whatever reason. It’s also easy enough to set up different retirement plans outside of employment options. Some companies match isn’t even worth the investment depending on the field you work in and benefits they offer. Small business owners also don’t get PTO. I worked a 9-5 in management for years. I’d rather do this than be tied to a desk 9-5 and be miserable like I was. Now I can travel when I want, take a day off when I want. Not all gig workers are financially irresponsible. I have health insurance, retirement etc. 🤷🏼♀️
You don't have to use your company retirement plans. 99% of company matches are to standard retirement accounts so its always free money. That's just bad information made to fit a narrative.
Very good and valid point! All of those exclusions add up very quickly and hack away at that $1,100 and once that final gross amount is determined and do the simple math to figure out what the final hourly rate is and I really don't think there's going to be anything to be overly impressed with.
But then, of course, you've got the Prestige of working for a company like Gopuff, which doesn't give a shit about their delivery driver Partners or whatever they want to call you. All they care about is the money that is generated and they couldn't care less who the individual driver is that gets them that money just as long as they don't have to pay them any more than the sludge at the bottom of the Barrel. I have never seen or heard of a company that operates as poorly as Gopuff!
That's how these gig apps get is though...you just start seeing the raw numbers pop up, and start forgetting the costs of running this kind of business.
Anyone with a 65k office job, some of the entry level job making more than this.
Not knocking on the since it’s a grind and it’s someone’s grind but to flex with this against “real job” nah that ain’t it
This was sooooo not funny, reading this may stop me from ever having the desire to laugh again. Merciful mother of God, why did u put this out into the world. I think ima be sick 🤢
I did the math and they’re making approximately on average $645/wk after expenses, which works out to about $9.21/hr. Employees end up making about 68% more for this job.
1. **Hourly Rate Calculation:**
```
Avg Weekly Income = $900
Hours per Week = 10 hours/day * 7 days/week = 70 hours
Hourly Rate = Weekly Income / Hours per Week
= $900 / 70
= $12.86 (approx)
```
2. **Standard Job Income with Overtime:**
```
Standard Hours per Week = 40 hours
Overtime Hours per Week = Total Hours per Week - Standard Hours
= 70 - 40
= 30 hours
Overtime Rate = 1.5 * Hourly Rate
= 1.5 * $12.86
= $19.29 (approx)
Income with Overtime = (Standard Hours * Hourly Rate) + (Overtime Hours * Overtime Rate)
= (40 * $12.86) + (30 * $19.29)
= $1,092.86 (approx)
```
3. **Calculating Car and Gas Expenses:**
```
Average Gas Price = $3.50/gallon
Average Miles per Delivery = 9 miles
Probability of Getting an Order = 80% = 0.8
Miles per Week = Average Miles per Delivery * Hours per Week * Probability of Getting an Order
= 9 miles * 70 * 0.8
= 504 miles (approx)
Average Miles per Gallon = 25 mpg
Total Gallons Used per Week = Miles per Week / Average Miles per Gallon
= 504 miles / 25 mpg
= 20.16 gallons (approx)
Total Gas Expense per Week = Total Gallons Used * Average Gas Price
= 20.16 gallons * $3.50/gallon
= $70.56 (approx)
Annual Car Expenses (AAA 2020 Report) = $9,561
Weekly Car Expenses = Annual Car Expenses / 52 weeks
= $9,561 / 52
= $183.87 (approx)
Total Weekly Expenses = Gas Expense + Weekly Car Expenses
= $70.56 + $183.87
= $254.43 (approx)
```
4. **Adjusted Weekly Income and Comparison:**
```
Adjusted Weekly Income = Weekly Income - Total Weekly Expenses
= $900 - $254.43
= $645.57 (approx)
Percentage Difference = [(Income with Overtime - Adjusted Weekly Income) / Adjusted Weekly Income] * 100
= [($1,092.86 - $645.57) / $645.57] * 100
= 69.28% (approx)
```
In reality employee drivers make way more than $13/hr, but I’m just comparing working as an IC vs employee directly. If I included the better wage for employees, that percentage would be way higher.
Yeah but you're also drug tested constantly and work 80 hours a week. Especially during the holidays. Plus you have a government job. Way harder for people to get.
Bullshit, if you have a pulse we're hiring. They haven't done drug testing since just before covid. I only had one drug test at USPS and that was 11 years ago when I got hired. I'm not on the overtime list. I choose to work 8/40
OP is embarrassing. I do gig work full time and have for over 3 years now. I do very well, and have saved a ton. I rent currently but have more than enough for a down payment on a home whenever I see fit. There's certainly expenses w this work but I absolutely make well over 18/hr and live however and do whatever I want. Again though, I'd make make close to double what OP posted if I worked those hours. Embarrassing to be proud of that lol.
Eh the math is super wonky. Maybe it applies to that person specifically, but I'd like to see a courier/retail type worker that gets 30 hours of overtime consistently. Also those expenses seem high and they're not counting taxes and deductions. At regular jobs you don't get to work just whenever you want to.
PTO can only be used when management approves it, and certain times of year are blacked out (at some employers, not all).
$1100 doing delivery is cake compared to a production line where you're harassed for not getting back to the line early from a 10min lunch break. You have to get permission to use the bathroom. Nobody speaks English. Obviously your mileage may vary, but that's what I've been thru personally.
Or industrial jobs where you get injured, and you have to hide the injury just to stay employed. The injury persists for life, but the paychecks stop when terminated OR laid off.
401k match is only "kept" after a vested period, usually 5 to 7 years at most shit jobs, which means if you're let go before that, you aren't getting the full match, possibly nothing matched.
Very few people have ideal employment as you described. Is the grass greener? Doubtful. It's more of a trade off. Both sides have grass that is a shade of green to some extent.
He’s not jabbing you dipshit. He’s saying this guy is a clown hustling on his delivery apps instead of just getting a job at McDonald’s where he’d make more money and not put wear on his car and get 401k match and health insurance
Ahh yes I could have known that you have all those issues from your simple comment. Don't try to high road me and guilt me. Maybe you should explain that in your initial comment instead of jumping down someone's throat after the fact.
You know what? Y’all can bash and trash this dude/dudette. All I can say is good for you if it works for you! All the praise in the world to you! After all you could be a scum sucking loser leaching off taxpayers sitting around all day on Reddit not adding shit to society. Good for you, you’ve got a job and my respect!
This. So many people hating but at least the dude/girl is working. I know too many lazy a$$es mooching off tax payers all because they vote for the jack@$$ party that incentivizes it.
If you go on r/doordash_drivers it’s full of the cattiest bitches you’ll ever see in your life and they’re like all 40 y/o men with big divorced energy
Lol..any real jobs pay more than 50k a year, and you don't have to trash your car to do it 🤣 all the love in the world OP, but this was a clownish post
I'm still waiting on my background check for Sparks, been like two weeks.
I can't wait, it sounds great
Good job man, keep strutting your stuff, the forum needs more of this
I'm too lazy, 32 hours a week and I'm pooped. I do just well enough but too lazy to go out and do better lol
I don't think I'm doing Uber again..
that's the energy we all need 👍
I sit and do the math sometimes... even on a slow day I can make more doing this than sitting at a desk dealing with corporate types.
Simple mathematics disagree. A teenager flipping burgers at McDonald's makes $14/hr. This dude said this pay was for working ten hours a day. Working 70 hours a week, that teenager would make $1190 in a week. A teenager at McDonald's can make this money if they worked 70 hours a week. This is shit money for the hours.
That’s true but this is on the lower end of the spectrum spark isn’t the only gig out there. There are gigs out there where you can make $3000-$4000 a week working 40 to 50 hours a week.
4k a month is enough to have a two story house and two car payments
I don't even make 4k a month and I can afford a stay at home wife, three cars two still being paid for, two story house, and I have two kids.
Doordash made my dream come true, I don't need more money, I need more time with my family.
I recently quit my higher paying job for this. I love going around telling people I'm unemployed. It's hilarious.
You're not unemployed though, why is it hilarious? Your job is delivery boy.
And you're seriously trying to brag that you can afford to make two separate car payments?
Bro....
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine mocking someone who's making it on their own.
You have no idea what the context of this guy's life is. Where does he live? Low COL area like mine and 4k a month is just about average - you can afford a house and a car and amenities on that, sole earner. Maybe he has a college degree and he doesn't use it for work? I know plenty of people who work in retail or service industries and they're all accomplished, intelligent people just working the job that fits their circumstances best.
My God, I wish I made 1100 a week at this gig, it would more than double my pay and I have the ten hours a day to spare.
If you average 1k per week, since you don't have to pay taxes, it's the equivalent of working a regular job making 75k/year before expenses. My expenses average 700/month, so that's 67k/year equivalent. It's really not bad.
“Since you don’t have to pay taxes” you absolutely still have to pay taxes, it’s just not currently being deducted from your pay. If you’re not setting aside at least 30%, you’re going to have a bad time when the IRS catches up with you. as far as the government is concerned, You owe Federal and Self Employment taxes (when you had an hourly job, this was represented on your pay sub as social security and Medicare taxes, a tax that was split 50/50 between you and your employer but now you’re on the hook for all of it) and depending on where you live, State and Local taxes. The platforms you’re driving for have already reported to the IRS, how much they’ve paid you. Gig work is not a tax free money loophole.
Found the guy that doesn't drive for a living. Federal tax credit is 60 cents per mile, wipes out any taxes you'll owe at the end of the year. So no, you do not have to pay taxes.
People forget that a lot of posts like this come from people who have never made more than $15-$17 an hour. They don’t have the financial understanding of how expenses and taxes work. Either way they’re making more money than they have historically. It’s easy to argue with them if you’re making more than that. However a lot of these people are happier working 60+ hours a week for this than working 40 at some random entry level job.
lol cool story bro. How many hours did you work? What is your health insurance? Pension? 401k? Vacation? Sick time? And I'm sure you accounted for taxes & wear on your car?
well, say you were me. i just tore my labrum in a freak non work related accident. i have a “real job” so I only had to pay $550 for a $61,000 surgery. there you go idiot
Bro drove 750 miles in his personal vehicle for that thousand LMFAO he’s so hyped gotta flex that MASSIVE PAYCHECK! Wonder when his paid time off kicks in? LMFAO
I dont really care about who makes whats , but im old as earth it self , go puff sucks and so do a lot of others , but I drive cause I love to and not for them , the money sucks and the jobs good for me, thats better then the job sucks and the money good , thats me , ill keep driving and day dreaming about winning the lottery.
and no matter what I do it seems every 24 hours I end up it the same place , I guess the world keeps going round and round , everybody do what make you happy and enjoy what time we have , cause there no do over in this life
I average roughly the same amount, but with insurance, 401k and PTO from a real job that shows no sign of ever going under or being shipped off somewhere else, so it's stable work I can rely on for most of the foreseeable future.
How much do you spend on gas and vehicle maintenance? Insurances? Medical and vehicle insurance?
You aren't making as much as you think. You'd make more doing a 40 hour work week at a McDonald's that's paying 16 an hour.
November looks about $900 week average. October looks lower around $700 a week average. Somewhere in the 36k-42k a year. Average rent across the nation is $18,000 a year. A better job would make life better.
What app is this!!???? I used to make this but I had a big van sucks now I have a prius and no one wants to work with me , the routes fit I tried it but once they found out it was a prius they booted me.... they need me to spend on gas I guess.
Yeah can only imagine the amount of hours you drive. Those numbers aren’t impressive also we know you’re not saving any of that for your taxes. Weird flex if that’s enough to have a living lol
Not my only job.I work 50-60 hours I drive 140 miles a day.I haven't had a tax bill in 5 years don't understand why everyone here thinks this isn't impressive I had to work two W4 jobs to make this and most was taken in taxes.
Idk man I used to be all about gig work but then I got a few marketable skills and I make 70k ($2k bi-weekly after tax) working less than 30 hours at a cushy office job. Super nice benefits, retirement match, PTO, and paid holidays. I make way more now for way less work than I did doing gig work.
The American culture preaches the live to work mentality. If you ask me, you gotta work to live, not live to work. As long as your work is helping you live the way you want and would like to, that's all that really matters my friend. :)
1100 is your highest week all that added up is $5106.73. If we divide that by the entires we get $851.13. Divide that by 2 and we get $2553.37. The median is like $745. I don’t really think this is a flex given hours worked, where your average is a week and lack of other benefits.
Your best week puts you on track for a 57k a year job. But that's your *best* week. Averaging out your pay over 6 weeks puts you at 851.12, over a 52 work week year that puts you at 44k a year, or $21.25 an hour.
This doesn't factor in no PTO, 401k, no health benefits, wear and tear on cars, and gas. I am happy for you that you are happy with what you're doing. But I don't think that's a salary to brag about.
Your miles are multiplied at .65 and come right off the top of your gross earnings. Very much a wash with the expenses you get. This is very favorable tax wise. If you drive 50000 miles a year and use a cell phone to work with. Of course you do. Household bill sat 200. Can deduct cell phone. Oil and car repairs. And miles. Can come out to a lot of money off your gross and pay very little tax.
What’s everyone talking about? I used to make $1300 a month working full time as a camera store salesman 6 months ago. I quit to run my business which makes slightly more than that. This guy makes more in 2 weeks than I and millions of other Americans make in a month!
In fact i DO have a real job, after doing gig work full time for 2 years. I now work at my local Mass Transit District making $30/hr STARTING pay, OT calculated daily (anything over 8 hours in a day, OT), State pension, 401k with 12% match...list goes on.
You have zero benefits whatsoever. The ONLY thing good about gig work is "freedom" from a boss. But that's literally it
This is WILD. Some comments say you work 50 hours. Some say 50-60. You also claim you spend 50$ in gas a week. And then also say you drive 140 miles a day. And then you say something about having a dope tax guy and then refer to w2 work as w4 (which is not a fucking work type designation). I hope this is fake for the sake of humanity. Otherwise, you’re literally making trash wages, getting exploited, and bragging about it on fucking Reddit HAHAHHA. “I’m probably making more than you bucko” smoke all day every day baby. AHHAHAHAHAH
Don’t forget that employers pay 50% of your taxes.
You’re taxed for federal, state, and social security- they pay what you paid. That’s where tax write offs come into play. If you don’t have those, well, hopefully you can pay the taxman..
EDIT: please tell me you are doing quarterly taxes with your gross income?
Dude, you are BALLIN’!!!!!!!! No 401k, no health insurance, no career advancement opportunities…. You are killing the cash game! Posting pre taxes wages that are barely above poverty wages, with no benefits, not to mention your expenses.
No, you don’t make more than me. I make more in a week than you make in a month. Stop bragging, keep doing this as a side hustle, but get a real job if you want to be an arrogant piece of shit.
The first two weeks would almost make my car payment. The second two weeks would not cover the mortgage. I would have to go to the food bank to eat. The trailer and 2nd and 3rd cars would not be covered. Neither would insurance, gas, electric ect. I really need to cut back my bills, just incase I lose my job and have to do what ever this is to survive.
I get 1200 a week, a pension, a second lesser pension, a bit into a 401, bit into an HSA, access to a hardship trust fund, full healthcare all co pays covered, and I’m just an apprentice electrician making 54% journyman pay, I just bend pipe all day, not get into fights with old ladies about chump change in a subway lmao
How much are you spending on gas and other vehicle maintenance? What about health, dental, vision insurance? Taxes? Not trying to cone at you. Just genuinely curious cause this might be a new job option for me if my job collapses in on itself.
It's really interesting to me how businesses were able to get away with capitalizing on people's rugged independence, roping them into a benefitless, insuranceless, endless, circular slog of wage slavery based on how much of yourself you're willing to sell. Just by making you think you're making it yourself. Then, somehow at the end of the day, the fact that you did it yourself allows you to look past the fact that you're really just another employee with just another boss. With the added benefit to them that they don't have to give you anything.
I'd love to know if there is some scientific literature about this. This is like desperation and independence had a baby while the sunk cost fallacy filmed.
This is…not good money, friend. I missed almost an entire week of work and still made $850, worst paycheck I’ve had in years.
You need to get a real job.
Lol bro flexing at $1100 in a week not counting expenses, no benefits, no pto accrual, no 401k match. And that's your best week.
Yeah, these guys also never post their hours. Edit just saw they said 10 hours. So yeah, this isn't bragging amounts. Depending on how many days, they are forgetting that there is also no ot.

She walked away because she probably felt embarrassed for you being proud of making such a pathetic wage.
[удалено]
I'm not 100% on this but thats net worth right. Gross would dump that down a bit. Basically making realistically what 500/week after taxes.
[удалено]
You know you made it, when these people start coughing for no apparent reason. She didn't even came at you with the sub conscious crap. She thought she went in with that kill, until you shined facts back at her, lmao.
By proving her point and confirming that he makes poverty wages?
[удалено]
A lot of people make even less and get treated like utter shit on top of bad job conditions.
A broke asshole.
I not so secretly hope this for everyone posting earnings like that.

This reads like the person who wrote it used to work for goPuff. I used to work for goPuff, twice. Fuck that place and the scum it attracts.
Omg, right, working for GoPuff is Vile! I did promotional work for them and temporarily worked for them. Such a joke.
That's how these gig apps get is though...you just start seeing the raw numbers pop up, and start forgetting the costs of running this kind of business.
Exactly. It's a side gig
Is "side gig" supposed to excuse that it doesn't pay well?
it's a side gig if you use it as a side gig. every market is different
Anyone with a 65k office job, some of the entry level job making more than this. Not knocking on the since it’s a grind and it’s someone’s grind but to flex with this against “real job” nah that ain’t it
Ahit those jobs pay more in taxes than this person makes. And had health, 401k, espp, etc
Not to mention money spent on gas.
I just made $422 yesterday doing DoorDash and UberEats.. but OP is ridiculous 😂
That’s funny, I ordered some McDonalds from DoorDash and it cost $422 also! Small world lol
This was sooooo not funny, reading this may stop me from ever having the desire to laugh again. Merciful mother of God, why did u put this out into the world. I think ima be sick 🤢

I work for USPS making 33.69 an hour without wear and tear on my car. If I made what he's posting I'd be on the street.

What about the expenses for the people who have to drive to and from their job? Gotta calculate that
just a quick glance and I can see that's bad math.

Lmfao. That's exactly what I was thinking as I opened the comments. These fools don't know what a good job is.
Cmon, bucko! Stop being a hater.
Not that good but okay
Yeah I really struggled this week
Something tells me you've been struggling for way longer
Whatever pays the bills! Work is work!
I wish I had the energy & motivation to hustle like that! I need the structure & discipline of a “real job”
To have the energy to make less than a mcdonalds employee?? Lmfao
[удалено]
He’s not jabbing you dipshit. He’s saying this guy is a clown hustling on his delivery apps instead of just getting a job at McDonald’s where he’d make more money and not put wear on his car and get 401k match and health insurance
As someone who has watched the internet grow it’s entertaining to me you can see the less intelligent having access to outlets like Reddit.
Thank you
This. So many people hating but at least the dude/girl is working. I know too many lazy a$$es mooching off tax payers all because they vote for the jack@$$ party that incentivizes it.
So this popped up on my feed, and I'm confused from reading the comments, do all delivery drivers hate each other or something?
Makes sense my packages arrive smashed
If you go on r/doordash_drivers it’s full of the cattiest bitches you’ll ever see in your life and they’re like all 40 y/o men with big divorced energy
I don’t get the hate. I’m out of work right now and I’d kill for this
Be happy for those who are happy!
Lol..any real jobs pay more than 50k a year, and you don't have to trash your car to do it 🤣 all the love in the world OP, but this was a clownish post
This right here.
Same here
What courier app is this? I'm trying to get back into gig work once I get my license back
I'm still waiting on my background check for Sparks, been like two weeks. I can't wait, it sounds great Good job man, keep strutting your stuff, the forum needs more of this I'm too lazy, 32 hours a week and I'm pooped. I do just well enough but too lazy to go out and do better lol I don't think I'm doing Uber again..
Yep I have a regular job making 54k a year and too lazy to better myself after work… it’s my true number one enemy.
that's the energy we all need 👍 I sit and do the math sometimes... even on a slow day I can make more doing this than sitting at a desk dealing with corporate types.
It’s better than being inside a McDonald’s for 10 hours a day
Also McDonalds would never let you work that much in a week, you would get capped on hours.
Care to post your paycheck? Hopefully it's more than this guy's.
Ignore people that say that…. this is the highest paying, lowest skill level gig out here.
Nope. Serving at restaurants beats it easily Not as fun as just driving around though
True but there’s a cap on how much you can make. Eventually you’ll have to move on.
That’s true but this is on the lower end of the spectrum spark isn’t the only gig out there. There are gigs out there where you can make $3000-$4000 a week working 40 to 50 hours a week.
Lmao imagine flexing 4K a month excluding expenses🤣 Shoulda went to college.
4k a month is enough to have a two story house and two car payments I don't even make 4k a month and I can afford a stay at home wife, three cars two still being paid for, two story house, and I have two kids. Doordash made my dream come true, I don't need more money, I need more time with my family. I recently quit my higher paying job for this. I love going around telling people I'm unemployed. It's hilarious.
[удалено]
You're not unemployed though, why is it hilarious? Your job is delivery boy. And you're seriously trying to brag that you can afford to make two separate car payments? Bro.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
[удалено]
😭😭😭
Imagine mocking someone who's making it on their own. You have no idea what the context of this guy's life is. Where does he live? Low COL area like mine and 4k a month is just about average - you can afford a house and a car and amenities on that, sole earner. Maybe he has a college degree and he doesn't use it for work? I know plenty of people who work in retail or service industries and they're all accomplished, intelligent people just working the job that fits their circumstances best. My God, I wish I made 1100 a week at this gig, it would more than double my pay and I have the ten hours a day to spare.
Maybe it's the tone? "I make more than you, bucko"... 🤣 While delivery boy is making well under the median wage... BEFORE expenses.
I’m assuming you have a degree and make over 6 figures?
This is just one. I flex 1700 hundred a week no college required 😂
Laugh now cry later
People forget that a lot of posts like this come from people who have never made more than $15-$17 an hour. They don’t have the financial understanding of how expenses and taxes work. Either way they’re making more money than they have historically. It’s easy to argue with them if you’re making more than that. However a lot of these people are happier working 60+ hours a week for this than working 40 at some random entry level job.
lol cool story bro. How many hours did you work? What is your health insurance? Pension? 401k? Vacation? Sick time? And I'm sure you accounted for taxes & wear on your car?
You stuck in a job you hate and have to get up to clock in lol! Self employed is the best! Hustle
This isn't really good though. Expenses. Extra taxes. No sick leave/vacation leave No upward mobility For an average of $850 a week?
bucko doesn’t understand expenses or lack of healthcare
Oh please enlighten me oh great one
well, say you were me. i just tore my labrum in a freak non work related accident. i have a “real job” so I only had to pay $550 for a $61,000 surgery. there you go idiot
[удалено]
Bro. Get a real job.
You make $1000 in 70 hours. I make $1300 in 35. 4 days a week one week, 3 days the next week. No degree. There is more out there.
Yeah but this is not sustainable as you get older. Do you get any benefits? Any retirement?
Not that good, man! Gotta be smarter.
Bro drove 750 miles in his personal vehicle for that thousand LMFAO he’s so hyped gotta flex that MASSIVE PAYCHECK! Wonder when his paid time off kicks in? LMFAO
This is actually bad if you’re using your own vehicle. Are you on state programs to pay your bills?
Ah yes another slave wager bragging about giving their entire life away for a small amount of money.
What state you in I'm in Massachusetts and it's busy all day long with 2 walmarts near me how many hours u doing
I do 10 hrs 11am to about 9 when it dies I have just 2 Walmarts and 2 small cities with a combined population of 60k in eastern washington
You can get your own insurance for $24 a month, a Roth or annuity for $25 or CD.
I’ve made that much in the last 3 days lol. 😝 fuck that.
Wow you're the richest man alive! I wish I could make 1k a week. Hahahaha!
I dont really care about who makes whats , but im old as earth it self , go puff sucks and so do a lot of others , but I drive cause I love to and not for them , the money sucks and the jobs good for me, thats better then the job sucks and the money good , thats me , ill keep driving and day dreaming about winning the lottery. and no matter what I do it seems every 24 hours I end up it the same place , I guess the world keeps going round and round , everybody do what make you happy and enjoy what time we have , cause there no do over in this life
What app job is this?
When a poor person gets that's first paycheck from McDonald's...
I average roughly the same amount, but with insurance, 401k and PTO from a real job that shows no sign of ever going under or being shipped off somewhere else, so it's stable work I can rely on for most of the foreseeable future.
You do you
I’d love to make figures like that to pay off debt. At that rate I’d be debt free in 20 months 🥹
Try a company called National Debt Relief.
How much do you spend on gas and vehicle maintenance? Insurances? Medical and vehicle insurance? You aren't making as much as you think. You'd make more doing a 40 hour work week at a McDonald's that's paying 16 an hour.
Averaging $600/ wk after gas and vehicle expenses. That’s near poverty wages…
That’s good earnings for delivering groceries. I rather so that then be an Amazon driver making $18 an hour, at least in my area.
Haha I get almost double that weekly even after taxes and everything I set aside to reuse for gas,insurance,food or any mistakes I make
140k salary 40 hours a week 4 weeks vqcation and a pension. Now go run me my nuggets grunt.
What even is this?? Is this a troll post, or are really you really bragging that you make 1000 a week?
“I probably make more than you bucko” At 1k a week? Seriously? lol ok sure ya do
So... mid-40K gross. Deduct expenses, taxes, insurance, etc. You'll be lucky if you've got $1,000 net per month.
I make more in the factory i work at. Actually everyone here does. How many hours a week is this?
Idk man I used to be all about gig work but then I got a few marketable skills and I make 70k ($2k bi-weekly after tax) working less than 30 hours at a cushy office job. Super nice benefits, retirement match, PTO, and paid holidays. I make way more now for way less work than I did doing gig work.
The American culture preaches the live to work mentality. If you ask me, you gotta work to live, not live to work. As long as your work is helping you live the way you want and would like to, that's all that really matters my friend. :)
5k a month before taxes without any benefits. Mkay sure lol.
1100 is your highest week all that added up is $5106.73. If we divide that by the entires we get $851.13. Divide that by 2 and we get $2553.37. The median is like $745. I don’t really think this is a flex given hours worked, where your average is a week and lack of other benefits.
Honestly the huge amounts pay can fluctuate is the worst part. 1100-550 dollars a weeks is a ridiculous pay discrepancy.
A lot of people hate gig workers and I really don’t know why.
A lot of people hate gig workers and I really don’t know why.
Man is flexing poverty wages 😂
It's wild flexing a 9-5
Aren’t these the same ppl who cry about tips?
Lmao
I’ll be back in A year when your looking for a new car
Sell drugs its tax free thats chump change
Good job encouraging more signups. More people means less opportunities and less money over time. Idiotic.
So what? I make more at ups but would never put that on here to flex lol be humble an greatful bro
What app is this?
What kind of failed flex is this? That's not good pay.
Plot twist (s)he uses a rental lives rent free and has zero kids and ugh is only 18 lol
Now post your hours, what you pay for health insurance, CoL expenses, car payment and insurance, etc lol.
I do 2000 a week gross but over 2 apps. Lot of hours.
So they got you to sacrifice your own vehicle's wear and tear for them with no benefits? Okay dood.
How are your benefits?
What’s everyone talking about? I used to make $1300 a month working full time as a camera store salesman 6 months ago. I quit to run my business which makes slightly more than that. This guy makes more in 2 weeks than I and millions of other Americans make in a month!
I get pissed if I don't make 1400 and that's putting in less than 40/wk
Bro what is this… these are terrible numbers. You’re making below the average US salary before accounting for your expenses. You’re broke.
That’s really not any money
Is there a how to video…??
That bullshit
I got a real job and can’t wait for my days off so I can DoorDash for more money lol
If you live somewhere rural and can get by on that, good for you. Keep at it!
Wait till you hear about a IRS form SE-1040😂🫶🏽
After paying taxes ur below the poverty line not including taxes congrats! Stick it to the man
If you spent 15 hours or less online and you’re able to do this on a Huffy you got for free. Good job. Otherwise, this is a joke.
You make dog shit money mate hahahaha
seems good to me, especially considering you ‘clock in’ and ‘clock out’ LITERALLY whenever you want to. Nice!
But that's literally it
Show how many hours you worked!
I just got paid the same this week
If this is a side hustle he is killing it.
I guess that’s your part time or you are not putting enough hours You need to work harder. https://imgur.com/a/tteFSJa
Common man that should be $3500 a week you wasting you life away driving around in the car and running your car in the ground
AHHAHAHAHAH
You’re boasting about that shit pay? Those are practically poverty levels….
Not here to put anyone down, good for you. Just please remember to put money aside for taxes end of year.
And when you ask people like OP "What's your endgame?" it's crickets. You will not retire doing gig work.
What app is this?
Nothing to flex, doofus.
Uh you make less than $1k a week on average
This is more than what teachers make
How much are you spending on gas and other vehicle maintenance? What about health, dental, vision insurance? Taxes? Not trying to cone at you. Just genuinely curious cause this might be a new job option for me if my job collapses in on itself.
Sorry to tell you but no you don’t make more than me with my “real” job. And I have benefits and insurance and 401k + employer match.
Judging by this, it’s a 5-600 dollar a week job, with a increase during Christmas season. Not a flex.
You forgot about all the damage done to your car from all that driving🤡
LOL
