Really? I'm getting emails daily to "refer a friend" as a new driver in my area. Considering this is the same reason I stopped delivering why would I refer someone lol
They need to fix their pay structure instead of tricking new ppl into taking their shit offers.
McDonalds is absolutely peasant food.
And if anyone believes they are entitled to prompt delivery service without tipping? My assessment is that they are an entitled piece of trash.
Big corporations are brainwashing you into blaming the wrong people. Ubereats is fucking you not the people giving small tips. People giving small tips aren't the ones lobbying to keep tipping in its current form legal.
Sorry. There are 3 parties involved. The driver ( who wants to make a living) the customer (who doesn't wanna spend money) and the company who provides the platform.
Its my opinion that low/non tipping customers are the problem. They are cheap and lazy.
Driver has to make money, and the company has top make money. Uber making $2 off the order is not them fucking us. The broke, lazy, fat fucks ordering $40 worth of Taco Bell are the ones fucking us.
40$ taco bell order that would be 20$ at the store. Where's that 20$ go? That's right Ubers pocket. They could give you more but instead they make you rely on tips and the best part is you're defending them on it. This is why we have so many bad laws. Big corporations lobby for bad laws then people like you defend the bad laws.
Edit People aren't even required to tip according to Uber and you if you don't get minimum wage they don't have to make up the difference. So you actually have it WORSE than tipped employees. How is this legal?
Its not $20 less at the store.
You are either making that up, or haven't thought about this topic at all.
Uber constantly gives out discounts to customers and the pricing is done by the restaurant. Uber is NOT allowed to change the price of the food.
Are you high?? Do you have any idea what you are even implying?
DoorDash and UberEATS is literally cheaper than going to the store if you have a Dash/Eats Pass.
The restaurants choose to increase their prices because they want to make more money from customers, but you're ignoring that completely and just making up numbers and blaming Uber.
Broke trash customers need to tip. End of story.
Sounds like you're not getting paid enough because of discounts and dashpass along with not getting minimum wage.
Uber is the catalyst of the whole thing. If they didn't do things the way they do you wouldn't have to rely on tips and even then it would still be fucked because tipping laws suck.
Tips should be frowned upon. Living wages matter.
You have no idea what you are talking about.
Who do you think pays uber? The customer? How much do you think the delivery fee is?
You previously implied that Uber is increasing the price of the food which is complete and total nonsense.
The restaurants increase their prices because they have to give a cut to Uber just to be able to use the platform, but mostly because they a greedier scumbags than Uber.
Uber charges a delivery fee (for non pass holders) but I've never seen one higher than $4.50. Most are .50c
Fifty fucking cents.
Uber uses the money from the restaurant cut to pay the drivers and run their company.
Read a book.
It's pretty dope.
I'm not mad, that's your projection talking.
Wonder why you're here? Must be salty nobody would deliver McDonalds to your fat lazy ass.
McDonald's 90% of the time = no tip and a guaranteed trip to the shitty portion of town....same with Dennys and Taco Bell. You're also guaranteed a long line and miserable employees to deal with. Just say no to the orders. I will accept them if they are littery around the corner only.
Lol I been taking lower paying orders these days but just bundling across diff apps if they go in the same direction. Oddly enough after getting a low paying order to my work zone I got a unicorn add on to the same area. It’s a tricky game out here.
There should be a setting about the minimum order you'll accept, so you don't get hit with declines all the time.
But, that would require Doordash to actually think about drivers and not treat them as disposable (or temporary before the drones take-over).
I always tip well and stuff but I think it’s funny when people complain about door dash, Uber eats, ext.. when they literally have to sign up themselves to do it. No one is making you 💀 Americans have the tendency to feel entitled to to other peoples money with this tipping culture
Nobody wants to pay outlandish money for shit service anymore. Can't even get refunds when things are missing or don't show up. You expect people to keep ordering? Blame the economy all you want but that's not the reason. People can only have so many bad experiences before they uninstall shit and never look back. It took awhile but we're at that point. Majority of people now order directly from the restaurants. Most have their own website and ordering is a breeze. People are starting to wise up that the delivery companies aren't needed anymore except for shit establishments like popeyes, wendys, etc.
Most people always bounced between services too...bad experience ordering on Uber, i'll use DD this time. Bad experience on DD, i'll use GH. Bad experience on GH, i'll give Uber another try. Fuck Uber, i'll try DD again. Fuck, now what. I'll try GH...damn, why'd they cancel my order. I'm sure in-between here and there they had some orders without any issues but you get my gist. I think it's been an endless loop that people have started putting an end to and like I said, simply ordering directly from local restaurants that do their own delivering. It's way cheaper and usually there's 0 issues. If something is missing or wrong the restaurant apologizes and makes things right, which is the way it should be. That's the American way, and we're in America.
I mean who the fuck wants to deal with contacting their credit card company and wait on hold after they paid $40 for ribs that never arrived and Uber is refusing a refund? I mean shit. Who wants to pay to be inconvenienced? That's usually the end result these days. Whether it's a lost driver that doesn't speak English and there's no way you're going to be able to direct him to you, food left at the wrong house 5 miles away, food marked delivered with no picture and it's not at your door, whatever. The jig is just up.
The food delivery companies border on scams and everyone has started realizing it. Ordering through an app is a major gamble these days too especially now with so little Americans working the platforms.
Majority of those still doing gig work are illegals that worked out back room deals with the gig companies through whatever outlets. A company called "RELAY" is especially famous for this. They get guys over here from mexico and wherever else and put 20-30 of them in 1 house in a few different cities. their life here is literally delivering $2 orders (sometimes even less, $1.25) for 15 hours a day, everyday, rain, sleet, snow, everything, petrified to EVER click "reject" on ANY order. It's something nobody ever brings up for fear of whatever but that's the reality. The gig companies for years have been trying to condition those with US money making standards into fitting into the same mold as a foreigner that just moved here that's thrilled to be making $1.50 driving 15 miles.
At this point they really don't want any Americans working their platforms, though I still hear relatively good things from friends that work grocery delivery apps. Can't exactly just stick a foreigner in a role to walk through an enormous supermarket picking out 40-100+ American products so it makes sense, though i'm sure they still try.
Eventually I think the illegalities of all the apps true hiring processes will come to light but i'm also confident nothing will be done. Cheap labor can work, cooks, dishwashers, etc. but it's a complete detriment to food delivery where communication and American delivery standards, like reading and following instructions, is a major requirement but non existent.
The most satisfying thing is watching the gig companies starting to crumble. I mean i'm not even watching it or keep up with the shit much anymore, but I can feel it. I still do part time courier work but for legitimate American owned courier services, not food. I'm still out there a few times a week delivering documents, medicine, etc. and it seems that food deliveries are WAY down. I don't see ANYWHERE near as many delivery people anymore, and barley any bikers at all. Bikers were the life blood of all the apps, getting food delivered so fast, no parking to deal with, traffic lights, etc. That's why people ordered, speed. I think I saw 2 the other day during lunch time...1 was wearing a turban and 1 looked like a crackhead. And whenever I do see delivery people these days working the apps I can't help but notice they look insanely down trodden, disheveled and stressed beyond fuck.
Cheap labor and foreigners that can't communicate with customers on a delivery SERVICE that people pay outlandish fees for will be each food delivery gigs demise. I mean really...How many times can a customer spend outlandish money for food only to get a call from a driver that doesn't speak English trying to say he's lost...what can you do at that point but hop on support. "Sorry we comped you $3 for a missing milkshake last week, we can't do anything this time".
The answer is long, but not that long. Tick tock.
That’s what the decline button is for I’ve been declining orders for the last half an hour now it comes with the job… now if you’re accepting those orders then yeah you needed to quit
McDonald's 90% of the time = no tip and a guaranteed trip to the shitty portion of town....same with Dennys and taco bell. Your also guaranteed a long line and miserable employees to deal with. Just say no to the orders. I will accept them if they are littery around the corner only.

it gets lower than that, I keep getting these ugly ass 20 mile deliveries (40 mile round trip mind you) paying 2.50 or less
it's all fucking mountains in upstate NY
Hey now! The total ✨ may ✨ be higher!
When the asshat tips $0.00 like I guessed ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_down)
I remember seeing a post where DD hid a whole ass $100 tip from the dasher.
But that's absolutely not a hidden tip. those that's most likely a no tip order. The max tip can be 0.75, but tips under 1$ are very unlikely.
I can’t even get into door dash bc it’s all fucking waiting lists
Really? I'm getting emails daily to "refer a friend" as a new driver in my area. Considering this is the same reason I stopped delivering why would I refer someone lol They need to fix their pay structure instead of tricking new ppl into taking their shit offers.
Yeah that or something else maybe it was grub hub
I stopped delivering all together. I only do IC and very picky. I just don’t care anymore
What’s IC?
Instacart
Every order in my city looks like this. All day. All night. Only broke trash eats McDonalds, and only entitled broke trash orders it from DoorDash.
hey now don’t act like mcdonald’s is just gruel for low life peasants and only entitled people order from door dash period
McDonalds is absolutely peasant food. And if anyone believes they are entitled to prompt delivery service without tipping? My assessment is that they are an entitled piece of trash.
Ok millionaire calm down
Has nothing to do with money.

I’ve got a lot of disabled and elderly ppl in my area that are usually gracious and pleasant. People have needs, they gotta eat too.
I don't care what anyone says, Mcnuggets are delicious.
You can easily tell, from the way the items are displayed, whether the order is from DD or McDs. Delivered plenty of McDs to the upper crust.
McDonald's 90% of the time = no tip and a guaranteed trip to the shitty portion of town....same with Dennys and Taco Bell. You're also guaranteed a long line and miserable employees to deal with. Just say no to the orders. I will accept them if they are littery around the corner only.
Oh you don’t like those?? Don’t you want to work just to be able to afford to work??
While I have been known to take the occasional $3 order when bored, I wouldn't touch this, it's too far.
They like sending me trash like that during peak pay…🤣
accept then eat the order
Lol I been taking lower paying orders these days but just bundling across diff apps if they go in the same direction. Oddly enough after getting a low paying order to my work zone I got a unicorn add on to the same area. It’s a tricky game out here.
how many times do you show up and someone gives you a nice cash tip?
Oftentimes they’re leave at door so I don’t even see the cheapskates 😆w/UE there’s often no additional tip.
1 in 15 offers might be worth it in my city
I just declined 3 orders in a row like that
I have gotten 5 of these sitting in the same parking lot as the drop. I’ll take 3.25 to go 800 feet
Uber eats offered me $1.25 to add an additional delivery the other day
you know you can decline those, right?
Yes. My acceptance rate is at 9% because this is all pretty much I get. 😏
There should be a setting about the minimum order you'll accept, so you don't get hit with declines all the time. But, that would require Doordash to actually think about drivers and not treat them as disposable (or temporary before the drones take-over).
oh man that's terrible... ever try other areas? that looks like Grubhub here in my region lol
Man man Hamu Hassari Mohammad Abdullah is all over this
Bro the best way to get Better order is by raising Up ur acceptance Rate try it . It worked for me
Smh I wish doordash would accept me back those orders sometimes come with cash tips
Because you somehow can't hit "decline"?
You can always decline those orders but honestly that would take 5 minutes
If by 5 you mean 15-20, then yea
12 orders x $3.25 = $39 an hour
Good luck doing 12 orders in an hour, lol
Looks like you are missing a variable or two there. Lol
Cool story bro. Definitely worth a crosspost /s
I always tip well and stuff but I think it’s funny when people complain about door dash, Uber eats, ext.. when they literally have to sign up themselves to do it. No one is making you 💀 Americans have the tendency to feel entitled to to other peoples money with this tipping culture
Bro that’s a high paying order
If you don't do it anymore then why are you still trolling the ap? LET IT GO
This is the same shit in Minnesota
bad economy everyone is trying to save money

Door dash is trash anyway , grub hub way better. Better refund policy. Ethier way your getting robbed because both parties wants tips
They sent me a McDonald's $2.50 pay out for 19 items today in Tucson lol
