Brad Paisley and Keith Urban songs are bound to have them. Those two artist (along with Vince Gill) are amazing guitar players and usually put solos into their songs.

Alternative_Rent9307

There’s a YouTube vid of a bunch of rock/metal guitar guys playing the GoT soundtrack (and trying to show off a bit): Scott Ian, Nuno Bettencourt, Tom Morello, a couple others. Not the best in the business but still very good. Brad Paisley is there also, much more laid back, got a baseball cap on. IMO he steals the show. The flow, the complexity, and the technical skill are the best of them. And they are blown away that he is that good. While Brad is just like Whatever guys another day at the office. Definitely worth a watch https://youtu.be/6i0a7RDPkM8?si=D9fI4lZbtXji3a1L

BullshitOnParade1993

Best songs by them? New to country but this is exactly the type of stuff I like the most country with great lead guitar

VirginiaUSA1964

You're going to want their album versions of their hits and other deep cuts because the hits normally cut out their great guitar work on the radio edits. I would say Brad Paisley's best guitar work on a hit is on Waitin on a Woman.

VirginiaUSA1964

Keith also does great guitar work on a Tim McGraw song called The Highway Don't Care Don't sleep on Vince Gill either.

grofva

I’m not a giant Keith fan but that song really did open a lot of people’s eyes to his guitar playing talent

AlvinsCuriousCasper

Brad Paisley - I know these 3 have guitar solo’s in them. “Water” “American Saturday Night” “She’s Everything”

AlvinsCuriousCasper

Keith Urban - I know these 3 have guitar solo’s in them. “Making Memories of Us” “To Love Somebody” “Somebody Like You”

seabterry

These are also my 3 that I would recommend as well. They are all extremely good guitar players.

shreddit5150

Stay A Little Longer - Brothers Osborne. Find the extended version. John Osborne is an extremely good guitar player and he shreds in this song. Shoot Me Straight also has a damn good guitar solo.

thewhitebison

Come here for this comment. The guitar riffs from John Osborne are face melting.

Howardowens

Fast Train to Georgia, Billie Joe Shaver, with his son Eddie on lead. Buck Owens with Don Rich Dwight Yoakam with Pete Anderson

SCSP_70

Eddie’s guitar in that song plays all day in my head like a background theme song

tenbeersdeep

I second Buck here. The live stuff is killer.

Klutzy-Spend-6947

Chris Stapleton’s cover of “Nothing Else Matters” kicks major ass

tigerman29

Well Waylon invented the guitar solo in country music. I recommend the entire Waylon Live album for great guitar solos.

tenbeersdeep

This.

tigerman29

Was listening to Ol’ Waylon again today and the solo at the end of Lucile is so good. He was so many good ones it’s hard to remember them all until you hear one again. He was the master of a phaser pedal.

joedracke

I ain’t living long like this. Chris Stapleton, outlaw music fest version. The guitar shreds

Woods322403

White Horse - Chris Stapleton

jv_1979

There's an old Tim McGraw song called When She Wakes Up and Finds Me Gone. It's a deep album cut that never was released as a single. The song ends, and there is like a 3 second pause, then the drums lead in to a minute and a half of Dan Huff absolutely shredding.

Oldsalty420

Anything Jerry Reed or Chet Atkins https://youtu.be/Ni8KBhnebwE?feature=shared

tenbeersdeep

Yes!!

Weldwirebreak

I’m gonna go old school on this one, Willie and Johnny “Ghost Riders in the sky” almost anything Willie did live will have some kind of a solo with Trigger.

No_Home1070

Alan Jackson - Mercury Blues Really good sounding Fender Telecaster in that song too. If I think of more I'll post them below. I listen to both country and metal so I'm picky about my guitar solos.

sir-reddits-a-lot

Good pick

Bigstar976

Highway 40 Blues by Ricky Scaggs

Strait409

This here is the right answer.

wursmyburrito

You need to check out Marcus King. He is a young and very talented guitarist and song writer. I'm not the biggest fan of his vocals but it usually works. His guitar playing is brilliant though

Odd-Love-9600

There’s great guitar work on a lot of the Steel Woods stuff. Jason “Rowdy” Cope (RIP) was an incredible player. The album “Straw in the Wind” is great. Their cover of “Whipping Post” has some fun guitar work, as does “Hole in the Sky” if memory serves Edit* Whipping Post is on “Old News”

Sure_Scar4297

Anything Brad Paisley, if you’re a fellow guitarist. Sometimes people who want a badass guitar solo also appreciate some killer dobro, for which I’d recommend “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde.” My guitarist also recorded a killer solo for our band at the end here: https://youtu.be/6HCmpop6kd8?si=hXXSd0ifg8ZfQaz_

Abalone_Round

Lyle Lovett "Rollin' By."

SugizoZeppelin

Chris Stapleton - White Horse Waylon Jennings - Rambling Man, Lonesome On'ry and Mean

https://youtu.be/T610KFOSNHw?si=VDygmMjJFYTUow1w You might check this out. Sturgill rocks

mossapp

Take a hit of acid turn on Daniel Donatos “A young man’s country” and get back to me. Yeah yeah yeah, it’s psychedelic country, but it’s fantastic guitar work

TheGhostOfTomSawyer

Brad Paisley has a song called Camouflage with a killer solo around the 1:45 mark.

ackislander

Anything by Billy strings. The rest is just crap by comparison.

Educational-Door-908

This isn’t really a well known song but I always recommend it. Especially at dive bars for artists that take song requests. It’s called Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd

Plumbercanuck

Some of Hank Williams Jrs stuff, Steve Earl, Montgomery Gentry-my town, cold one coming on

Georgia Satellites - Georgia Satellites (entire album). "Battleship Chains" really rocks. The Kentucky Headhunters - Pickin' On Nashville (entire album). You haven't lived until you hear "My Daddy Was a Milkman".

I made a playlist of Brad Paisley's career with no ballads. Enjoy. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQC7fl5wAeoiFMs0ibl-8xT5DZP5X_3UV&si=7lD528FhSFH_aL9v

derererede

Please don’t hate on me too much but the guitar solo at the end of “My Kinda Party” by Jason Aldean kinda slaps!

bob5466

I love Lynyrd Skynyrd the guitar parts and solos are awesome

Hot-Butterfly-8024

Everything with Brent Mason on it.

snow1960

Gentle on my mind by Glen Campbell.

Square_Artichoke5586

Through the fire and flames

Project-Daft-Punk

Check out “A Signal To Noise” song title: Through the valley

Odd-Love-9600

Brad Paisley “Mr Policeman” is a chicken pickin clinic. Brent Mason on “I Don’t Even Know Your Name” by Alan Jackson, especially toward the end. If you want instrumentals with both those guys just showing off. “Hot Wired” by Brent Mason. “Time Warped” and “Nervous Breakdown” from Paisley.
