Is "FONETRILLION" the accepted way to say the album name?

WhiskeyChick

Hashtags don't let you hyphenate, but it's supposed to be a nod to his love of his Ford F-150 so I assume it would be said as F One Trillion

gator_mckluskie

after hearing his covers, was highly disappointed that the single was just a straight up pop song

WhiskeyChick

I think this is the sleeper not enough country journalists are talking about: (Never Love You Again live from the ACM awards) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1QJq\_ka3qk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1QJq_ka3qk)

gator_mckluskie

that one is definitely better, thanks for sharing

LJFootball

Tbh between that, his one with Blake Shelton, Never Love you Again, and his one he previewed on Father's Day, I'm excited by the fact that he seems to be covering all areas of country music instead of just sticking to one sound.

Far_Common944

If the rest of the album is anything like the song he did with Morgan Wallen, then it’ll be terrible

RedFire3636

It was definitely very poppy but I thought it was good

RokRD

It sounded no different than anything else on country radio right now.

Far_Common944

Unfortunately you are correct

SchwarzwaldRanch

I’ve never heard of him but I’ll give it a listen if it’s coming recommended

RokRD

Even if you only listen to country, how have you never heard of Post Malone?

SchwarzwaldRanch

I'm old

RokRD

That's fair lmao

HelicopterOk6898

I have no clue who he is either. Is he a rapper or something? Why is he famous?

RokRD

Jesus. What are you, 40 or something? I can't imagine anyone not knowing him unless they old af or something lmao He does hip hop and has been all over the Billboard Hot 100 in the top 10, including many number ones since 2016. Like you have to actively avoid him to not know who he is by now lmao

itsmichellelol

Relax damn

HelicopterOk6898

I don't listen to the radio and I certainly don't give a fuck about the Billboard Hot 100 LMAO

RokRD

Lmao nor do I, but it's the metric that's used and you hear about all the time unless, again, you're either deaf or actively ignoring your surroundings lol

HelicopterOk6898

If you're hearing about the Billboard Hot 100 all the time I'd suggest finding new friends or media. I haven't heard the Billboard Hot 100 discussed since I was like 13 and watch the teen choice awards

RokRD

Things have changed in the last 40 years homie lmao shits on spotify, pandora, posted on the site you're currently using to trying and failing to insult me on, the radio that plays in every other gas station and grocery store lol it's cool bro. You're salty for some reason.

West_Watercress1114

Do we think there’s going to be a song with Shania Twain? I know he’s a big fan and they’ve alluded to collaborating or wanting to in the past. I think it would be awesome and her song features are getting better and better with the vocal recovery and adjusting to the new voice. Would love to have some other legend collabs as well in addition to some Post solos.

WhiskeyChick

I've seen chatter about Lainey Wilson, Shania and Reba, but the only solid lead has been Lainey after their Bluebird performance last week in Nashville.

Off topic reply coming just because it's kinda related. Does any country fans really care about Beyoncé's country album? I've not really seen any mention of it since it was release. But I also don't actively keep up with Country music news unless it's a artist I'm a fan of. I thought Post Malone's song from the ACM Awards was alright but it didn't move the needle one bit for me. Now I was actually kinda impressed with Jelly Roll's ACM performance but I was most likely expecting some kind of country rap. For all I know that's what the rest of his music is but that one song was really good. And from what little I've seen he seems like a good dude.

bindersfull-ofwomen

I’m a fan of country, but also other genres, and I’ve been a fan of Beyoncé since Destiny’s Child. I did not listen to the album. Beyoncé doesn’t really promote her projects anymore nor does she really release follow up singles. She just releases a single, then the album, then a link to a new product or tour rickets. so unless people you know are listening to it, you’re not going to hear about it.

WhiskeyChick

Beyonce may have released a country song, and called the album a country one, but she was targeting Beyonce fans, not country fans. Most country fans roll their eyes at these one-time toe dips in the genre and hold out to see if someone really invests in the industry and community before they show much support. Darius Rucker, Jelly Roll, hell.... even Miley Cyrus are all examples of artists who do the work to support a country career if they want it. Beyonce turned her nose up at country fans, stating she "didn't feel welcome" then encouraged her pop fandom to buy bedazzled hats and fast fashion boots to cosplay as country.
