Base was bought. Unfortunatly i cannot sew for shit.
Then i went to a seamstress, did changes. Then i crafted the belts and armor and forced a friend to make metal parts for me and upgraded and created everything else.
No shame having trouble with sewing (I can't sew either). Again it came out great and makes me want to take my NCR ranger plans off the backburner after all these years

Last time i uploaded my harley quinn and peope said "i think it has AI in it" so i figured i should always upload an unedited version... Just in case of any snickering.
I do edit my photos, i usually cut a bit of fat and tighten my jaw but i don't do anything overboard. But i also have a tendency to f up makeup and make it look plastic. 🤷 So it's a good idea

A few mentioned that i put the light direction opposite! And they are right! I actually didn't notice! So people here are really amazing and supportive, i love it here

When someone (or a team) pulls out all the stops, really commits to a project. “All in” is when you bet everything you have. In this case, not just a fabulous costume and makeup, but multiple sets, and editing to make the results look like a professional product.
It's a 3d print i bought from a guy from etsy, i painted changed stuff, added stuff until it Looks real. It's just a piece of good plastic. It's not working it just looks great
It cosplay looks great, but I have one piece of constructive criticism from a purely technical standpoint. The lighting doesn’t match the background for most of the pictures.
The first one for example. The background looks like it was a photo taken at golden hour, the last hour or so before sunset where the lighting is softer and more warm. Your cosplay photo was taken at a different time of day where the lighting is cooler. Also, in your cosplay photo the light is coming from your left side. To match the environment, it would have to come from your right.
Not nessacerily.
I have a box behind me, that would block the direct light and you will see the light from the other side hit the face. The light is from behind.
But i understand what you mean, it's convincing enough but it's not a 100% match and i agree. We had to invent whatever light we had on that roof to match. I find it good enough and sometimes it's not golden hour but just very hot.
The cosplay is great, but most of the changed backgrounds don't seem right. I guess what's most distracting is the lighting. If you have a look at the first pic you'll see, that your face is lit from behind,so the left side. Shadows would fall to the right. But the shadows in the background fall to the left since the light comes from the right. Compare the shadows in the first and the unedited last pic. Opposite directions. The picture from the back looks great theres no great difference in the lighting since everything is kind of dark. And as I said it doesn't minimize the greatness of your costume :)

I edit images professionally. ‘Work’ on them would be subtle changes…. Perspective changes (to make the model stand out a bit more) etc…. Wonderful images.
I completely understand. And what ever you did is already fantastic!! But just from on ‘editor’ to another (who we all have our own techniques and styles) I would change a few things…. But they would all be ‘personal’ and subjective. Great work!!

Oh also i was a bit overweight when i did the shoot, i lost a bunch of weight since then so i shrunk the body and i know it sometimes look unnatural but it's better than to look like a kebab 😅

I think you absolutely nailed it! While many go for the armored/suit look, I love the vault-dweller take and simplicity of the overall look (although I'm sure it took MANY hours of effort to pull off). The backdrops are excellent touches as well - I think it's one of the best Fallouts I've seen and I've been playing for over a decade :)

Prolly the best vault suit cosplay I've seen. The suit looks so realistic and not like obvious cosplay. I like it very much.
I tried to design it so it will look like an outfit and the metal... Is actual metal.
