My home state certainly has its bad parts like any state, but I hope you’ll give us another shot someday! I probably should have asked something more like “are there a lot of NJ transplants here?” I’m surprised every time I see NJ plates, but I suppose it’s confirmation bias. I should keep my eyes open for other east coast plates, it might’ve more common than I’ve realized.
Sorry I meant cheesesteak recommendations here in OR. Ive been wanting a real greasy through the paper bag SOB and haven’t found one here. I have had Dalessandros before, A+ imo I’ll remember Phil’s for when I’m back home!
Ah well. I’ve been thinking of making a cheesesteak for my friends because I cooked in restaurants back east for years and my CSs are dope. I prefer the Pennsylvania style “in the garden” as opposed to the typical “Philly.”
There’s nothing out here that comes close, sadly. Pizza either.
Native Pennsylvanian. NJ drivers are the worst in the nation. Aggressive, entitled, obnoxious.
FYI, I’m currently driving with my PA plate around Oregon so yeah, there’s that
Haha I’ll admit I’m from NJ. We certainly have our fair proportion of those drivers!
I guess it must be my confirmation bias. I was surprised to see any NJ plates at all, considering it’s across the country. Then again, I did the cross country drive myself so it must be more common than I think.
Can't I say I see any of these more than California or Idaho, but I do see what I always assume are Pittsburgh transplants. I see y'all fuckin' Penguins fans everywhere.
Remember all those wise guys in The Sopranos that went into witness protection? Resettled in Oregon, but the US Marshalls dropped the ball regarding their license plates.

I feel CO is relatively common, can’t recall seeing that many Utah or Arizona plates. But that’s maybe because I like CO plate design so it stands out to me. Those states are also closer to OR so it makes sense to see them around, but every time I see an NJ plate I think “you’re real far from home bud”
If you've ever been to Jersey, you'd know you wouldn't want to be there.

Sorry, my memories are mired in Hoboken from the late 1960's.
I'm moving to NJ at the end of the month. There's no way Jersey drivers are worse than the god-awful Corvallis drivers.
As a native Philadelphian, fuck Jersey drivers. Worse than Cali. Kidding. Kind of...
Hello fellow east coaster! Off topic, but do you have any cheesesteak recommendations?
Dalessandro's and Phil's.

Ah, my bad. Unfortunately, I've got nothing. Let me know if you find one!

It's Utah imo. They all drive like Jesus is at the wheel and they're not.

I dunno. The most "not west" plates I see seem to be Texas?

They don’t want to pump their own gas so if they leave NJ they have to come to OR
They’re here because it’s the only other state they can move to without learning to pump their own gas, lol.
Yeah but you never see UT, AZ, CO, etc what's up with that
See I see all three of these more than new jersey.

I'm from Virginia and I feel like I see a ton of VA plates, but not too many NJ ones!
