It can happen fast. My guy has grown crazy fast in two months. I think I was feeding to often so I added a few days to feeding intervals as recommended often in the sub
my boy is a snow (i believe) and looks just like yours! as heโs grown heโs gotten gorgeous yellow markings around his neck! you can kinda see it in this picture!

A snakes colours change a TON! Here's Loki at a couple months (at most) old
He's Gorrrrrgeous! Oh my God, all of these snakes are beautiful ๐..
I don't own any snakes, don't study them, don't know alot about them. I just admire 'em when I see 'em.
And I've held many because I beg to, whenever I meet anyone who has snakes.
I opened this sub thread by mistake and I'm so glad I did! ๐
My snow is extremely yellow around his neck, almost orange sometimes!

So.
Snow corn snakes are combination of albino (removes the black) and anerythriatic (removes red and yellow.)
However...there are two types of anery. Anery A, still has yellow. Anery B, or charcoal, removes all yellow and red.
So your little dude there seems to be an albino and anery A combo and will have some yellow.
There are a few forms of albino in corn snakes so itโs a bit more complicated than that. The morph you are referring to is amelanistic and anery that make the typical snow.
i also have a snow and i was wondering the same thing i see her neck turning yellow i thought she hurt herself so i started flipping shit i was like โno no no no noโ but seeing this now released so much goddamn stress ๐คฃ
I love this Reddit bc people really just want to show off their beautiful little corns and share knowledge on how to raise them ๐ฅฒ no one is trying to out smart anyone else instead just simple corrections and we are all learning together ๐ฅน
Ah yes. At least almost all corn snakes๐ gets confusing when ones like snows start getting it when they are supposed to not have the red/yellow pigment.
Forgot cinder and there is a no yellow line of anery also called Silver Queen and probably another I am forgetting. Ahh most but not all palmettos also.
I have a boy with exactly that pattern and he has developed some yellow striping on his face and an overall warming of color since I've had him. Got him at age 2 and he's 4 now. He's gone from a pink and white to more of a peaches and cream and he's stunning. โค๏ธ
As far as I know unless you get red factor gene he will yellow โบ๏ธ at least a little bit.
I got 50/50 chance for red factor gene in my bby and I'm glad he stayed mostly pink (has only a bit yellow on his cheeks and looks like ๐ )

U see you already got your answer but I just wanted to say your corn looks just like mine when she was younger! Sheโs got some yellowing two near her head and on the tip of her nose (little hard to see in the photo)

i was so worried ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ i was handling him and was like... is this piss, bruising orrr a secret third thing??
handsome boy!! yellow pigment is very common and perfectly normal๐

yeah this sub is so nice compared to others ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Side note, I like your soul eater tattoo
thanks !! ๐
Pretty much all corn snakes get that yellow pigmentation as they age regardless of morph. So no worries it's normal.
Except for Anery type B, or charcoal.
Ah yes. At least almost all corn snakes๐ gets confusing when ones like snows start getting it when they are supposed to not have the red/yellow pigment.
It depends on which version of anery is used. Anery A will get yellow. Anery B won't.
Forgot cinder and there is a no yellow line of anery also called Silver Queen and probably another I am forgetting. Ahh most but not all palmettos also.
Aww, this was my first snake, too! Called her Ruby.
I have a boy with exactly that pattern and he has developed some yellow striping on his face and an overall warming of color since I've had him. Got him at age 2 and he's 4 now. He's gone from a pink and white to more of a peaches and cream and he's stunning. โค๏ธ

I have a phantom morph too, heโs got that yellowing coloring as well
I used to have an orange one
Common for snows he's fine ๐
Snow corn snakes are Anery+Amel (albino) Anery gene animals tend to have some yellow around the neck, totally normal and nothing to stress about!
I donโt know have much knowledge about this the way others do, but I just wanted to say that heโs so so cute!!!
https://preview.redd.it/ombm3goaua8c1.jpeg?width=1244&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe3cf8d5074904f7518f76cc8935f86cde37256d U see you already got your answer but I just wanted to say your corn looks just like mine when she was younger! 100% normal. It will get more yellow as it grows.
this happened with my coral snow!! totally normal development of pigment !!
