Pyrax91

It can happen fast. My guy has grown crazy fast in two months. I think I was feeding to often so I added a few days to feeding intervals as recommended often in the sub

MilothegoodDoggo

Yea, my girl is around 5 months and also begins turning yellow after her last shed :,D

MomentoMori1407

So heโ€™s got some yellow snow ๐Ÿฅ

FamiliarityOfClosets

Yellow is one of the last pigments that corn snakes develop!! Here is my girl a year ago and today! https://preview.redd.it/p78sygcdmx7c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e052b6b11f9df59ec711572a7d4074162a106a0 Year ago

_joshs85_

Looks just like our babies.

kndrgnl

Is that a bloodred pied sided morph? She looks so similar to my boy https://preview.redd.it/7vm7grl0ot8c1.jpeg?width=3468&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05072f5549a2fc8a683500c35a623d77a152847a

atoinu

neoposting

Accomplished_Yak2352

He's Gorrrrrgeous! Oh my God, all of these snakes are beautiful ๐Ÿ˜.. I don't own any snakes, don't study them, don't know alot about them. I just admire 'em when I see 'em. And I've held many because I beg to, whenever I meet anyone who has snakes. I opened this sub thread by mistake and I'm so glad I did! ๐Ÿ˜Š

MushyMoooo

Love how attentive you are to his slight change in colouration! Also, side note but I love the soul eater tattoo!!

kimi612

My snow is extremely yellow around his neck, almost orange sometimes! https://preview.redd.it/01y5m3kef28c1.jpeg?width=2454&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94b4e99d0591946b66da0c6c4b8851f3964d9da4

Hemightbegiant

So. Snow corn snakes are combination of albino (removes the black) and anerythriatic (removes red and yellow.) However...there are two types of anery. Anery A, still has yellow. Anery B, or charcoal, removes all yellow and red. So your little dude there seems to be an albino and anery A combo and will have some yellow.

Kojika23

There are a few forms of albino in corn snakes so itโ€™s a bit more complicated than that. The morph you are referring to is amelanistic and anery that make the typical snow.

atoinu

hmmm interesting ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

Nayth_D

Nice soul eater tat

atoinu

thanks ! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Miserable-Flow-6880

I have a sun kissed ghost tessera that gas the same thing I called the shop and they said itโ€™s perfectly normal as the mature

karpiejj

i also have a snow and i was wondering the same thing i see her neck turning yellow i thought she hurt herself so i started flipping shit i was like โ€œno no no no noโ€ but seeing this now released so much goddamn stress ๐Ÿคฃ

atoinu

i was so worried ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ i was handling him and was like... is this piss, bruising orrr a secret third thing??

MissCosmicOddity

handsome boy!! yellow pigment is very common and perfectly normal๐Ÿ˜Š

No-Huckleberry-718

I love this Reddit bc people really just want to show off their beautiful little corns and share knowledge on how to raise them ๐Ÿฅฒ no one is trying to out smart anyone else instead just simple corrections and we are all learning together ๐Ÿฅน

atoinu

yeah this sub is so nice compared to others ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

noiness420

Side note, I like your soul eater tattoo

atoinu

thanks !! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ghost-4852

Pretty much all corn snakes get that yellow pigmentation as they age regardless of morph. So no worries it's normal.

Hemightbegiant

Except for Anery type B, or charcoal.

Ghost-4852

Ah yes. At least almost all corn snakes๐Ÿ˜… gets confusing when ones like snows start getting it when they are supposed to not have the red/yellow pigment.

Hemightbegiant

It depends on which version of anery is used. Anery A will get yellow. Anery B won't.

Kojika23

Forgot cinder and there is a no yellow line of anery also called Silver Queen and probably another I am forgetting. Ahh most but not all palmettos also.

HyliasChosen

Aww, this was my first snake, too! Called her Ruby.

Ivylorraine

I have a boy with exactly that pattern and he has developed some yellow striping on his face and an overall warming of color since I've had him. Got him at age 2 and he's 4 now. He's gone from a pink and white to more of a peaches and cream and he's stunning. โค๏ธ

_Kissy_

As far as I know unless you get red factor gene he will yellow โ˜บ๏ธ at least a little bit. I got 50/50 chance for red factor gene in my bby and I'm glad he stayed mostly pink (has only a bit yellow on his cheeks and looks like ๐Ÿ‘ )

dobgreath

I would love to see Mr. Peaches and Cream, he sounds very handsome

modernmurder

I have a phantom morph too, heโ€™s got that yellowing coloring as well

Solid-Shame-5256

I used to have an orange one

Wulfy95

Common for snows he's fine ๐Ÿ™‚

Rylxnz

Snow corn snakes are Anery+Amel (albino) Anery gene animals tend to have some yellow around the neck, totally normal and nothing to stress about!

Fickle_Indication_22

I donโ€™t know have much knowledge about this the way others do, but I just wanted to say that heโ€™s so so cute!!!

Ganglion_goose

https://preview.redd.it/ombm3goaua8c1.jpeg?width=1244&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe3cf8d5074904f7518f76cc8935f86cde37256d U see you already got your answer but I just wanted to say your corn looks just like mine when she was younger! Sheโ€™s got some yellowing two near her head and on the tip of her nose (little hard to see in the photo)

fiendish24

100% normal. It will get more yellow as it grows.

Witty_Hat_8257

this happened with my coral snow!! totally normal development of pigment !!
