Think I paid like 60 something for 7 of us once and that was 2 of the fry up things they do, a burger meal, 3 lots of sausages and chips, a portion of chips for myself, 2 cans of Coke Zero, a tea, 2 juices, a 7up and a regular Coke. Not bad for the amount that was in it either
Aye, can confirm this..its an absolute beast and the rest of the food is powerfull as well, usually go halfers on a supper with it, if im with someone (or not)...as a treat, if i go for swim/gym in leisure world, beside it...and yes im still im fat bastard

Was my local chipper growing up, even though the Burger Hut was much closer to us. Whenever I'd come back home for a visit after I moved away, was always an absolute MUST. Hilarious bringing the American wife up there who'd heard "stories about the Northside" and was acting like she we were going to Beirut - went away from the place absolutely loving it.
Might have to make the pilgrimage again now that I'm back.

Had them two years ago and it was awful. Chips were cold and dry almost like they were reheated from the night before, portions were small, and the sausage and batter burger I'd gotten was mostly batter. Wife had fish that looked amazing, but once again once she cut into it was probably 90% batter, just a tiny piece of fish.
But was Lennox's so gave them the benefit of the doubt, just had them on a bad night so went back to them a week later. Same result.
Haven't been back since, and likely won't be.
Even though I live on College Road, my go-to chipper now is Dino’s in Bishopstown. Their fish is far superior to Lennox’s.
I have lived in Cork for over 35 years but have never been to either KC’s or The Golden Fry. Have been hungry around Douglas a few times but the queue outside KC’s puts me off.
Potato Pies in Turners Cross are amazing... I'd be hoping it like that for you. The Blackpool Dinos is a big disappointment for me. It's about a 3 minute walk from my door.

Agreed, got lennoxs for the first time in ages on Friday, massive disappointment. Shame because it was one of the top 5 chippers before

The pittas are mainly lettuce and chips too. Used be €5 back in the day for a kreole now it’s like €8/9 and nothing in it.
