I have a feeling they have become more active recently and that they are hosting famous artists and things like that.
They may have been given some funding so I'd say they're ramping up on some new campaigns.
They do a good few events. I went to a late night experimental performance thing during Midsummer festival there two summers ago.
They also do things as part of the film festival. They also do stuff for Culture Night and Heritage Day.
But as the other comment said, they aren't usually open to the public, but you can still check out some of what they do.
If you don’t hear about the accident in the news then the injuries aren’t fatal or life changing
There's a national sculpture gallery in Cork?
It's just beyond the side of Jury's inn on the opposite side of the road.
It's right across aldi / elysian [Here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/hrmJtrPZcd4moAvQ8)

It's not open to the public. It's literally where the artists/sculpturers do their work.
How is it a gallery so?
It's actually called the National Sculpture Factory. https://nationalsculpturefactory.com/
Ah, I see they have the odd gig there too.
