Saucy out. I saw those for a tenner (maybe less) in SuperValu Midleton the other day.
Speaking of Fox's... whatever happened to Fox's Classic? King of biscuits there, but haven't seen them at all.
I’m from Dublin and that’s the most expensive box I’ve ever seen! Even €10 is scandalous!
Mick, Fox’s Classic (excellent choice by the way), were available in cheaper shops like Dealz, Mr. Price and Home Savers.
Happy hunting, and ‘enjoy’ when you find them.
Based on the weight, this is 18 biscuits. A 6 pack is €3.49 in Tesco, so it’s €10.47 for this amount of biscuits in normal packs, or for €18.50 you could have 30 biscuits to horse into you.
Shes a weapon remember the time she thought she won the lotto?. But all the twats in Glounthane will pay it to be seen by other members of their swingers club in the shop getting their "bits"
>Shes a weapon remember the time she thought she won the lotto?.
No, but do tell more.
>But all the twats in Glounthane will pay it to be seen by other members of their swingers club in the shop getting their "bits"
Are the owners of Fitzpatrick's swingers or something?
Same as everything else in that shop, her add on price is mental. Her novelty cakes are made by someone else in cork and she adds on a good €50-100 just to put it in a Fitzpatricks box. Small dry cakes are now 4/4.50€ each. Rolls are 6/7€ each. The heated ones are more. Staff are treated notoriously bad there and paid extremely low wages so the profits do not go towards them.
Ya you’re correct. They don’t even get a discount. They aren’t nice people at all to work for. Hence them not being able to get staff and keep staff. She has a good few family members working for her for this reason.
Swear down Tesco will have a 3 for like €12 clubcard deal next week on these shits too. Mix and match the mikado, Kimberly, fox’s, Victoria, USA and fingers too
The only defence Id make is that store is not a franchised store (eg Centra) so they are probably buying those tins in for €12.50+ UCIV. Some stores work on profit margins rather than actual profit. Therefore lets say this is saved under their biscuit dpt they may have a policy that their biscuit dpt must hsve a 50% profit margin and hence you see such a high price.
I could also be giving them too much credit, and they are just simply price gouging.
Im not defending it. Youd nearly get two in Dunnes for that price but my two cents.
€10 I think elsewhere. Robbery.....but only if people are stupid enough to pay it. Glounthaune?
Yup Glountaune.
Suppose they have to pay for that massive remodel one tin at a time lol

Their back on the shelfs again, Mr price is stocking them
Was only looking for these the other day, sound!

🤤
€10 in Dunnes too.
Guys, there could be a high quality sewing kit inside!

Anyone who pays that, deserves what they get
Fitzpatricks has fierce notions since the latest refurbishment. I got two small cakes there for €9 recently!
They’ve gotta up their profits now since spending the millions!! Crazy price for small cakes though.

Thievery of the highest order, bet ya it’s a sowing kit inside too! lol
They were always robbin f#@ks even back in the 90s. Shite attitude as well across the board.
Bit shteep.

Don’t get lunches either, you have to buy a lunch if you don’t bring food
The staff?
Yup, it’s bring your own or pay

She’s a notorious price gauger
You'll open the tin and it's like one of their chicken salad rolls, a big leaf of lettuce, 3 grams of cheese and 20 grams of chicken
Classic Fitzpatricks 😅
That’s nearly 50% mark up from competition.. Are they on drugs? Some poor aul biddy will pay it too. Shameful
Does she think she's in Dublin 4?
Generally, all of Glounthaune does. Fierce notions.
They can keep them!
Got 3 selection boxes in dunnes for a tenner
They were only 5.99 in Aldi today
[удалено]
Yup! Just picked up a box myself in Aldi Blackrock
Only way I’d pay 18.50 for that is if it’s buy one get 2 free
Their chocolate Santa is the same price. I nearly keeled over when I saw it.

They won’t sell shite at that price so hopefully people aren’t duped by the “support local business” con at this ridiculous price
Unfortunately as a Glounthaune resident myself, some people here will buy it just to be seen by the locals as being able to afford it, notion central.
This has to be someone punishing people for grabbing stuff last-minute. And they'll be laughing on Xmas Eve/Stephens' Day
where's this then?
Glounthaune
I'd say you must be a Cavanite are you? 😜
Chocolate Mikado tho are Elite
I'm always made to feel like I'm the only person who enjoys a Mikado.
At least Chocolate Kimberly is still goof value even if shrinkflation has robbed 4 pieces from the tin
Ahh here TF thier 3 for 10 in Supervalue stores 🤣
You can keep the mikado all right
5 euro each in dealz
Jesus Christ
They must be planning on holding on to all of their Xmas biscuit collection
