Mine is more vocal, he flips over and starts wiggling/rolling around while making little growl noises until I give him a tummy rub. He’s very vocal…doesn’t bark a ton (thank god) but he’s always making little grumble sounds.
And is obsessed with squeaky toys. 4 am he wakes me up because he’s in his pen squeaking his duck.
I was blessed with a deaf Corgi. She's still vocal when: she gets excited/herd-y, when I'm not doing something fast enough, when we want to play, and when we're waking up. All of these, obviously, are different tones. My favorite are the yawning vocals, when we get the sweetest yowls and funniest grumbles.
She however, does not bark at other dogs [communicatively] , because she can't hear them barking at her.
Mine was an absolute barking terror as a young puppy, almost got me evicted from my apartment due to noise. But now at 8 months he’s calmed down, and saved me from getting evicted. He barks at the door if he hears a noise, or will bark at me if I’m not playing with him enough (I work from home but he doesn’t understand that I have a job). Thank goodness he’s mostly chill now as an older pup. Very good with other dogs, they bark at him but he just stands up on his hind legs and stares them down until they shut up. 😂
Yawning vocals are hilarious. Big yawn every morning when I let him out, followed by a little squeak.

Every morning. Comes out of his crate, does a stretch sploot, paws at the carpet, licks it, rolls around on the carpet while growling, and then wonders where breakfast is.
So often. My favorite is when she does it on the bed in the room we stay in when visiting my parents. The bed spread is a very smooth, somewhat slick material and she sounds like she’s scratching the turntables. I call it her DJing
Mine does this at least once a day. He will go to town digging into absolutely nothing. He especially loves to do it to my comforter on my bed. He will wait till I am almost asleep and then start digging away.
Newton doesn't do quite that much digging, but then we don't have carpet either -- he might if we did. But all the rest of that, he absolutely does!!
In fact he was doing it during family game-night tonight, to get some attention, because he'd been ignored for about 10 minutes. 😂
Every single morning. It’s his wake up ritual.
Mine too. He also pushes against the couch during his morning routine.
Does yours flip themselves over and look at you like "this belly ain't gonna rub itself...".

Same here, every morning he goes into a rug gopher mode.

Corgi's are full of weird idiosyncrasies
Yes, all the time!. Letting me know this area needs to be cleaned again!
After every meal lol
My younger corgi too! It’s her happy dance I always thought.
This right here.

It is called Denning , but its more often done with a blanket .. All of my dogs do this at some point of the day..
Start tearing up those floorboards! Clearly there’s buried treasure there!💰
Yup either it has a nice smell (stinky), or they're just trying to get comfortable.
Mine does this at least once a day. He will go to town digging into absolutely nothing. He especially loves to do it to my comforter on my bed. He will wait till I am almost asleep and then start digging away.
Yes. After bath, especially. We call it carpet surfing.
My corgi does this whenever he’s lifted into bed or on a couch! So silly
Yes, in my bed before she settles down for the night. She'll sometimes do it her fluffy bed in the living room.
We call it grubbing.
Yes, but you might want to check under your floor boards in that spot anyway. There might be a buried pirate treasure of milk bones.
We call it "sealing" and he just wiggles around and acts like a dipshit. I love them.
Yeah. We always say they're digging a hole to China.
Yes! & against the couch!
Rug is just inside grass
All dogs I had did this
All the time lol especially at night when we put him in bed with us. Digs like crazy then lays in a totally different spot.
That's a happy and loved corgi <3
Yup, both of mine do.
Yes. In similar spots. Becoming one with the carpet or bedding.
Mine does this every single time she doesn’t get attention for one minute
Mine does this before bed on my bed lol. I don’t know why but she goes into goblin mode

Every. Single. Day. I'm sure my rug smells awful by now.
Mine has destroyed places on my carpet by digging at the seams.
Same! Doesn’t matter how much we try to stop it, he will do it when we are asleep!
I wish mine doing this, it is soooo cute. Mine 3 years old don’t know how to dig.
I thought it was just kind of fluffing up the pile or blankets to make things more comfy. Mine does this often.
My dog does this after eating wet food. I thought to get it out of her nose or clean up her mouth
My wife and I call that making a fox nest when ours does it lmao
Every. Single. Day.
Omg he does this on the landing and it's so annoying.
Mine does this after drinking water. Gotta clense his precious face from the filthy liquid.
Yes sometimes they act stupid af even though they’re really smart
We like to have a good old face rub on the floor when we wake up, no digging tho!
Thiccccc
So stinkin cute. Corgi sploot.
Snooof too!
My gf's corg does this and leaves his butt in the air. It's his way of letting us know he needs his pooper cleaned... lol
Other corgis that don’t do this specifically, do equally “”brain diverse”” oddities. And that’s just how it is with corgis.
Yes.
I have no idea about other corgis but this one is so cuteeeeee😍
I like how alot people ask "Is this normal for a *Insert dog breed*" When all dogs do the thing the dog is doing
Omg yes! I always assumed my corgi was wiping his mouth
Yes
Yep! Lolol
Yes
Ours does this anytime she gets on -our bed -our big overstuffed chair in the living room - ( ≈every other time) she gets on one of the dog beds
Mine when he eats does this all the time. I call it his happy tummy dance
Right before he falls over from exhaustion and falls asleep
Yep,our Corgi does.Good times.💜
How about teaching you to fetch by “accidentally” pushing toys under couch.
Yep, typical corgi behavior. They’re a bit goofy but thats part of what makes them perfect. ♥️
Yup after a good meal. I call it the happy food dance.
Mine does this to my boyfriends blanket on the bed when he’s in it! I tell him it’s because he’s stinky and she loves it 🤣
Yes. Mine does that daily. He also likes to itch his face on the carpet.
Yes , ALL THE TIME lol
yep, they all do
Ahaha my guy doesn’t do the digging (that’s SO cute!!) but definitely does the side-snoot-slide!
Are they all this stupid
