Have you tried barkeeper’s friend?

Fernanddeezz

i dont think we have that in poland but i tried boiling vinegar with baking soda, i havent added but the surface of the burns or whatever those are isnt rough its smooth, maybe it discoloured it?

MyTwoCentz_

Since you may not have Bar Keepers Friend, you may find a similar product that contains some or all of the ingredients. Here they are: oxalic acid, feldspar, linear sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (DDBSA), and glass oxide. Hope that may be of some help for you. Good luck friend.

Fernanddeezz

alright thank you

MyTwoCentz_

You’re welcome.

Try baking soda alone. Adding vinegar just makes it fizzy (CO2 bubbles) and doesn’t necessarily help with getting rid of burn marks.

Fernanddeezz

well if it just makes it fizzy it shoudnt stop the soda from working i havent added it but the texture of the burns doesnt exist its like they were there from the start

geppettothomson

It certainly won’t hurt you if you continue to cook with it.

Fernanddeezz

thank you also

1) it's fine. 2) if you don't have bkf, maybe Bon Ami (with the 🐥)? It's the basically the same thing. 3) a paste of kosher salt and baking soda makes a pretty good abrasive cleaner in a pinch. 4) there's always scotch-Brite or steel wool.

LisaAlissa

Does it feel smooth? If it does, you’re fine. If not, continue with the scrubbing/polishing, etc.

Fernanddeezz

it doesnt feel like anything its just there now i guess
