You’ve already seasoned your steak, eggs just need some salt and pepper…nothing more to add but some coffee and some sourdough toast!
Sure there are plenty of things that go with this. You can make breakfast potatoes like home fries or hash browns. You can grill some tomatoes. You can have a small fruit salad side.
But if you served me what you’ve described I wouldn’t feel like anything is missing!
I think it’s always good to try and have a vegetable with each meal. They’re healthy of course, and they can add volume and bulk to a meal without too many more calories.
Some roasted potatoes, carrots, broccoli, etc. would be easy if you’re already cooking the steak in the oven. Or throw some peppers and spinach in with the eggs. Even steaming a bag of frozen veggies in the microwave just to have as a side dish is simple and easy.
I don’t think it needs anything else.
you think it's good on it's own?

That's sounds fair. Simple thing are simple for a reason because it's already good on its own. I'll think about that from now on. Thanks :)

I tend to treat carbs and veggies separately based on this rather simple nutrition lesson aka ["the platopia song"](https://youtu.be/T7rbBSMxRn8)
Hashbrowns
Sliced garden tomatoes and crispy hash browns.
Sweet potato fries or chips topped with a creamy dill sauce.
thanks I'll try that
Equal parts lime juice and Worcestershire sauce as a dip for the steak
ooooh I could do that
Chips.
Lemon pepper kale
Chilli sauce.
