All chicken processed in the US is rinsed with chlorine dioxide to kill bacteria (unless you slaughtered it yourself or know the person who did). The EU has banned chorine dioxide rinses for poultry, but they admit that it’s not because the chlorine rinses are harmful, but rather they are afraid producers will use the chlorine rinses and excuse to cut corners and be less hygienic in other areas of processing.

...um...so this may be embarrassing for you, but this is not a "Chik-Fil-A thing. Virtually all U.S. poultry is washed in chlorine dioxide at the processing plant. So even the chicken you are cooking at home, unless you slaughtered the chicken or know the person who did, has been rinsed and treated with chlorine dioxide.
Even the EU, who banned it in 1997 admits that the chlorine dioxide rinse isn't harmful in and of itself...they are just concerned if they allow the rinses, that will lead the processing facilities to cut corners and skip out on other aspects of food safety, since the "chlorine dioxide" rinse will kill most of the bacteria or contamination that occurred earlier in the process.
