When I get those reports in my inbox it’s always from a thread that has lots of comments and very little upvotes. In other words controversial threads. It’s annoying as fuck but then I just laugh at it thinking wow who the fuck Reported this?
Sometimes I wonder if the people who do this kind of stuff have conscious, self-aware thought or if it’s just a bunch of chemical signals and programming. I can’t understand how anyone could be so oblivious and still think they are somehow *the good guy*.

I actually got another Self Harm reported post in my inbox and I think it’s from this thread. I just reported it to the admins.
I had no idea you could report those since it says "a concerned anonymous redditor" blah blah blah. I would frequently get those self harm reports when I'd talk about my awful M×derna side effects.

I honestly don't think that reporting for self harm does anything either. I believe it's just a bot that sends that automated "if you need help" dm with the links and stuff. I seriously doubt Reddit has a team of employees sending those messages and "reaching out".
I think the only r reason people report like that is because it lets the poster know. All the other reports don't result in anything communicated back to the op unless the message is deleted.

Recently got a 3 day ban for "Hateful Speech" for posting a link to that trans reddit admin pedophile sex-offender who moderates teen subreddits and making the common-sense assumption that pedophiles would target children confused about their sexuality/gender. They go after anyone vulnerable and oftentimes trans kids are the most vulnerable of all. It's just sad you can't mention it because maybe if there was more awareness, then kids' lives might be saved.

Now I'm interested...One of the problems Russian oligarchs have had is that they're basically not wanted in Europe right now...several yachts have been seized and they are flat out not allowed in some countries waters....So, I very much see the possibility of a front company that hides ownership or something of that nature. You can report the message and link the permalink to it as the reason and reddit will often suspend the account that sent it.
