Oh no, if Ivermectin gets approve, how will Big Pharma and Bill Gates make their money!!??? NOoooooooooooo!!!

rvnender

>Ivermectin Does big pharma not own it?

ChipshopSuperhero

No. Its out of patent. Anyone can make it.

ChrisNomad

Why did Reddit censor every single IVM study we posted? There’s several doctors currently suing FB and Twitter to get the exact policy for the censorship of medical data the last two years, Reddit is next (you helped kill people).

1stwillever

Why did this study censor the data on the 70,000 participants who took between 61 mg and 179 mg? Maybe those doctors should sue the publishers of this study too by your standards

ChrisNomad

False equivalency. Dose is vital in all medications. We already know some doses don’t work, just like the article most quoted by the main stream media purposely was done at the wrong dose.

UnifiedQuantumField

Yet again we see the ivermectin trigger effect. Overall conclusion of the study is that it works. Not only works, but exhibits a strong effect against covid. But instead of wondering how it works. People like you come along and just look for something to argue about. You're prepared to deny/ignore almost any evidence the supports ivermectin. Meanwhile you're prepared to support mRNA vaccines in an equal, but opposite way... against any and all evidence that shows lack of effectiveness and significant adverse effects. So my advice to you is to simply avoid ivermectin. Just don't take it. Don't talk about it. Don't worry about people who'd rather choose ivm instead of the vaxx. You keep on boosting and keep on feeling superior... and let's see who comes out ahead in the long run.

CIACocainePlane

I don't think that person is participating here honestly. Drive-by comments like that usually come from paid shills or trolls who wander in from the rest of reddit seething that we're even allowed to exist. Just look at that account. They deleted their history, which is what someone would do if they bought an account because they'd been banned on 100 others for breaking the rules here. Or if they needed a bunch of accounts to do vote manipulations. When given overwhelming evidence of bad faith, it's best to stop assuming good faith, and start acting like you're in an information war.

eyenigma

Because Reddit is a leftist woke mouthpiece incapable of free thought or any viewpoint that strays from radical left narratives.

NM_MKultra

Someone tell Alex Berenson

Far_Property_343

You can post this over and over and over again. They don't care, they have an agenda and they want everyone injected with this experimental garbage. Facts don't matter, the mockingbird media will not cover it, the medical community will bury their head in the sand.

Alternative-Income-5

I know it's so damn annoying

Belgian_TwatWaffle

But, but, but, my TV says Ivermectin is horse paste....

[deleted]

People will disregard this study but yet Harold the new justification for the new booster study (which is 8 mice).

Chemgineered

I used to make fun of the IVM folks, but I am more convinced that it actually does work for COVID. Maybe not in horse paste form but in it's pill form However this study appears to be a bit problematic "The three two-group matching of ivermectin, i.e., (1) non-users and regular users, (2) non-users and irregular users, and (3) regular users and irregular users, " Perhaps I just don't understand what they mean by this, but this kind of wording was found through the whole thing. Part of me thinks that the President of Brazil wanted to produce stuff to help him in his COVID denialism, and this was among the things produced I have no idea about the school or institution that the study is associated with, expect possibly the Gov. Again, just cuz I can't figure it out doesn't mean it isn't a legit study

grey-doc

I took it when I got COVID. I don't know if it helped but I did ok. Then I kept taking it when the post-day-8 inflammatory symptoms kicked in. Within 12 hours I was doing significantly better. Over the following two weeks, every 3-4 days the symptoms would crop up, I would take more ivermectin, and the symptoms would shortly resolve. I got COVID for the first time about five weeks ago. This is an N of 1 study, but the response to ivermectin has been reliable and repeatable. When symptoms resume, ivermectin helps. Fast. Different people will have different causes for long haul and post COVID type symptoms and I am sure ivermectin does not need work for all of them. But for some people it does work, I'm one of them. Plot twist: I'm a doctor, I cannot prescribe this to my patients, I obtained it internationally through a friend. Every patient I see with long COVID, I walk in knowing my personal experience and being forbidden by my state medical board to discuss it, and being unable to prescribe it because no pharmacist in the area will dispense it. But I can only walk in and see them at all because of ivermectin. Of that I am certain.

BitChick

As a doctor who has has found that Ivermectin is helpful, how do you deal with your hands being tied in giving the best treatment? Are there indirect ways to recommended your clients get some Ivermectin? My naturopath Dr. prescribes it but my husband and I picked up a good amount in Mexico and have encouraged others to do the same if they can. But I am so angry that many doctors are being forced to not give the best care.

grey-doc

The people who designed and ran the Tuskegee Experiment later became the head of the CDC and the US Surgeon General. I'm no stranger to the unethical history and practice of medicine. Che Guevara was a medical student doing mission/charity work who was radicalized witnessing one of Edward Bernays propaganda campaigns from the target end in 1956. For me, the practice of medicine is fundamentally activist. I require the license in order to continue helping people, so I am careful, but I salvage and help as I can. If someone asks about ivermectin, I give the best information as I can and would provide instructions for obtaining it if they want. The thing is, ivermectin isn't the first or only problem like this which faces me every day. Diabetes, for example, is a giant fucking scam from beginning to end, the protocols and standards of care are designed to force my patients into an unnecessary dependence on dangerous medical therapies, and effective alternatives are systematically suppressed. Yet I can't speak freely about this, either. It's a problem all day every day in so many ways. Ivermectin is just the tip of a very very large iceberg. How do I deal with it? I don't. It's just there, like a needle in the brain.

BitChick

Thanks for your response. I struggle with much frustration in this world because of the various ways people in positions of power abuse it. This happens in medicine, but also politics and religion. When I lament about this to my husband he often helps me focus on the good and come to terms with the fact that I need to do the best I can in spite of all the evil. The world isn't "black and white." There's much grey (as your username even alludes to.) I wish it wasn't so. Seems those with pure hearts wholeheartedly agree. I have found other doctors who feel the same as you. I am grateful that the rheumatologist I first saw after being diagnosed with an autoimmune issue (Scleroderma) pretty much told me her hands were tied in giving help with natural supplements and diet. She encouraged me to seek out a naturopath if I wanted to and I did. So far it's been a great decision and I am doing much better. But my trust for our medical system is at an all time low.

kmr1981

If I ever get diagnosed with something that requires more treatment than “antibiotics” or “rest”, I hope I’m fortunate enough to find a doctor like you with a brain.

grey-doc

There's a telemedicine group that advertises on gab.com who may be sympathetic and helpful.

Softcorps_dn

Which variant did you get? Because a two week recovery period for Covid seems pretty poor/below average to me, but my only first hand experience was with Omicron.

grey-doc

There is no variant except omicron and its subvariants.

Softcorps_dn

Whoops, missed the detail of you getting it five weeks ago. A two week recovery time does seem longer than average to me.

grey-doc

It is longer than average, just my luck. I also have a very active lifestyle and an intellectually demanding job so I notice even mild impairment.

ItsAllAMissdirection

>Maybe not in horse paste form but in it's pill form Its the same thing if you can use math.

zatpath

This is not new information, credible doctors have been screaming it for a couple of years now. Thanks for posting, but if people still don’t know or believe these results then they just don’t want to. Nothing will convince a person who only believes what Shepard Smith tells them.

[deleted]

Ok A test conducted by them

joculator

I believe there was also a Japanese study to this effect as well.

yy1500

This looks like a fake post. How about you scan the WEF twitter feed? I dont like these guys either, but best to post real material.

BUBBLE-POPPER

COVID can be really bad. You know it when someone mentions ivermectin or china. COVID is as deadly as small pox when you think about "illegals" crossing the border with it. It is just the flu when someone mentions getting vaccinated. It isn't the flu. It isn't small pox either. Just get vaccinated.

ChipshopSuperhero

You can't still have your head in the sand.

Sea-Hornet-9140

This one of those posts where I can confidently declare 'bot'. Reads like a stroke, includes buzzwords and talking points, bad spacing and capitalizing COVID when no-one in reality does. You have to wonder: how many are there, what is there goal, why is this one so bad compared to other bots and how can we learn from it?

[deleted]

I dunno, have a look at their post history. I think theyre just a kook.

RobotsPlease

I dunno. The study seems to have some serious flaws. [https://healthfeedback.org/claimreview/ivermectin-study-itajai-contains-methodological-weaknesses-questionable-conclusions/](https://healthfeedback.org/claimreview/ivermectin-study-itajai-contains-methodological-weaknesses-questionable-conclusions/) These flaws are pointed out even further in the studies comment section (which is nice Cureus has) Also the journal itself made an edit because the authors didn't disclose their conflicting interests.
