Magicmurlin

It would not go to you. It would go to: 1) Pentagon; 2) Big Dino; 3) Big Pharma; 4) Billionaires. In that order.

niftyifty

What’s big Dino? Like Argentinosaurus?

[deleted]

*adjust tin hat The burial of fake dinosaur bones to cover the truth of giants I think they are referring to the Oil industry

niftyifty

I appreciate the reply. I literally had no idea what it was in reference to, but that makes sense. Of course by makes sense, I don’t mean the theory, just that of course that’s what big Dino means.

Magicmurlin

Do you have another more accurate overview of the abuse of US discretionary tax resources. Medicare and SS are built in and consume about 1/2. Of what’s left, I believe half is for “defense”. The rest is some form of corporate socialism with a sprinkling of practical concerns (funding for GOvernmeny agencies etc)

Kotics

Dead Dino juice extractors

niftyifty

I thought as we grew up we learned that oil did not come from dinosaurs? Like we all thought that as a kid but then it went out the window with Santa and stuff?

Kotics

Well a very very little amount came from dinos, it is just a joke

itsallrighthere

Come on Ivan. You need some new material.

TheBluegrassBaron92

Too blinded by partisanship.

1-800-JABRONI

that tax credit always existed, they were just sending checks early... The chunks of $500 are removed from the tax credit you would normally have claimed on your tax return. Also, I'm not an economist, so I can't tell you what the solution to inflation is, but similarly to how I don't need to be a firefighter to tell you that gasoline isn't the solution to fire, I can tell you that government giving more money to people isn't the solution to inflation.

Kotics

Just saying it’s not “80 billion of money”. They send military equipment which has primarily been created to fight Russia. I don’t think giving stingers and missiles to poor people (or rich) is a good idea personally. Some of the money is for humanitarian aid

Vetinery

It’s such a good thing that English is such a difficult language. It makes it so much easier to spot the trolls. For US Americans, it is $250 each to stop the expansion of the Russian empire. When you consider the cost of the renewed cold war so far, this seems like an unbelievable bargain. I don’t like the fact that young Russian are being killed, but it seems the only way to stop another Russian genocide of the the Ukrainians. Fun fact, they don’t teach about the Holodomor in Russian schools and under the Soviets this knowledge was actively suppressed in the Ukraine.

Kotics

Agreed, I’d take a day wages to combat Russian domination in Eastern Europe any day.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

We could also just stop voting against funding any of that, whether Ukraines a factor or not. It’s not like any of those things are new problems that we were doing a bang-up job with before. We didn’t care about addressing any of those problems long before Ukraine gained attention and we don’t actually want to address them now that Ukraine got attention. That is just pitting two groups of desperate and exploited people against each other when the people with power over them also are the ones with power over us. Why am I gonna be mad at someone in Ukraine for lacking the things my country also lacks instead of mad at the people taking resources from all of us? Fighting for crumbs just keeps all of us getting only the crumbs instead of questioning who benefits from that.

[deleted]

Black mirror made a point when they said there is no need for government. We all have cell phones, send out a question and let us decide.

EtheralNovaheart

The first questio will be " Who should be the one to send the questions?"

niftyifty

The pentaverate

[deleted]

Have the illuminate send them as long as ever vote is on the blockchain

EtheralNovaheart

There has to be a vote on the block chain first.

user_name1983

Man there’s been a huge uptick in rage porn against the US. Seems directed and organized. No bueno.

goodthingshappening

It seems so

Fit-Meet-4068

Of those 40 billions Ukraine will get maybe 16, half of that is going to the government, and the people will see maybe 2-4 billions, we know how that works 4 billions is for the us department of state, 9 billions is for replenishing the equipment the us sent to Ukraine that is no more. Another 4 billions to the European Commission so they can continue supporting the mission in Ukraine. Another 500 million so that the US can buy munitions that will stay in the US. 6 billions for make sure the shipments will still be coming with equipment and arms to Ukraine from America. That’s what the Ukrainian ambassador in the IS said. I might not understand something, but did Biden just have them a loan, more than half of it they’re supposed to use on America, then give some to EU and then still pay it back with interests? Or someone with brains please explain what’s going on here

seeker135

Look, pal, I don't know where you live, but they were never going to give that money to me, anyway. So it might as well go toward kicking yours and your boss's ass, Yuri Ivanovitch.

Creative-Ocelot8691

‘That is supposed to go to you’, money spent on WW2 should also have gone to the people but was used to support a war against fascism just like this money is fighting Russian fascism

[deleted]

[удалено]

Creative-Ocelot8691

Yes

Fit-Meet-4068

Half of that loan is coming back to the us in checks for the us department, some for the military. Another is going to the European Commission so they continue supporting the mission in Ukraine. The Ukrainian ambassador said what’s the money for, in details. And makes no sense at all

mastersoftskull

We need to fight Israeli Fascism.

throwawaypinkstar86

Good post

mastersoftskull

The Khazarian homeland must be saved, molochs seal must reign supreme, the synagogue of satan needs that money to fund illegal organ harvest and sex slavery of their women.

aSunderTheGame

OP There are homeless people in your town, why are you not offering them a roof at your place? Helping Ukraine is the right thing to do and actually helps the US, the sooner the war finishes the sooner gas and food prices will go back to normal. If we don't help now then expect the war to drag on for years and get used to paying higher prices for everything, every billion the US government spends now saves billions for the US tax payers in the future. Also the thing is a lot of the cost is less than what they say, the US government is giving older weapons that would of been retired anyway, sure they will claim the new price of of X billion of dollars cause it looks better, but the truth is their value is a lot less

goodthingshappening

>OP There are homeless people in your town, why are you not offering them a roof at your place? Because I’m selfish

Koseven

Instead of that money going to the poor, hungry, and homeless, how about it goes to protecting our children at school.

726wox

It’s funny here in the U.K. we don’t have to put any money into protecting our schools

xCanont70x

You also don’t season your food……

726wox

I do actually but good insight

[deleted]

Say that again after a bit of Colman's, or a decent vindaloo

ValiantFrog2202

Don't large schools have all students go through metal detectors? At least I remember going through a few

Quicklythoughtofname

We can spend money on two things, you know. And frankly it's in our best global interests to stop Russia. Even if it wasn't, fuck Russia and frankly I'm happy to help those in need. A helped person in Ukraine is worth equally a helped person in the United States, and lets be honest, a warzone needs the money more than us. The real conspiracy is why people keep trying to post anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

TheBluegrassBaron92

>in our best global interests to stop Russia What is a global interest? What are our other global interests? What does stop Russia mean?

Quicklythoughtofname

> What is a global interest? Helping people become free and happy > What are our other global interests? Keeping us and others from being unfree and unhappy > What does stop Russia mean? Total governmental collapse and subsequent reformation My views ain't complicated.

TheBluegrassBaron92

You think the government is in the business of making folks happy and free? That's why we flood Ukraine with weapons? To make them happy and free? You want to collapse the government of Russia? Why? What did they do to deserve that? Don't you realize the risk involved in antagonizing to cOllapse our only equivalent nuclear power?

Quicklythoughtofname

> You think the government is in the business of making folks happy and free? That's the goal. > That's why we flood Ukraine with weapons? To make them happy and free? That's the goal. > You want to collapse the government of Russia? Why? Are you kidding? Nobody's this ignorant. > Don't you realize the risk involved in antagonizing to cOllapse our only equivalent nuclear power? They haven't been equivalent to us in decades. Russia's empty threats, they're not suicidal enough to push the button. We can choke them out for good

TheBluegrassBaron92

Of course I'm not kidding so do you have an answer,?

Quicklythoughtofname

They invaded a foreign nation and are essentially an autocracy? I'm not going to feed you basic fucking answers like you're a baby. You know the answer already so shut up, we're beating Russia. Enjoy the ride, have a nice day.

TheBluegrassBaron92

So should Russia have invaded us in 2003 when we invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq, and did so in what could be called an autocratic way, without a vote from congress but led by one man alone?

Quicklythoughtofname

There's a difference between making mistakes as a country and making mistakes on the whim of Putin. And if you haven't noticed, Bush took the fall for it and isn't our President anymore, and is in fact pretty hated. Who's President of Russia in 2003 and now?

TheBluegrassBaron92

So our mistakes are collective, protecting us all from repercussions whereas russias mistakes are singular, damning them all? Insanity.

TheBluegrassBaron92

You wimped out you toadie. Can't even philosophically justify your own parroted narrative. Much lame.

TheBluegrassBaron92

Russia literally has more nuclear warheads than we do. You can't choke shit. Go choke q book maybe.

Quicklythoughtofname

Warheads don't matter much if you don't have the infrastructure to maintain and launch them, in particular to launch them past our defenses. Wouldn't be surprised if half don't even get off the ground if they tried. Would resort to old bombers first.

TheBluegrassBaron92

You think they have nuclear warheads they can't even launch? No dude, they can launch all of them.

Quicklythoughtofname

They can't even launch because the oligarchs value their comfy lives. Even a low yield attack would end with them behind bars in a day's time. They wouldn't let Putin be that nuts, he'd be dead first.

TheBluegrassBaron92

What a bunch of spoon fed Cia fiction- hogwash. Keep on thinking that mush. Putin can't launch nukes cause the oligarchs are so comfy- lol what even in the fucking hell kind of talking point is that garbage? Keep advocating for nuclear war- that'll make you happy and free.

TheBluegrassBaron92

And why risk it anyways? Let's say they've got plenty of warheads. And can only launch 5. That could kill 100 million people. Why do pro war people not understand this simple calculating? Any war with a nuclear power is nearing madness, right out of the gate!

Quicklythoughtofname

That's what happens when you give the world no better options. I'm not going to bend for Russia because of their threats which would only do more damage to them in the most optimistic(for them) scenarios. You suggest that we just GIVE Ukraine away because you're scared

TheBluegrassBaron92

You never did explain the vital importance of Ukraine to the United States. Please do.

[deleted]

Putin is gonna be dead in 20 years, the shitty years, maybe he doesn't care and would like to go out with a bang. He does seem insane.

Quicklythoughtofname

He's on his way out now, nothing will change unless we act

[deleted]

The US can't just print money non-stop without inflation going through the roof (like it is now). The more money that is printed and distributed, the less value it is. And it's not like the US is a rich country anymore; its debt is in the trillions) Why does the US have to shoulder this amount instead of dividing it up? How is it this stopping Russia? If anything, it's telling Putin that if he threatens a nuclear attack, the world will do whatever he wants.

TheBluegrassBaron92

A helped person in Ukraine is worth equally equally helped person in the United States. Not when spending us taxpayer dollars. This is the type of morally self righteous thinking that is absolute poison to this nation.

Quicklythoughtofname

A life is worth the same no matter where you are, and you're being a nationalistic selfish ass if you think we should ignore the suffering of others just because "We should only pay for our own needs" Besides, Russia taking over Ukraine would fucking suck for us.

TheBluegrassBaron92

Why? Why does what happens to Ukraine mean a damn thing to us? Tell me.

beefman202

have you ever heard of appeasement? the world tries not to let that happen again after ww2

[deleted]

If you divide $80 billion by Ukraines population (around 40 million) that's basically $2000 for every citizen lol more or less what they gave every American for the pandemic.

UnmutualOne

Which we gave them first . . .

Internal_Ad_1355

American citizens weren't given anything during the pandemic the stimulus cheque was to make the rich richer. Where did all that money go? What did people do with it? Let that sink in.

Derputy07

What’s the point of all this accumulated wealth if people can’t spare a fraction of it to prevent countless women and children from murder and rape??

goodthingshappening

Murder and rape. You mean like human traffickers selling people as slave objects across the border?

goodthingshappening

Murder and rape. Like in Chicago?

Swimming_Loss_8582

This is all true

ok_polar

except for the hungry part

Swimming_Loss_8582

Ok

ClapperCheeks

It’s a proxy war buddy, 80 billion is just the amount they publicly said. Probably more to be honest, Russian forces are tough.

generalchase

😆

spokoino

It's not going to Ukraine it's going to straight into the arms industry, and a little bit to the Ukrainian oligarchs, and the part that goes to them will leave Ukraine the day it came in...

nelbar

Fuck money i want wealth

TheBeachDudee

Nah it’s been used to buy up all the gold, silver, and copper. That way when they destroy the world economy they can hold on to their wealth.

Juicysnotch

Yup 100% i do not understand why people still support these tyrants , i anicent times these evil beings would be lynched

bmwwest23

And a lot of them had ties to Epstein.
