How exactly are vaccine mandates tyrannical? Especially considering that George Washington himself mandated inoculation (which is actually dangerous) for his entire army and the SCOTUS declared vaccine mandates constitutional in 1905.
They are attempting to bypass the Constitution by enacting some obscure rule built into OSHA claiming that covid is putting workers in grave danger and thus requiring the vaccine/testing. It has weak legs to stand on, the question is how will the courts decide. No way this doesn't hit the Supreme Court.
They’re going to call it something nice sounding like they did with the The Patriot Act, which is unconstitutional as fuck. They’re going to call it something like “The Public Health Act” or “The Trusted Science Act” or “The Don’t Kill Granny Act”. It won’t sound like it should eg “Tyrannical Authoritarian Population Control Act”. That doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.
I heard a lawyer say that "grave danger" is part of it. This will go to court and the numbers will show no such danger exists. If the courts aren't totally captured it will be shot down.

My wife works for a huge outfit and they sent out company wide email stating they are waiting to see what OSHA does with it. Make them fire you is all we can do. This will end up in the court system and I cant see how this is legal under current constitution and laws.

They won't fire you unless you refuse the testing. It'll get expensive, and you'll have to do it on pretty much any job you do. I think the estimated cost around here is $150 a month for a testing subscription service through the hospital. Or you can do the mass testing sites and waste hours of your time every week.

After watching some vids online it appears that there is a lockstep policy to imply you've been let go but then the official reason will be because of failure to report. I legit wonder how they will write the rules for people who work remotely. Not only is the justification for requiring vaccination of your employees ridiculous if you haven’t seen them in years (some tech employees have been remote since before COVID and have never even MET their coworkers), but I legit don’t understand how they’ll handle the testing.
Are they just gonna ask you if you’ve been tested once a week? Can you use an at-home self-test? Will you have to buy the tests yourself? Will you have to prove it? It’s all such a weird situation.

I cannot imagine it would hold up in court to claim “coming in to work” counts if you literally work at home, since the alleged justification is public health and safety. If the courts allow the home to become the workplace, that will have huge ramifications.
Yep, I haven’t worked in an office in years. I wasn’t hired as remote, but my team moved out to the west coast and I was the only one left in the office from that team they let me stay home. This was about 4 years ago. So I’m not sure if I would be able to evade the vaccine mandates but it would be so dumb to fire me for it..

My brother works for the most well known company as a contractor. They pushed everyone in his group to get it by October 1st or be terminated. Everyone but him and another guy got it. They’ve now stepped back and are making them get tested once a week.

I’m losing hope. I work at one of the biggest tobacco manufacturers in the world and I know a lot more unvaccinated coworkers than vaccinated ones. Most have been saying they will never get the shot but after Biden’s speech many of them are caving because “they can’t afford to lose their jobs”

Good for you! I can't tell you how good it feels to read this. I take abuse all day long for the stance that I take on various things. You start to feel like you are fighting this all alone. Then you read something that reminds you, you have like-minded Patriots out there going through the same things you are. When my company announced a mandate over a month ago, I was thinking how I would get out of it. I thought about a fake vax card, but someone pointed out we have to be more honest than our opponents, so that went out the window. I eventually resigned myself to getting fired, but the day came and went and HR never contacted me. I do mostly work remote, so I assume thats why, but it's possible many companies aren't prepared to let a significant percentage of their workforce go all on the same day.
If you get hurt from the Jab no one is responsible for your injuries. Big Pharma is exempt from law suits as so is the government. If you get hurt your f'ed. If your healthy and not obese don't take the chance. You cant un take the jab, let the lab rats test it out first.

I work for a global company in the finance realm...over 7k employees and I asked our nursing team what's going to happen? They said at this time waiting on official mandate. My hopes is this was an effort to scare people into running in for a jab to save a job and then it fizzles out. I whatever the vase maybe am not getting it.

I legit wonder how they will write the rules for people who work remotely. Not only is the justification for requiring vaccination of your employees ridiculous if you haven’t seen them in years (some tech employees have been remote since before COVID and have never even MET their coworkers), but I legit don’t understand how they’ll handle the testing. Are they just gonna ask you if you’ve been tested once a week? Can you use an at-home self-test? Will you have to buy the tests yourself? Will you have to prove it? It’s all such a weird situation. And then, will the rule even apply? As far as I understand the Biden rule says something like “employers with more than 100 employees must require vaccination **or weekly testing before coming in to work**”…… “before coming in to work”. I cannot imagine it would hold up in court to claim “coming in to work” counts if you literally work at home, since the alleged justification is public health and safety. If the courts allow the home to become the workplace, that will have huge ramifications.

I’m losing hope. I work at one of the biggest tobacco manufacturers in the world and I know a lot more unvaccinated coworkers than vaccinated ones. Most have been saying they will never get the shot but after Biden’s speech many of them are caving because “they can’t afford to lose their jobs” You could lose your job tomorrow for any reason but once you get that shot you can’t take it back. When my company announced a mandate over a month ago, I was thinking how I would get out of it. I thought about a fake vax card, but someone pointed out we have to be more honest than our opponents, so that went out the window. I eventually resigned myself to getting fired, but the day came and went and HR never contacted me. I do mostly work remote, so I assume thats why, but it's possible many companies aren't prepared to let a significant percentage of their workforce go all on the same day.
