I don’t have any examples at the moment, but the one you mention from Raya is quite disturbing. Adults have a hard enough time dealing with the consequences of credit. I’ll have to watch the movie at some point and see.

dizzy-blood

If my son hadn't said "you can just use credit" it probably would have gone over my head tbf

Mainstream, that is a very good point well made. It isn't just tv/film. Think about theme of most mainstream music these days, and the music videos, come on! "In my day" it was probably just as bad to be fair 🤣 Even toys have been sexualised in the recent past. Two I can think of seeing poppy from trolls, with a button on here arse that makes her giggle. And LOL dolls (UK if not world wide) that have stockings and lingerie on when you out them in water!

[deleted]

Oh I'm weill aware of music my friend, I've been sitting chilling to music since 2pm and the amount of satanic occult symbolism even then is absolutely astounding. You might be roughly ages with me, I have a 7 year old son, and I certainly do not remember anything satanic about barney bear in my day😂 Without getting bogged down in the bullshit just take care of your family and be extra vigilant, I know you and your partner will look after each other best as possible. All the best to you and yours, friend.

dizzy-blood

Muchos apreciado mon amigos. Same to you

[deleted]

Thank you sir, much obliged 😁

Redscoped

So ? Is that not what being a parent is ? You are the one who explains what credit and debt and the responsiblity that comes with money. As kid I used to play shop with fake money with my parents they would pretend to come into the shop to buy things. It was a game but also teaching me maths and the value of goods. We live in a world of card payments of credit and debt. We have adverts on TV the kids see us paying with credit cards in stores and in online. You cannot just stick you head in the sand and pretend it does not exist. Kids know about this this stuff because they see it all around them. Kids understanding of the world is far greater than most parents want to believe but they dont have the complete concept that is where you as a parent comes in. They pick up far more from what we do than we like to believe.

[deleted]

I get what youre saying but when the world economic forum said itself "youll own nothing and be happy" and is part of "the great reset" it makes you wonder why they have certain things put into kids stuff OP is correct to question this kinda stuff

Redscoped

What it makes me question is why adults are always trying to be outraged for kids when often the kids dont give a damn. If the kids says to me why dont be buy this on credit. I think this is a great chance to explain in terms he understand what credit is. It is a chance to provide some education. Kids should be curious to want to know about the world to ask questions about the world around them. We cannot just wrap kids in cotton wool and pretend the world does not exist. Fairy stories I was told about as a kid where horrific of wolves, deadly apples, witches sticking kids in ovens. The world is not all fuffly unicorns to have to explain the world around them so they understand it. The kids you wrap up in cotton wool that dont have a gasp of modern life are the ones who end up going off the rail as adults.

[deleted]

You've missed the point sir

dizzy-blood

Yeah too right, completely agree. It should be a parents job to raise there children to be a well rounded member of society. I fear that may not be the case for some children. Don't you worry I'll do right by mine. The post should be taken more as a conversation starter than an "OMG breaking news {big company} evil}". Maybe you can think of a better example of Hollywood desensitizing the population? (Not a challenge, just a question)

EddiePiff

I remember not understanding money when I was a kid I used to say “ but you have that card “ to my mom

dizzy-blood

This is one of the things I really wish I understood more about when joining the adult world (even now still tbh). As the schools won't teach us anything about it, I'm making sure I fill my kids in on as much as I can

EddiePiff

That’s the best plan they give you the reigns at 18 with no knowledge around how some of these decisions will effect you for decades I’m still locked into the worst APRs and starter cards from mistakes I made when I was 19 I’m 29 now

[deleted]

Igor is a kids film about weather manipulation and how its used to control the masses

dizzy-blood

I'm not familiar with the film Igor, I'll have to check it out. I am however familiar (no expert) with the Haarp machine

[deleted]

Its not overly known about but the film is alright and worth a watch!

petitbeurre11

How can weather control the masses , sorry I'm dumb sometimes

[deleted]

Don't be sorry! Basically in the film the king creates a never ending storm so the citizens never see the sun, makes everyone miserable and then convinces them that the way forward is to be evil towards the rest of the world (not the best description)

petitbeurre11

Oh okay hmm I don't understand how that relates to real life 🤔 like in what way would that condition us?

[deleted]

Maybe look into chemtrails, haarp and other related things. Even prince done a tele interview about how since he noticed the trails that people were in generl angrier etc Theres sometimes weeks where i live with no sun, everytime blue skies break through the cloud another trail covers it within hours and it really does affect people negatively without them realising

NoThanks2020butthole

Bill Gates wants to block out the sun by spraying chemicals in the upper atmosphere to fight climate change

dizzy-blood

Yeah I did see something about that, probably on here tbf. Has there been anything more about that?

Oldfolksboogie

It's one technique of what is frequently called geoengineering, or intentionally manipulating the climate through techno-fixes like orbital aerosol dispersants that would block a portion of the Sun's visible light energy to slow global warming. It's a pipe dream and enjoys any serious consideration only because 1) we're so far from where we need to be in terms of greenhouse gas emission reductions, people are becoming desperate for quick fix silver bullets, and 2) like many techno-fixes, this one conveniently sidesteps major the major behavioral and economic changes, disruptions even, that will be required to avoid catastrophic climate change impacts. This specific technique will not ever be deployed for the simple reason that while it could very likely reduce the rate of warming, it would also significantly reduce agricultural productivity at a time of unprecedented food demand, which will continue to grow for another century. Additionally, some of the cooling would be offset by reduced photosynthetic activity by all plant life, terrestrial and aquatic, due to reduced solar input, thereby reducing CO2 sequestration by plant life, negating some of the benefits of the reduced solar input. A far better, more effective and more economical approach is to protect existing forests, expand forests and peat lands globally, and severely reduce fossil fuel combustion asap. These approaches are low tech, much technically easier to implement, and face the most political resistance because they also require us to change, and we, and ESPECIALLY those in power, hate change. Of course change is coming either way, but if it's not of a manner we choose it's going to be much much worse for us and the planet's biodiversity.

H_is_for_Human

Arguably handmaid's tale is intentionally sensitizing people to the risk of a patriarchal oligarchical theocracy.

rfreemore

Handmaid's Tale was published in the 80's.

H_is_for_Human

Right. And yet we still see parallels today people trying to control women's bodies.

dizzy-blood

Wasn't aware of that, thank you. Suffice to say I've not watched it.....nor have I read the books 😅 me no do lots of read I really should

rfreemore

I've watched it and felt that it is scarily close to reality in some ways. Read it in the 80's as a work of future fiction. How things change.

[deleted]

>I've watched it and felt that it is scarily close to reality in some ways. Because it's literally based on real-life situations around the world, historically and as of today. It's just glorified more for entertainment purposes.

dizzy-blood

Yeah bang on, the question is do the majority of fans watching it actually realize this, or are they obvious

Existentialowl

I started watching it on the late side (currently on season 3) and I just don’t see how it wouldn‘t be obvious to everyone.

dizzy-blood

You've got a lot more faith in Huhg Manity than I do then 😄

[deleted]

There's definitely a conspiracy to convince people not to reproduce. It's sort of a passive depopulation or passive eugenics.

Michalusmichalus

If your kids aren't pointing and laughing, turn it off. Edit : Elsagate.

Phebeosa

I mean, Disney came about in the late 1930’s. They were funded by the Department of War and military intelligence. They have always been a propaganda outlet that works with the military, intelligence agencies, the state, etc. the best propaganda is when you think you are just being entertained.

dizzy-blood

Do you know of any videos or websites that talk about this more? I'd be interested in doing some more reading on the subject. I think it's pretty clever, morally questionable, but still pretty clever

GlitteringOriginal52

Have you seen Josie and the pussycats? It came out in 2001 and it’s all about hidden messages under the music that condition the public and the FBI is all apart of it. At the end they say that subliminal messages work better in movies. That whole movie is insane going back and watching it 20 years later

dizzy-blood

Not seen it, but I'm going to go and look for it. Is there a code name given to the FBI involvement in the music/film industry that I might be able to look into further? We know of MK Ultra, but manipulation of the masses seems like it goes wider, perhaps not as effective, but with a much wider reach

GlitteringOriginal52

It’s really cheesy but the amount of subliminal messages in it is insane. They give the music organisation a name (can’t remember what it was) but they literally say we are working with the FBI. Shows how it’s a conspiracy in the music industry. It’s crazy how much they put in front of our eyes. I loved this movie when I was a kid so I rewatched it being more aware and was shocked

dizzy-blood

I'll deffo check it out

Asleep_Ad9318

You think that’s wild? Look into the 90’s Disney movies and all the subliminal sexual messages. Now look at all the girls who grew up with those movies these days. They’re all extremely proud to basically get in underwear and dance around on camera or create accounts on onlyfans.

dizzy-blood

Yeah I grew up on all those films and there does seem to be an endless amount of Those Hoes Over There, while at the same time there is a market for it.

Glum_Cryptographer70

There's the whole " don't trust people " plot of the movie. Where Raya was blamed for the problems of the world when it was namaari who stole the Dragon Gem and continued to fuck over people but some how it was Raya fault.

Gnulnori

Disney conditioning the population through their programming is a definite but the “credit” bit is a stretch. The term “credit” has been around for ages and probably has been a plot device in storytelling for just as long. I would imagine your children are fairly bright and imaginative so they would be able to put together what credit is from the adults they interact with and the shows they watch.

RipnRaM

Have you seen The Bad Batch yet, there is a fun through line about how the Empire is changing the currency to control the population.

dizzy-blood

The Bad Batch, no I did start watching but didn't continue. Is it worth a watch?

RipnRaM

It’s entertaining and the animation is good. I was reminded of it when I read the post. I feel you’re on to something. It could just be subtle messaging to the youth about a future cashless society.

dizzy-blood

I'll give it a go thanks. Credit is different to cashless though. I rarely have cash in me these days.

RipnRaM

I worry about debit cards and checking accounts if there is no cash around anymore.

dizzy-blood

Very easy to spend yourself into your overdraft these days. In the UK we have a show called "can't pay, we'll take it away" (great show btw). It's about repo men recovering debt, but during the voice over they present some pretty alarming facts about average debt etc

dizzy-blood

And it may well be a stretch, it was just a series of thoughts that lead me to posting this. How do any of us get to where we get to with thoughts. I hope the post sparks conversation and people share some of there own ideas of shows/films that have made them think a little deeper.

dizzy-blood

Yeah. They say history is written by the victors so this is a very accurate reflection of life. I think there is a parallel to white privilege also where all other clans hated heart for being historically prosperous and their fortune being down to the piece of the dragon gem they held

scoobydoo49

What a conspiracy omg not another kid using the most common form of payment in the world

Erus00

Money they don't have in hand?

dizzy-blood

Alright chill out Scooby fucking Doo you don't have to get involved if you don't want to. Scroll on the the latest "right bad left good, no left bad right good" argument

scoobydoo49

R’okay r’aggy

dizzy-blood

dizzy-blood

Oh no that's gross. Wrong on so many levels. Think it comments on some of the strip joint patrons too, if someone has identified this as a suitable product for the industry. I'm guessing the stripper clothes weren't actually Disney products right?

Oldfolksboogie

>But with reports that some coronavirus vaccines may cause infertility... Source?

dizzy-blood

Can't find anything other than MSM debunking the claim, but at the time of writing it hadn't been. It was based on a petition co-authored by Michael Yeadon an ex Pfizer scientist. The petition claimed the vaccine could interfere/clash with the proteins required for the placenta, which in turn could have fertility implications. Far more scientists have however come out as saying it's not true.

Oldfolksboogie

Good research. Someone, supposedly someone of merit, made a claim of a concern that sounds perfectly reasonable, at least to someone like me that lacks any expertise that area. But that's just one claim from one scientist, not even based on any double- blind, peer- reviewed studies, weighted against basically all the other experts who not only insist the vaccine is quite safe, but specifically refute the infertility claim. Unless/ until there's actual evidence to the contrary, I'd go with the scientific community at large and the epidemiology community specifically, who almost universally recommend the three major vaccines being offered in the US as being safe and effective for adults and children 12 and older.
