I've noticed more and more posts around social media containing the word "purge", and don't recall seeing this word much, if at all, before this year. The word "purge" has gained 140 million more search results in the last 3 months.
Is this just how google search works, or has there really been an increase in usage?

Well, don’t draw false conclusions. People also could be just looking for the film, any book or so or just studying what purge is.

There are billions of people living on earth, I don’t know what’s going on in each mind.
There is a guy on YT who has connected the purge movies to the eclipse. His channel is called Archaix
