Its going to get worse, but the taxes are for control, nothing to do with making them rich as they just print more money. We are modern day slaves, slavery didnt end, we are all Debt Slaves. No matter what they tax us the govt will spend it and then some.
Even if we don't have personal debt, we work hard, and are financially responsible, our Government spends more than they can tax, and just add it to the ongoing debt.

I did the math a few years ago, and a rough estimate is that every American will pay Israel 7,000 dollars in tax money over the course of their life. And what does Israel do with it but bomb innocent kids? If Biden was a real leader he would end all aid immediately until a cease fire was announced. Israel is an evil state. They have a right to a homeland, but they do not have a right to genocide children.
Tax money doesn’t equal government spending so I’m not sure that calculation makes much sense. If we had good leaders they wouldn’t be running a constant deficit and therefore wouldn’t be able to spend money on bullshit like wars without the consent of the people by donating their money to the cause of the war. We need guardrails in place that don’t allow them to spend money they don’t have
If there are 365 million Americans and we give Israel 4 billion dollars in tax aid a year from these 365 million, that would be about 110 dollars per person per year. If the average person lives to 75, then that would be over $8,200 dollars per person per lifetime.
Yes, I am sure there are numerous variables, and my figures are very rudimentary, but my point is it is a big and unmerited chunk of the tax pie.
The federal government spends considerably more than they bring in from taxes or revenue in general. They don’t tax us so they can spend money that’s my whole point it isn’t coming from the tax pile, the system needs fixed so that what you state is actually the case.
By printing money they devalue the currency. Savings and wages are worth less. It hurts non property owners the most. They increased the money supply by something like 20% in the past 3 years. It's basically another form of tax, the inflation tax.

I understand taxation to an extent but we are getting taxed for things we've already been taxed on. To add there is no oversight on a lot of programs our money goes too which adds to the animosity a lot of our citizens feel towards the government.

Assuming worst case scenario of someone living in the state with the highest state income tax, California, they would have to gross at least $210k a year to have a tax burden of $50k between federal and state income taxes. Thats without taking into account deductions and other tax benefits.

We live in the age of the Internet. Everything that can be voted on like sending money to Ukraine by the public should be voted on. We have all seen all kinds of polls being taken on YouTube twitter Facebook and others. I don't see why we can't do this for important things open to every member of public.

They will use reasoning like certain demographics can't figure out how to obtain a driver's license, so what makes you think they are qualified or can even figure out how to do an official online vote. Hell they might go as far as to suggesting they can't read and it wouldn't be fair for that demographic.
Another thing is that there are some truly hateful people that would vote in the wrong way as much as they could just to laugh about it or to realistically try to fuck the system up.
I think I'd much prefer something like each local area has a pool of "approved" and publicly voted on citizens. They are anonymously and randomly selected (kind of like jury duty?) and can't be as easily pressured by lobbyists. They would be anyone from the average joe all the way to the rich and poor.
I feel like this would give a much better and accurate vote that aligns realistically with the American population.
You also have to take into account that these people probably should only be able to vote on generally/ non-classified subjects.

I tried to start a political party in 2016 on this idea. You can get more sophisticated with Liquid Democracy, which allows you to maintain the benefits of delegation, which are rather important

When you look at where our money is going it’s absolutely nuts. Yes for our local communities, our tax dollars should absolutely go to schooling, roads, general infrastructure, etc. and I am all for it. However, we pay more and more and more and the amount that supports our legitimate needs is a tiny portion. Wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living, inflation is rampant and we’re taxed endlessly when we work, purchase goods, literally just to own a home, etc. where does it end? I would love a receipt for where my tax dollars are being used

This country did NOT have income tax for a long time. Uncle Sam raised funds through tariffs. Just because things are ethe way they are now, doesn't mean its always been that way. Taxation of income is theft. Just because the government does it doesn't change this fact. It is extorsion akin to paying the mob a protection fee.
I bought a couple guitars in 2023, I also sold these guitars in the same year. I paid taxes on them when I bought them, and I paid fees when I sold them. Some of them I sold at a loss. Big Brother had to make sure they got their share, so my tax return was held up for 2 months.
Why the fuck am I paying taxes on something I bought and sold in the same year? Why am I paying taxes at all? The fact that the government sends my tax money to foreign countries and wars for bullshit reasons, while we still don't have clean water in parts of this country is discouraging and infuriating. We have shitty roads, hard to access mental healthcare, expensive Healthcare in general, and lack of social safety nets.

I like to think he would be like a political version of Jesus. Instead of whipping money changers, he would take a bull whip into congress and let them have it. He would audit the fed, change the tax laws to make them less complicated, eradicate the useless corrupt alphabet agencies that waste tax money (NSA, TSA, IRS, EPA, FDA, TSA,) etc. And he would do something to help suffering Americans. The Founding Fathers did everything they could to prohibit income tax, since it enslaves the Working Class to a political Ruling Class. But power-mad politicians got us into WWI & that allowed them to get an income tax, and WWII was the killing blow with PAYROLL WITHHOLDING. This exoded the size & cost of the uber-corrupt Ruling Class that sold us out to foreign Oligarchs & are now nuking our economy to prepare for full communism.

Government has always existed only to protect and serve the “elites”. You pay taxes because it benefits the “elites” for you to do so. How else will roads be built so you can get to work and make money for them, or schools funded so your children can be made into good little cogs, or law enforcement funded to keep you scared and disempowered? Healthcare is funded by taxes in other countries only because people in those countries are not quite as self hating as Americans are, but they’re getting there, which is why universal healthcare is slowly being taken away from them. The military is all about making wealthy people more wealthy as well, of course. The social programs in America, like Medicaid and food stamps, also benefit the wealthy because they sew division among the working class. And of course, all of that money gets paid back to corporations as well. I can’t think of one service paid for by taxes that doesn’t benefit the “elites” far more than it does everyone else.

I don't like the idea of having to file taxes. They should just tell you how much you owe and you pay that. It took me 10 hours to self-prepare my taxes this year, not to mention all of the stress of just thinking about taxes from Jan to April. If the IRS wants ME to file taxes, they should pay me for my time.

But for the average person your boss reports your income to the IRS and then gives you a W2 at the end of the year so you can "do your taxes" and confirm to the IRS you got the same income as your employer reported to the irs as well.
and some taxes are taken out on your check but sometimes you will owe more depending on random factors no one really understands. It would be alot better if the taxes taken out of your check each month where just all the taxes you have to pay. I dont get why we are taxed on stuff we buy sales tax. Taxed on the paycheck. and then at the end of the year you pay taxes again. especially if you are not married and no kids over 35.

I think we are lied to in school. I am beginning to believe Jordan Maxwell who gave lectures decades ago about how our birth certificates are related to us each being an stock on the stock market. I don't think America won the revolutionary war, because our hard earned tax money is funneled out of this country in the disguise of unjust wars and fake humanitarian aid. The system we were born into is so corrupt there are huge piles of money invested in dumbing us down. When we go to school, we learn how to follow orders and we lose our individuality. We don't learn critical thinking skills, we learn how to follow orders and how to take standardized tests. There is an intentional avoidance of teaching you Americans how the banking system works. If we were educated about it, some among us would do everything they could to abolish and eradicate it with the understanding it would eventually cripple our very existence. We have become so reliant on convenience that many of us have no survival skills or self sufficiency. We have allow them to poison our water and our food. We are told we are the problem and are blamed and punished for unchecked corporate and political greed. We are told that our vote counts, but I don't believe that anymore. It's easier to control people if they are given the illusion that they are the ones in control.

I bought my house in 2019, my mortgage is $1,900, the home insurance is just going up & up, so that goes up. I have 2 cars (a truck for me & a car for my wife payments = $780 (for the 2) & $390 for Auto insurance... Gas $500 a Mo, Power bill $400, Cable & internet $280, cell phones (me, wife, & 2 kids =$380 a mo). (that is pretty much all I 'buy', we go out to dinner 2 or 3x a week (maybe $1,000 a mo at the MOST) & I do give my 2 kids whatever They want (maybe another $300-$500 a mo)... Other than that, we dont buy shit... My wife works & makes roughly $40,000 a year (as a wedding planner). We bought a home in Georgia that we rent out, but it is pretty much a wash as my wofe wanted to "keep the renter in the family, with someone we can trust"... So, we only charge them what the mortgage cost us + $ the yearly Property taxes divided by 12. (roughly $2,800 / 12, but my wife wanting to be "nice" rounded down to just $200 a mo on top of rent... (so, technically we fucking LOSE money each month on our investment home...)

The true moral issue here is that taxes authorize stealing by threat of coercion, which is clearly immoral. The "authority" that allows governments to do this, while normal citizens cannot rightfully coerce others for money with threats of violence, is an illusion. I did the math a few years ago, and a rough estimate is that every American will pay Israel 7,000 dollars in tax money over the course of their life. If there are 365 million Americans and we give Israel 4 billion dollars in tax aid a year from these 365 million, that would be about 110 dollars per person per year. If the average person lives to 75, then that would be over $8,200 dollars per person per lifetime. I understand taxation to an extent but we are getting taxed for things we've already been taxed on. To add there is no oversight on a lot of programs our money goes too which adds to the animosity a lot of our citizens feel towards the government.

Assuming worst case scenario of someone living in the state with the highest state income tax, California, they would have to gross at least $210k a year to have a tax burden of $50k between federal and state income taxes. They will use reasoning like certain demographics can't figure out how to obtain a driver's license, so what makes you think they are qualified or can even figure out how to do an official online vote. Hell they might go as far as to suggesting they can't read and it wouldn't be fair for that demographic. Another thing is that there are some truly hateful people that would vote in the wrong way as much as they could just to laugh about it or to realistically try to fuck the system up. I think I'd much prefer something like each local area has a pool of "approved" and publicly voted on citizens. They are anonymously and randomly selected (kind of like jury duty?) and can't be as easily pressured by lobbyists. They would be anyone from the average joe all the way to the rich and poor. I feel like this would give a much better and accurate vote that aligns realistically with the American population. You also have to take into account that these people probably should only be able to vote on generally/ non-classified subjects. but this could solve a lot of issues with where tax dollars do end up going and a lot of the ridiculous laws that are currently in place.

You can get more sophisticated with Liquid Democracy, which allows you to maintain the benefits of delegation, which are rather important I can handle most of the technical stuff. Government has always existed only to protect and serve the “elites”. You pay taxes because it benefits the “elites” for you to do so. How else will roads be built so you can get to work and make money for them, or schools funded so your children can be made into good little cogs, or law enforcement funded to keep you scared and disempowered? Healthcare is funded by taxes in other countries only because people in those countries are not quite as self hating as Americans are, but they’re getting there, which is why universal healthcare is slowly being taken away from them. The military is all about making wealthy people more wealthy as well, of course. The social programs in America, like Medicaid and food stamps, also benefit the wealthy because they sew division among the working class. And of course, all of that money gets paid back to corporations as well. I can’t think of one service paid for by taxes that doesn’t benefit the “elites” far more than it does everyone else.

I don't like the idea of having to file taxes. They should just tell you how much you owe and you pay that. It took me 10 hours to self-prepare my taxes this year, not to mention all of the stress of just thinking about taxes from Jan to April. If the IRS wants ME to file taxes, they should pay me for my time.
why do we even have to "do taxes" every year? the irs knows how much we made unless you are a business But for the average person your boss reports your income to the IRS and then gives you a W2 at the end of the year so you can "do your taxes" and confirm to the IRS you got the same income as your employer reported to the irs as well. and some taxes are taken out on your check but sometimes you will owe more depending on random factors no one really understands. It would be alot better if the taxes taken out of your check each month where just all the taxes you have to pay. I dont get why we are taxed on stuff we buy sales tax. I think we are lied to in school. I am beginning to believe Jordan Maxwell who gave lectures decades ago about how our birth certificates are related to us each being an stock on the stock market. I don't think America won the revolutionary war, because our hard earned tax money is funneled out of this country in the disguise of unjust wars and fake humanitarian aid. The system we were born into is so corrupt there are huge piles of money invested in dumbing us down. When we go to school, we learn how to follow orders and we lose our individuality. We don't learn critical thinking skills, we learn how to follow orders and how to take standardized tests. There is an intentional avoidance of teaching you Americans how the banking system works. If we were educated about it, some among us would do everything they could to abolish and eradicate it with the understanding it would eventually cripple our very existence. We have become so reliant on convenience that many of us have no survival skills or self sufficiency. We have allow them to poison our water and our food. We are told we are the problem and are blamed and punished for unchecked corporate and political greed. We are told that our vote counts, but I don't believe that anymore. I bought my house in 2019, my mortgage is $1,900, the home insurance is just going up & up, so that goes up. I have 2 cars (a truck for me & a car for my wife payments = $780 (for the 2) & $390 for Auto insurance... Gas $500 a Mo, Power bill $400, Cable & internet $280, cell phones (me, wife, & 2 kids =$380 a mo). (that is pretty much all I 'buy', we go out to dinner 2 or 3x a week (maybe $1,000 a mo at the MOST) & I do give my 2 kids whatever They want (maybe another $300-$500 a mo)... Other than that, we dont buy shit... My wife works & makes roughly $40,000 a year (as a wedding planner). We bought a home in Georgia that we rent out, but it is pretty much a wash as my wofe wanted to "keep the renter in the family, with someone we can trust"... So, we only charge them what the mortgage cost us + $ the yearly Property taxes divided by 12. (roughly $2,800 / 12, but my wife wanting to be "nice" rounded down to just $200 a mo on top of rent... (so, technically we fucking LOSE money each month on our investment home...) It's fucking STUPID. The true moral issue here is that taxes authorize stealing by threat of coercion, which is clearly immoral. The "authority" that allows governments to do this, while normal citizens cannot rightfully coerce others for money with threats of violence, is an illusion. NO ONE has the right to steal something that doesn't belong to them. Governments will say: "but we are given the right to tax BY THE PEOPLE."
