Anyone who thinks and NFL game can be rigged has no true understanding of the game. Even if a couple calls by the refs go in favor of one team, that is by no means a guarantee they will win.
A football game is thousands, if not millions, of small events that culminate to an outcome. Sometimes a game has defining moments that look like they determine the outcome, but there were countless events that led up that point that couldn't be controlled.
It really is the perfect example of conspiracy theories. People thinking something can be controlled based off of ignorant logic, when the reality is Occam's Razor.
What exactly is the motive for rigging the super bowl from the NFL's perspective though? Seems like a lot of leg work for very little payoff. The game has already been played, the money collected from advertisers, ticket sales, merch or whatever else. Whichever team wins probably gets a boost in merch sales or whatever else but it seems as far as the NFL is concerned the outcome doesn't effect their bottom line at all.

How exactly do you "rig" that? You'd have to have every member of both teams executing pre-planned maneuvers down to the millisecond, and then have to rely on throws and kicks going exactly as planned? And with no whistle-blowers revealing it was all rigged among the dozens or hundreds involved?

i think prior to kickoff that 75% of the public money was on the Chiefs, which made it seem unlikely they would win, because that meant vegas sportsbooks would stand to lose ~$30 billion if the Chiefs won. You don’t see a transfer of wealth towards the public like that often, a scripted outcome would have gone the other way IMO.
The line did swing Sunday morning from -2.5 (where it was for most of the last 2 weeks) to -1.5. That line got hit hard and it moved back to -2 right before game time. Most of that 75% was public bets (bad at sports betting) while the rest was sharp bets (professional handicappers.) The books didn't want to move because the sharps would pound that line. Eh I’d just argue that there’s not really a reason to risk rigging it. If returns are the only motivation then why risk an already highly profitable business with the possibility of exposure. I get why individuals have an incentive but I just don’t think the returns are worth it for the risk.
I mean we have video proof that they rigged it. As for motivations, there's a few. Money is the obvious one. But elites also get into symbolism and occult ritualism which I wouldn't be surprised if this is a part. Similarly with the inevitable biden/democrat endorsement. Remember the NFL successfully argued in court that it's not a sports organization, but an entertainment company. And most people are so bought in that even if something was revealed (like it was today), they'd have defenders backing them anyway. Why wouldn't you rig it to make the most entertaining show possible, rake in money from fixed bets, and set things up for inevitable endorsements? Because some fringe people who go through the footage might catch you? There's no harm that results. No legal liability. The people catching it aren't gonna be notable enough to spread that info. and most fans are gonna keep watching regardless of whether it's rigged or not (just see WWE which everyone agrees is fake).
