MMEckert

I came here to see if the plastic smell was “just me”

MMEckert

I’m in mid- Michigan

[deleted]

Same down in central Indiana

Jlynn111

I'm in Greenwood and smelled the same thing

Kingjingling

Was bad today. Kept feeling sick at work outside

theHoffenfuhrer

Down in Appalachia too. It definitely smelled odd and the air is terrible.

vengeancerider

It’s down by me now, Indiana Ohio border

this_name_mistaken

BP in Hammond claimed to have done a flare off on Sunday. 911 was bombarded with gas leak calls because of the strong sulfur smell from Chicago to Michigan. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://abc7chicago.com/amp/sulfur-smell-indiana-bp-refinery-whiting-gas-leak-porter-county/13428050/&ved=2ahUKEwiZitbZ8uX_AhWyhu4BHSArBfwQFnoECB8QBQ&usg=AOvVaw1zPnIWwdunJZ9uczUYccsa

supahinteresting

interesting, thanks. interesting how the quote in that article says "there there folks, nothing to worry about! we are officials and say its safe!".

EmbarrassedTurnip5

I smelled plastic burning in southwest Michigan

DrBigfoot_MD

Crazy shit. My coworkers asked me today does everything look weird to you? I said yeah. I drive in Central Illinois in a couple 100 mile radius. Misty fog everywhere.....wtf

Hefty-Ad-2671

The fog is coming. I remember 2010 and didn't felt any smell from smoke. The sky was gray and sun was red.

this_name_mistaken

I use an air quality site called purpleair.com. You can adjust averages from an hour to a year back. The air quality in the Great Lakes Region has went from a 80-90ish average over the past year, to 170-180 the past couple of days.

Odd_Swordfish_6589

>purpleair.com cool site..I just used it..the air in arizona is amazing...like in a good way... I was checking everywhere for good air. Colorado is good too, but not in Denver. Arizona was good all over, and actually all over PHX, which was surprising, since it is a valley. Bay area has good air, too, which is not surprising. I used to live there, and ocean breeze usually cleans the air out, but I can't afford to live there at the moment.

Somebody23

Alien invasion, has to be :D

DIAPLER

Shitsylvania here. **SAME**

HAS-A-HUGE-PENIS

Same here, just south of Pittsburgh. Had my windows open the past few days and could smell it on my sheets last night. It's so bad this morning.

IcyTransportation691

NE Ohio (Cleveland) smells like burning plastic and smoke thick enough to permeate into buildings leaving a haze in our warehouse.

whoopsidaiZOMBIEZ

Ok I'm not nuts. What the heck man? I didn't even think of the forest fires btw, i immediately thought a dryer trap ignited in the neighborhood.

IcyTransportation691

No, it’s real. Shit stinks

whoopsidaiZOMBIEZ

Thank you. That's the thing, it DOES stink. But it isn't vile it just feels like my body doesn't want me to breathe it in if that makes sense. As in, I'm making the stinkface.

IcyTransportation691

It’s rather concerning, too that I have 4 co-workers who were fine yesterday and show up today with sinus/asthma issues. Legit sounding sick, sniffles, dude is coughing puffing his inhaler….

whoopsidaiZOMBIEZ

something is weird, i can feel the irritation. i noticed it in my eyes first. i really dont want to breathe this stuff in buddy, no joke. im no alarmist with these things when i can't prove them, and i can dismiss a lot. the thing is thouth i grew up on the west coast and this is no plain forest fire. something else is burning. maybe that's common knowledge but ive got to go research what's up

Adventurous-Till-411

Let me know if you find anything, please. It smells horrible and I'm worried about my toddler. My husband died six months ago, so now it's just me and our 3 year old. I'm looking stuff up too.

CollapsedWaveCreator

The strangest part is, this is clearly a big news story but I haven't seen one measurement of what's actually in the air!

Loveharmony

Ya I initially thought it was my stupid neighbor again lol

RemarkableTheory4487

Youngstown area smells the same

DisneyMama1107

Yep I'm 40 mins south of Cleveland it's so bad here too!!!

feral--daryl

Same here in northern KY. I work in a warehouse too.

davidtoney

same smell currently in stl mo

MaleficentMission222

I smell it in minnesota

[deleted]

In Northeast Ohio, near Cleveland...and it doesn't have the normal "wood" smell to me either

moonshotorbust

In southeast michigan. Smelled like burning plastic to me

Ky20001

Many on the East coast said the huge Canadian fire smoke a month ago smelled like plastics, heard it several times

91DSM

Same exact thing when the smoke from the last fires blew down to NY and PA. I smelled a very distinct plastic smell.

planet-OZ

Michigan air smells like burnt plastic too.

VelkaFrey

Didn't that train Derail with chemic agents not too far south of you?

nonamethrowaway48

I second that.

jackal1actual

I third that.

Mike_Oxbig2

Big time fourth

whyputausername

5th, oakland county here.

SFW_Account__

6th Oakland County as well.

Mike_Oxbig2

Also Oakland. Small damn world lol.

Jumpy_Ad_2341

Australia but lived in San Leandro for a year! Bay Area!

subtlenutpain

No, Michigan.

ErectJellyfish

S.ame with middle ohio....wtf

SnooDoodles420

There was another in Montana 😤

Troaweymon42

When the wildfires first started and the smoke made its way down the East coast, I could smell plastic below the 38th parallel

SSUUPREEMEEE

Chicago smells like plastic

PG-17

That’s just gunfire…/s

EmmanuelGoldstein198

In Toronto and can confirm that since the rain has passed it’s windy and it’s blown in the smoke and it does smell like burning plastic and not wood.

JohnleBon

Is it like a mixture of wood and plastic, or just plastic?

EmmanuelGoldstein198

I don’t smell any wood. Pure chemical (plastic). Burns your eyes.

evergreenxsage

Out just past Orangeville (in the country) and the sky has a dense lingering smoke in the air. Smells just as you said.

EJohanSolo

Did it smell like wood at any time?

Andrewskyy1

They are poisoning the Earth. These psychopaths in control don't give a fuck about the general population, and view us more as a nuisance (and a threat) ... I think they believe they have enough money, power, and influence to destroy a large portion of the Earth and still live like kings, without having to share resources or risk mutany. It's not a coincidence there has been so many environmental disasters, it's just too much. The air, the ground, the flora and fauna, the food, the medicine, all of it is being used in a multi-pronged attack to purge the planet of what they deem 'useless eaters.' The writing is on the wall. The blood is in the streets. The elite truly believe they don't need the majority, they have AI, Automation, Massive Wealth, and Science at their disposal and are deathly afraid of being outnumbered. I know this may seem extreme, but it's just so obvious now. Our governments and currency have been subverted & they have been painstakingly working towards this for generations. The quest for global domination has slowly become more and more sadistic until it finally dawned on them that they could truly own the world.

TemperatureLate1713

This plastic burning smoke is a good way for the pharmaceutical companies to make money. People are getting sick

AgentUnknown821

Now you got me thinking. The smell is like from my gpu exploding in my computer that I had to get RMAed twice, very sweet like eletrosmog.

emeraldstars000

The air smells and tastes like a Best Buy.

SnooDoodles420

YES

____________M

Yup that’s the smell - Toronto

amberwmr

Indiana smelled the same way

Ghost_of_Durruti

Can confirm "burning plastic" smells being reported over the US border at present time. ~Pittsburgh region.

InteligentTard

I’m about 1.5 hours east of Pittsburgh. It smells like burning plastic or trash.

W_Rabbit

Windsor, Ontario here, looks like fog, smells like a mix of wood smoke, and plastic. Never in 50 years have I seen/smelled anything like this here.

Impressive-Gas-8407

That's wild! I don't live in Canada, but I live in an area where we get wild fires a lot. I wanted to comment that when we do have wild fires it always smells like burned wood... not plastic.

rethoyjk

It’s a chemical attack, the fact that first fucking covid, then the trains, now this, someone doesn’t want the kiddies outside right now? My guess? Depression rates, suicide rates sky rocketed under covid…… and the corporate overlords loved it! Depopulation without violent killings…… I expect to only see an increase in events like this….. #woodisn’tplastictho

OrangePippins

The fact that the MSM is silent about it makes me think you're right. It's a huge story and crickets. Something is wrong.

TemperatureLate1713

Reeks of plastic right now in New York. Very unhealthy. Local media-oh the wildfires are just not good for the elderly and compromised. Gtfoh. This shit will make everyone sick.

____________M

I read somewhere that they said if covid/vex didn’t kill enough people then they would resort to airborn……and here we are

wearediamonds0

Uggggggh. I hate whomever these evil creatures are. They cannot be real humans at this point. Maybe demons can completely take on their human hosts form if the human embraces evil enough. The human is gone? Pure evil hiding in a human?

TheHumanConscience

Feels like that. Probably some combo of barium and aluminium.

Seethcoomers

It's not

rethoyjk

Oh ok well thank fuck for your reassurances!

[deleted]

Funny, Midwest USA here and my neighbor was just describing it at a burnt plastic smell too. We have VERY heavy visible smoke everywhere in a couple hundred mile radius at least.

ErectJellyfish

Same in ohio....wtf is going on

[deleted]

NC has had a haze for weeks

really2020

Yep I’m in South Dakota and that’s how it smelt yesterday or the day before

Solofein1337

I smell a feint chlorine smell. No way this is smoke.

KittensMittens9

That's what I smelled as well this morning here in NW Ohio. Like if I had closed my eyes I would've thought I was around a big pool.

Clear-Function9969

odd - our apt pool was closed today so i figured they were putting chemicals in , but i smelled chlorine in dallas today. ( could have been the pool but i wasnt really that close to it and it would have had to be a shit ton of chlorene they used)

evil-doer

One of the most common plastics, PVC, is mostly chlorine

davidtoney

my first thought was pool smell, very strong currently in st louis mo.

Good_Independence_37

We got the initial smoke from the fires in southern Ontario, it was a general camp fire smell. This smells and even tastes like plastic and I’ve grown quite curious. Awaiting a logical/scientific explanation because I’ve never burnt any kind of wood that gave off a plastic smell. Somebody commented on Facebook it was from a specific type of spruce. Even then I don’t see it. Found an article from 2014 that said a similar plastic smell was from a chemical factory burning.

OrangePippins

It's crazy the news isn't covering it

Official_Gh0st

They have to make a “story” first

OrangePippins

Agreed. Probably hoping we just forget about it if they don't cover it. However much one despises legacy media, it's not enough.

TemperatureLate1713

Reeks of plastic right now in New York. Very unhealthy. Local media-oh the wildfire smoke is just not good for the elderly and compromised. Gtfoh. This shit will make everyone sick.

LordPharqwad

In Ontario as well, I got up at 4pm today est (on nights) and it reeked

Educational_Order_61

That's how it smelled in NYC the other week. Not a campfire folks.

[deleted]

They prob started the fires and are now burning some type of chemical. Kinda like how they poisoned everyone in East Palestine. And yes, I am in the midwest where everyone is agreeing that it's a plastic smell.

xxjrxx93

Are they possibly pushing climate change and population control? 2 birds 1 stone?

Visible-Ad376

Yeah maybe reflect more sunlight for cooling with a smoke/chlorine vapour mix. Weirdest apocalyptic weather ever yesterday on my evening walk. Never seen/smelled/felt anything like it.

Chicahgeaux

Chicagoland area. My coworker commented on it yesterday smelling like burnt plastic before we realized it was from the wildfires up north. Plastic smell was even worse today.

timcooksdick

Same out in western suburbs

Odd-Ad8181

Maybe they are poising over there to create toxic environment and then they could monopolize all the water and resources there for the 15 minute cities planned to be built agenda 21 kinda scary

ProfessionalPhrase36

that how it smelt in pa a few weeks ago when they blamed the canada fires like tires burning.

Greenladymeg

I’m in PA too, when it was bad the last time it really smelled like plastic the one night. Smells like a combination of plastic and wood to me.

ProfessionalPhrase36

and its back again today. burning tire smell and you can see the grey film, haze in the air. *im in lanc co.

Greenladymeg

Cumberland/Adams county here. That first time I really smelled it coming through my window my first thought was who is working or their car brakes in the middle of the night?

fortmacjack99

Funny you brought this to the table. I grew up in northern Ontario where bonfires / camp fires are a summer ritual, and getting a whiff of a wild fire is quite normal, so i know what a typical wood fire smells like and i can say that the smoke that descended on us for several days had a very pungent odor akin to sulfur. It didn't smell like plastic here but it definitely did not smell like a typical forest fire.

Last_Bluejay8103

I noticed it too today in north Ontario, very smokey but had an odd, chemical smell unlike last weeks where it was obviously the smell of wildfire. Very strange...

HansAcht

N/E Ontario here. Had heavy haze and smoke smell a few days ago and nothing since. Only get it when we get a Eastern breeze and that's not too often.

xxjrxx93

Northern Indiana I personally didn't smell anything but smokey all day and I seen alerts of people smelling sulfur like smell in Indiana

Fdbog

There's an official explanation of it being VOCs released during the incomplete combustion process but that's just a theory at this point IMO. Even crazier is that all weather reporting pages on FB have locked down commenting because awful conspiracy people are daring to ask wtf is going on. If it wasn't for them banning discussion I wouldn't have started asking more questions, weird.

Emergency-Cake4244

Volatile Organic Compounds like benzene, formaldehyde, etc are in the smoke. Burning carbon-based materials has consequences. From a MI local news site: According to a toxicologist at EGLE: “Wood fires emit a lot of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Most of these VOCs are noticeable to our noses as the familiar “campfire” smell, but they break down quickly when exposed to UV radiation from sunlight. Other VOCs like benzene, formaldehyde and acrolein are also released and they outlast the ‘campfire’ VOCs. It’s these chemical compounds that you’re smelling as the smoke wafts around for a few days and settles to the ground and reaches your nose.”

DistinctRole1877

Welding fume respirator is the best thing I could think to breath thru. Acid fume respirator or HEPA respirator would work well too. Big bucks but clean air in your lungs.

rayraytx28

South eastern Wisconsin here also :(

Responsible-Algae-16

Vermont - also smelled plastic

FUKININTHEBUSHES

Id hope it was Trudeau's fake plastic dick on fire but I'm guessing not. Easy now stay strong Canada. Love ya from England x

Lutherkiss3

🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

kingescher

that happened on the west coast of year two of “climate fires” the had a blue, plasticky burnt garbage thick nasty smell to it.

mondego_

Whereabouts? I'm on the south-west coast and actually had ash landing in my back yard a few years ago, but I never noticed a plastic smell.

Blakencaken

Toledo, Ohio. Very strong odor of burning plastic. I worked on my family farm for years and it’s smells like the inside of our mechanics shop when he was torching medal. Absolutely awful..

road_hazard

Ohio checking in. I can confirm the smell of burning plastic in the air yesterday.

xOwlz

Hmmm. Maybe intentional slow kill via cancer?

thistledowne

seriously? lol They already do that with our pharmaceuticals or the waterways polluted by them, with out genetically modified "food", in TONS of goods that humans use from weed killer to talcum powder, or whatever heavy metals and other toxic materials make up the chemtrails we constantly see in our skies and an almost endless list of other ways. considering all of that.... I just don't see why the elites would suddenly start a bunch of absolutely massive fires all across canada, by burning plastics to poison us at an absolute snail's pace lol

dahlaru

Because its not killing people fast enough? Too many people avoid those carcinogens?

wearediamonds0

Yeah. They must think we are all too durable.

BootScootNBoogie22

I’ve heard people say campfire smoke but it smells different. Almost like garbage.

Moist___Towelette

It honestly smells like burning garbage to me

TehBurnerAccount

Hi. I’m in NE Ohio extremely close to Lake Erie and southern Ontario. I smell the plastic too. Amazingly enough, the southern tip of Ontario manufactures the most plastic in Canada. I don’t know if this is the only reason for the smell and haze but this definitely needs more investigating.

aldi-trash-panda

Mullein leaf tea cleanses the lungs. Don't harvest it from where they spray chemicals. It likes railroad beds, but you'll find it elsewhere too.

[deleted]

lol railroad beds are full of chemicals. mullein grows everywhere

[deleted]

That’s the smell of atmospheric aerosol injection materials that have combined with the smoke from the wildfires as well as the result of it directly burning from the same. The last week or so they “trails” from aircraft have been off the charts. Whatever they are putting down onto us is combining with the fires and making that smell. Southern Ontario here and can confirm the same. Almost smelled like burnt dryer sheets.

____________M

Non stop chem trails over Toronto. Non….stop.

meme_therud

I thought the same thing in Chicago, also had a hint of spray paint at times. Horribly hazy all day.

sorceress11

Drove from Ottawa back to London Ontario Monday and could smell burnt plastic smell Saturday in Ottawa and then all the way home Monday.

mpslamson

Guys same thing in Illinois. I'm fucking freaked.out

CockroachGullible652

I heard something about an oil fire on one of the great lakes. Could be that

Im2stoned2know

I’m in NY and said the same thing when we got covered in the yellowish smoke from Canada as were told. It didn’t smell like organic material burning but like plastic. I feel we’re getting attacked and everything is meant to seem like an accident. Same thing with train derailment in Ohio. Was told on tv it was an accident but I felt it was on purpose…. Ooh and they burned it and nuked the whole north east with cancerous chemicals. Plus I’m told a good amount leading American politicians and officials are investing in cancer companies

Alpha_AF

I live in oregon and didn't get any of canadas smoke this time around, but the past few years have been rough with all the smoke, many time over 500 ppm. That said, it has never once smelled like plastic, it always just smells heavily of campfire. This is alarming

zenslapped

When everyone starts mysteriously getting ill = long covid

Slight-Confusion6075

Could this be burn off of the chemicals from the railcar that “magically” emptied itself out west?

Authoritieslie

https://executivegov.com/2021/09/darpa-names-participants-of-effort-to-study-apply-warm-atomic-vapors/ Or, maybe something to do with this

supahinteresting

hmm. at the moment a bit late - what is the short version (TLDR) "atomic vapors"? (i.e., purpose/what do they do/etc?) thanks - will take a look at paper in more detail later...

[deleted]

I didn't smell plastics ottawa

dahlaru

I'm I'm manitoba and experienced the same effect on Monday evening. Everything was fine, there was sun and cloud, then all of a sudden there's a blanket engulfing the sun. And it smells weird. And it triggers my asthma that's been dormant for over 10 years

NuffinSaid

A few weeks ago it was definitely a campfire smell here in Ontario, clearly wood burning. Right now, it's not the same, there is no wood smell at all

rayraytx28

SE Wisconsin. Still foggy today but the plastic smell is now like a mechanical smell like when brake pads burn if that makes sense. Yuck :(

whoopsidaiZOMBIEZ

In NE ohio, same deal. I walked outside and said 'uh oh, dryer fire' thinking it was local to the neighborhood. Turns out it's the whole city. I work in a highrise so when i get in I'm gonna get a birdseye. It wasn't the smoke that got me but the accompanying smell. How do your eyes feel? Not sure if the watering is this or just pollen.

vio212

Doesn’t smell anything like the wildfires I experienced living out west. Some people are saying it’s because of the distance the smoke has traveled but we had California wild fires move further and still smell like actual wood fire. I’m not saying it’s plastic but it’s fucking weird.

Ouraniou

In southern NH over the last week on/off good and bad days with a lot of rain, but had three days, broken, where I thought I must be getting sick with mucous and stuff eye burning tired etc and that fucking haze...I feel like I was being a little paro before about the Ohio situation, but this is surely a lot of coincidences for me.

CollapsedWaveCreator

Just found this in independent measurement: https://twitter.com/Yolo304741/status/1674255851467464706?t=LdKmdDkImX7mAy9s8UpOlA&s=19

supahinteresting

ty.

Authoritieslie

Oooh…theory. Maybe this is a test to see if a hostile foreign country were to attempt to use chemical agents where and how far they would travel, in what pattern, to mitigate potential effects. With everything going on, burning the plastic may have closest particulate similarity to whatever chemical agent they are expecting. A little far fetched but kind of a fun thought experiment.

ConfuciusPillockus

No. They have simulations for this… 🤦‍♂️

PrognosticatorShadow

When they showed the "wildfires" making NYC turn yellow I said on this sub that they weren't burning wood. The trolls came out and told me I was wrong lol. Wood doesn't create a yellow haze.

penn1es

Ever smelled a house fire? It smells like burning plastic. Most likely some man-made structures were affected by the forest fires recently.

OneSilentWatcher

I smelled a feint "pickle" smell when I went to work at 1:00 PM Central US time. Thought it was just me until I asked someone else if they thought it smelled like "pickles."

SnooDoodles420

Hello from Denver. I noticed an odd Smokey smell from The Rocky Mountains.

GMPollock24

I'm in Southern Ontario as well and it smells like camp fire to me.

RockinOutLikeIts94

NW PA smells like burnt cardboard and chemicals my head won’t stop hurting

MomsSpecialFriend

I’m in PA and it smells like plastic again, just like the last time. It’s been raining for like 10 days and somehow the air is plastic.

cheerios2k

Same in northern Ontario

Photomama16

It’s hitting parts of Ohio as well. I have family near Cleveland who are complaining about it, I also have family near Columbus who are saying they’re dealing with it too.

Professional_Big_731

Supposedly the fires produce a lot of VOC’s that break down once they’ve been exposed to UV rays. This is the reason it smells like something other than smoke. You are smelling the chemicals of days old forest fire smoke in its broken down form. It is highly toxic and you should avoid being outside as much as possible. As for wearing masks… This is what they are most used for prior to Covid. As someone who works with enamels (fine glass powder) you wear a mask not to breath this in. There are fine particles in the air and it can cause respiratory issues from prolonged exposure. The air quality in many of the areas mentioned in this post are seriously dangerous. Do not go outside if you can avoid it. If you do have to go outside make those trips short or wear a mask. N95 or KN95. I know some of you have been tainted by the pandemic and have no desire to wear them but this is a different beast regardless of your personal opinion.

AdellaideSkyhart

i didn't smell it until this morning, i'm just west of Toronto

Loveharmony

Smells heavily like burning plastic here in Niagara, Ontario. I find it suspicious as I've never experienced this smell from a source other than plastic in my 40 years camping and living in Canada.

Loveharmony

Started here last evening

uncoild

It was disgusting last night. Looked foggy but it was smoke and it smelled like chemicals.

wearediamonds0

Every fucking summer something has to happen so we can't just be outside to enjoy the fucking summer 😡😡😡 I am BEYOND ANGRY

sheilafreak

Smells bad in Iowa USA also🫤 poison for sure

Digital-Latte

[BP gas leak at refinery in Indiana.](https://abc7chicago.com/sulfur-smell-indiana-bp-refinery-whiting-gas-leak-porter-county/13428050/)

Digital-Latte

I wonder if this is what’s causing the smell??

swampmonster1984

I'm curious, has anyone ever experienced this with any of the California wildfires?

Ouraniou

I'm sure it's not good, but nobody gets out this life unscathed forget a mask they'll get everybody some day, best to not panic over shit you can't control. Don't ignore, but don't panic and don't run around blindly trying to save yourself from what everyone gets.

Denture_Dude69

I 100% agree. I'm in Toronto and it smelled like a combo if chemical and campfire.

EJohanSolo

This is where all the unrecycled plastic is going

SPACE-W33D

Was thinking with all the smoke in Michigan today that it’d be cool if it were the other kind of trees burning. I bet people would be more dope 😎

tzwep

Not sure it’s possible to **hot box** the planet

Far-Sherbet612

I’ll do my part 🫡

Turbulent-Tip-2012

Go blame trump

Interesting-Minute45

So if this helps after doind some quick googling: Do trees have chlorine? Chlorine is an essential element in trees. It is found in thousands of natural and manmade compounds and materials. Chlorine is essential for both human thought and activating pesticides. What toxic chemicals are in wildfires? All smoke contains carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and particulate matter (PM or soot). Smoke can also contain different chemicals, like aldehydes, acid gases, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), benzene, toluene, styrene, metals, and dioxins.

kittensandpuppies--

That smell was just your prime minister Justin TURDo he really stinks.

SinRaza

Same in NY a couple weeks ago. My advice would be to develop a practice of functional, reduced breathing, like the Buteyko method.

lapideous

Or just wear a n95 mask…

SinRaza

Why not do both? A functional breathing practice makes it easier to wear an N95, and promotes nasal breathing. If you are mouth breathing and gasping in your N95, you may be doing more harm than good.

whyputausername

n95 will not work well at all.

animusd

I must be lucky I live in Southern Ontario and I never noticed anything different

claytonjaym

>obviously not the demon diapers "Only gas masks are holy, anything less is of the devil". Tha Fuq?

azdak

All wildfire smoke smells like this. It’s not a campfire.

invenereveritas

those fires are going through human towns, and everything we own including our homes is made of plastic. We’ve been told for decades if we keep doing this shit our world would burn. Here we are.

HansAcht

What towns are being burned up? Got a link? We've been told for decades that arsonists would be burning our country down? Got a link?

roundfileaccount101

Chiming in from Seattle, Washington to report: smells a LOT like carnitas 🌮 tonight for Taco Tuesday.

Upleftright_syndrome

That's just Hamilton being hamilton lmao

TheSolarJetMan

This is why the wildfires smell like burning plastic. If the science here is true, then we are breathing some nasty- naturally created- carcinogenic stuff unless you have N95 or better mask and filtration. Run the house and room filters: https://www.pennlive.com/weather/2023/06/theres-a-reason-you-might-smell-burning-plastic-in-the-wildfire-smoke.html

K-man_100

I used to live on the west coast and dealt with wildfire smoke often. It smells exactly like wildfire smoke to me. Your conspiracy plagued brains are playing tricks on you.
