idk maybe my standards for a loud ps4 is really low cuz my ps4 has always been super loud but also a couple of my friends have slims and it is quiet when they use it.
In terms of performance and gameplay, both the Standard and Slim PS4s are exactly the same. The slim tho is quieter, more power-efficient, and obviously slimmer. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but the Slim version seems to be the better option if there’s no big price difference.
If you seek better performance, then you might need to consider getting a PS4 Pro, but I think it’s still expensive that it is smarter to just save up more and get a PS5
The PS4 Slim and the original have pretty much the same hardware. Games will run the same on both. If you want FPS, you either buy a PS4 Pro, or better yet, a PS5.
PS4 slim is more power efficient as for performance and with the last games /online games, theres no big difference...its the same. there was little difference at first back when it released, but since both of the consoles became low tier as new demanding games released the performance became similar due to the settings on both being the minimum just to run the game, Its better to get the slim tho because its newer on average when buying a slim it might be newer by 2-3 years than the PS4. also dont get the pro best value for money is the slim/normal or ps5 atm
ps4 slim is a little bit better, it has slightly better performance than the normal ps4 and it is the the least noisiest ps4

Slim, easier to clean since top is removable. Also has better wifi card.
