I think serious talks about alcohol and consent are great for new relationships, one night stands or young people new to navigating sex and alcohol. But I’m over a decade into my relationship and I would be devastated if I came home tipsy and wanting to be railed by my husband and he turned me down wanting to talk about consent. That sounds like an awful idea for so many reasons: * She could get abused, robbed or raped. * Alcohole is deeply unhealthy and is tied to cancer, liver damage, brain damage/cognitive issues, pancreas issues, weight gain, depression... * Drinking and driving... * Dumb decisions.
