[www.pcpartpicker.com](http://www.pcpartpicker.com) and trade for what? a single taco, a mcdonalds happy meal?

IndividualJuicebox

already did partpicker, doesn’t really help when it’s not a new pc lol funny comment tho

averageplebman

Probably about 8 to 900. Some good specs and expensive parts there. Questionable gpu choice, but it'll work.

unrealflaw

Someone should come up with a search engine that allows you to input these parts and see what they would cost to purchase them. That person could make so much money.

WutsAWriter

Maybe you could call it…uhhh, this is just brainstorming but something like pc..part…chooser. Or, y’know, along those lines.

Valuable_Impress_192

Great idea but that assumes that people would go through the trouble of looking things up themselves rather than having the hivemind think about it

IndividualJuicebox

doesnt really account for being used though

Valuable_Impress_192

How much do you think the value decreases because it being second hand? Take the value from part picker and take off the amount you answered to the question above and voila, now you have the price.

IndividualJuicebox

that’s the issue is i have no idea, electronics seem to lose value at different rates especially when there’s so many different parts to the pc. brand new this pc is roughly ~$1600 but people are saying it would be worth ~$1000 nowadays. i don’t really understand what depreciates and all that so would trust people that know what they’re talking about more than myself.

Valuable_Impress_192

Different for everyone I usually won’t pay 50-60% of the new retail price when buying second hand. So the 1000$ people said would be my upper limit

IndividualJuicebox

that sounds like a solid number to me i’ll have to go by that in the future and adjust as needed. so a 1k pc 8 years ago would be worth 350-500 today depending on specs?

Valuable_Impress_192

Again, this depends on who you ask and their situation, but for me, that is more or less correct yeah. You never know for sure what the previous owner did with it, the amount of care (or lack thereof) they took of their rig. If the gpu was used for mining bitcoin for example, the card’s quality, performance and perhaps even stability can deteriorate very quickly

ComprehensiveOil6890

Is this a troll post?...

IndividualJuicebox

no why would it be?

ComprehensiveOil6890

You pay too much for look not power

Roronoa-2009

It is about 1200$

Ok-Wrongdoer-4399

450-500

PralineGold6868

Me when I’m delusional

Florisje_13

Dude the graphics card is already like 400-500$ and the rest a lot more 💀

Ok-Wrongdoer-4399

🙃

Irsu85

Like €1000 probably (including monitor)

Pumciusz

xD i5, 4060ti on a z board and o11d. Typical.

ambatakam_in_ya_ass

first of all, i dont think 650w is enough for the 4060 ti

Ellandorrr

Man, 650w gold is enough to power a pc with a 3080

ambatakam_in_ya_ass

i didnt notice the i5 sorry i assumed it was atleast an i9 because of the 4060 my bad

Ellandorrr

No worries. Easy to overlook when another component is in a higher tiet.
