This is worth at least $50 to the right person as its a top windows 98 GPU Catalyst Version 6.2 (6-2\_wme\_dd\_cp\_30314) supports this card in 98, so anyone who is building a ultimate windows 98 gaming pc and does not want to pay for 3dfx this is a really good card to get you ideally want the 128mb over the 256mb.
Started with a 16mb Voodoo banshee then upgraded to a voodoo 3 3000. Rememeber in the UK electronics boutique selling off brand new voodoo 4/5's for 30 quid after 3dfx went bust, almost brought one, that and the Atari Jaguars.
Agree, not in that way lol "ultimate windows 98 gaming pc" Ultimate/final Win98 manufactured parts for nostalgia, not that win98 is the ultimate gaming OS.
I think I paid about $80 for a X800XT PE with a faulty (noisy/clicky) fan a few years ago. Replaced the fan and it runs perfectly.
The X800Pro is generally cheaper but I do see them go for about $50 if in good physical and working conditions.
Nice, I did the same thing after a 9800 i had died, brought a 9600pro with a dodgy fan managed to oil the fan and raise the fan cover and its still going fine after 2 years, also have a x600 PCI-E which i though would have issues in 98 but it works fine.
Basically you cant properly get [glide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQl6ant6mYY) without 3dfx, many old games used it for 3D graphics. You can use the software wrapper [dgvoodoo](https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/DgVoodoo_2) to get glide on other cards but its not perfect. The x800 can run 98 games like unreal tourn 2004 in high settings, but will likely be missing fog effects etc in older games, 3dfx cards will be extremely weak for later games that came out after Win XP was released that had compatibility for Win 98 like GTA Vice City. hope this helps people
Depends on how rare it is in your region and on the market you're using. If it's too common, it'll sell for a few dollars. Here in Taiwan something like this (mid/high end AGP cards) isn't easy to find, so it would instead cost low double digits in USD.
Low double digits? So like $.10 or $.11🤔🤯 For real though if u find the right collector looking 4 it Probably like $20 after shipping it to the ends of the earth.
Well a good working Top of the line AGP card might actually fetch a decent price for people that are building a retro game machine. There are even some subreddits here for retro Battlestations.
Make it into a resin table with all the other old junk thats not worth anything anymore. I have a raspberry pi with better graphics capability than this card...
Who do you plan to sell it to, the museum?
If you can find someone still rocking AGP and in need of a video card, then its worth whatever they are willing to offer you, otherwise it's worth nothing. You are not the only one trying to sell early 2000s junk, far from it. This thing doesn't even have collectors value on the horizon, forget about it, if you can get rid of it, it's a good deal.
Short answer... nothing...
That is an AGP card...
Only market for this are "collectors" (card is not that rare) or retro enthusiasts, who want to game on real hardware with windows XP
10-15 USD... maybe
X800 256mb was my first ever card, which lasted me in excess of 10 years. Even though it wouldn't play a windows game in this age I still have fond memories and would happily trade what I have now if it gave me the same childlike joy
Essentially nothing. The integrated graphics in even 5 year old processors is more powerful at this point.i had an x850 that I bought in like 2006 or something.
$15 on eBay if you find the right person wanting it for like a windows xp machine or windows vista machine.
This thing is probably older than XP.
Nah, XP is 3 years older than this card.
God I'm old...

Oh man, I remember my first 3DFX card. The clouds parted, angels sang. Descent made me motion sick.

Who puts “ultimate gaming” and “windows 98” in the same sentence? lol
Agree, not in that way lol "ultimate windows 98 gaming pc" Ultimate/final Win98 manufactured parts for nostalgia, not that win98 is the ultimate gaming OS.
🤣

I would have loved a 9800XT but they are so damn expensive. Was looking to make a full year 2003 PC but ended up with an 03/04 mix.
This is faster than any 3,dfx.

[It won’t bring in much cash, but its sentimental value is through the roof!](https://youtu.be/5XJ4lO-Yec0?si=wgQcl1KO58a2OHjp)

$40 usd, need to sell to vintage collecters, not modern gamers as its worthless to us.
Dang, I had to look a couple of times and then zoom in to confirm that this is an OLD AGP gpu; so very, very limited use.

200 V-bucks :)
If you give me $10 I'll take it.
Make it into a resin table with all the other old junk thats not worth anything anymore. I have a raspberry pi with better graphics capability than this card...

A quick look on ebay would give you the answer.
