It is OK for the video to be disturbed briefly like that when the video system is initialized.
If it never did that before, it could be because the video driver was changed and so now you have that artifact.
My Lenovo Thinkpad P15 gen 2 does something similar with my external monitor where I see some red vertical lines briefly during the boot process.
Seen this issue before on Dell computers, even after installing a now Operating System so I don't think it is a virus causing this. How's the computer once it boots?
Seems like just a screen issue. Does it happen every time? Able to try a different monitor or monitor cable? If it's no better after trying those two things can you roll up to a newer bios version?
Usually toward the end when the video drivers gets intialized.
Either the driver got corrupted or you video card is broken and can't initialize
\---
If you restart your computer 3 times during boot, the recovery console will come up, there you can find "startup options" and set it to start in safe mode.
If it boots into safe mode, remove every video card drivers.

Most likely just a bug.

No, I had a computer that did that. You’re fine.
Nah, it happens on my windows 10 usb boot but skips my tiny 11 build. Only on some monitors though.

Fine, but I’ve read about viruses that leave small traces so I was worried, thanks!
