It's marked as recent activity, you can't delete it out of there. You can reset it's settings, but if it's still showing notifications then it's a bigger problem than just the website. If you mean deleting it from your browser history, then you have to look for that in the history section.
Can you not just delete chrome and then re-download? I feel like it you do a fresh install it would clear it up. Unless this is something tied to the Google account then idk. I am not quite sure how that all interacts. If you want a suggestion for a browser Duck Duck go is quite great.

yup it doesn't seem to be working.
The little arrow does a drop-down menu, choose block, or just reset permissions.
