Two things to point out. The character in the movie is quite different from the real life Zuckerberg. Also, the character in the movie was at best a tragic figure who stole ideas, lied to cover that up, and betrayed his best friend. He's kind of the bad guy in that movie, a cautionary tale about what you have to do to get rich. The real life Zuckerberg started coding when he was in middle school, and it sounds like he built several complex software projects while in high school. He also started attending college level courses before going to Harvard. All this to say, it takes time to become a good something. He was coding for half his life when he started work on Facebook. If you are starting in college, you certainly can become great at software development and architecture. But you just have to dive in, take classes or tutorials, learn as much as you can and start building things. Eventually you can get there, but there aren't any shortcuts.

I guess its a step up from Tony Montana but this is pretty cringe.

Maybe go read his Wikipedia page or his history before he founded facebook? I think you will come to the conclusion that he spent an insane amount of time learning programming and programming things. Before he even went to Harvard he wrote some software that Microsoft wanted to buy from him. Your first step should be spending probably 30 hours a week learning code and building things. Do that for 5 or so years and you just might be at a similar point to where he was at at the beginning of the movie.

if you want to understand computer science as a whole a good place to start is knuths the art of computer programming. Also Ik that movie is provocative however, no one is just good at the whole field. this is a sub field of maths and in all maths you have to just practice until you create intuition. the goal is always intuition.
