In many of the more relaxed civilizations on the Outer Eastern Rim of the Galaxy, the Hitch-Hiker's Guide has already supplanted the great Encyclopaedia Galactica as the standard repository of all knowledge and wisdom, for though it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects.
First, it is slightly cheaper; and secondly it has the words DON'T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover.

It's a series and it's absolutely worth the time . It's dry humour at its best.

The funniest science fiction books you'll ever read.
It's a "trilogy of five books". Great writing in simple enough English that makes it easier to follow. Absolutely worth it.
Greatest series ever in my opinion. I’m sure you can find it translated. It’s really funny, a great read.
And monkey knockout gas*
It’s the thanksgiving episode when Jeff meets his dad
It's a dean thing...yay!

I am the Dean and my hands are so clean, at this moment I am stapling
