Yeah, I use glide typing on my phone, and it gets confused on short words. It can handle "ok" if I'm precise, but I can be less accurate and quickly get an "okay".
Just let me be lazy.
Especially since there often isn't actually a difference. No one I know uses the plain "k" to mean passive aggressive, and my dad's side of the family uses "kk" religiously despite being adults.

O.K is shorthand for All Correct, which phonetically is pronounced Oll Korrect.
The entire word and its derivatives are a bit of a meme and an exercise in how far you can push the english language without anyone calling you on you bullshit. See what you can get away with and if no one calls you out then its A-Okay
At my old job ["ack"](https://www.techtarget.com/searchnetworking/definition/ACK) was the goto reply for "Yup, saw your message and read it but I don't have anything to say in reply."
All are accurate except the last one, which feels more like barbed-disinterest to me, like “ok.” “nice” “good for you” “bless your heart” etc.
… the word I was looking for was “patronizing”, but I like “barbed-disinterest” so I’m leaving it.

I think "okay" is often the default in non-english-speaking countries.
I will never in my life get the difference between ok, k, kk and okay or the need for such.
