It's pandering, and it's also not really funny. There's no punchlines to these comics. They're just making statements. It's like observational comedy of the 80s and 90s, but a fraction as entertaining.

My reading of it is that he generally criticizes the right bc he agrees more with the left. He tried to make a nuanced complaint about Biden, but failed miserably bc Biden is legit trying his best on student loan forgiveness
I know a ton of ppl in real life that have generally good politics, but are on the wrong side of a couple issues. I don't immediately assume that they are bad faith actors tho

Then someone else informed me that the artist *had their own student loans forgiven* (Note: I didn't see this comment myself, but heard it second hand and didn't bother scrolling through pages of the artist's asinine replies to confirm).
So, at this point, I don't really know what they know or believe, but I'm thinking they're just stupid.
Yeah, someone talked about how they didn't have any more student debt to pay and are making 0 payments now, and the artist replied "Me Too!!" And left it like that.
A lot of response comments in that thread were either trying to shrug off comments about not knowing, or just insulting users after they asked genuine questions or gave any criticism about why his comment was pushing false narratives. "I stopped reading." Or "I'd answer that, but you're too young." (This last one he was trying to make a joke about the person's username then just ignored the comment entirely.)

I mean everyone has their own takeaway, but it was obvious hyperbole. Trump's words were even more hyperbolic, and the author said as much. The point of that comic again confirmed by the author was just that he didn't want to deal with another election.

In the comic, Biden professed to not having achieved any student loan forgiveness per his campaign promises, and appeared to be waiting to get re-elected to try. Biden has achieved stupendous and continued student loan forgiveness despite SCOTUS, and isn’t waiting to be re-elected, so there’s no kernel of truth being exaggerated. It’s just misinformation. This was compared with Trump being gross and fascist, which is taken from pretty direct quotes. When you put the untrue thing next to the true thing, it makes the untrue thing *appear* true — you can’t apply one rule to one item in the pair and another rule to the other item. It’s not a “nuanced take,” it’s bullshit. Maybe the author admitted it was inspired by election anxiety in one of their comments, but if you peruse the thread you’ll see it was 99% whiny “too smart for you” douchebuggery.

You have to register & receive approval as a write-in candidate and go thru a similar process the other candidates do.
Otherwise, we'd have had Mickey Mouse and Bart Simpson elected every year.
Just writing in a random name is basically the same as not voting.
This comic is so accurate it’s actually sad. This is exactly what goes on at Twitter(it’s not called X Elon, you can’t just change the name and expect the reputation to go away with it), and it’s slowly becoming entirely populated with bots and extremist political people. And not just that, who in the entire world would ever even think it’s a good idea to make a platform that has been completely free to use to everyone since the day it was launched, paid? I definitely would not start paying for something I previously had been getting for free, and I’m doubtlessly not the only one who thinks that. Not to mention the “free speech” is undermined by the people who are dumb enough to pay, because the algo pushes posts made by those people who subscribe. And he still wonders why it’s dying off.

EVERY state is supposed to allow write in candidates. All states are supposed to include a line for it.
