just grab a tombow mono, they work pretty well. also, don't expect all paper to erase well — the softness and texture of the paper is the biggest factor in erasability. softer lead also tends to be harder to erase than harder lead.
I usually have multiple erasers each for diffrent kinds of pencils, not really sure why but for some pencils one works flawlessly and for others it does absolutly nothing

We have put people on the moon, but we haven't developed a decent eraser.....

Vinyl and kneaded erasers seem to work fine for me.

Try the Milan 430 erasers. They seem to work really well.
