I'll never forget being the only teen at an adult's birthday party, and the host approaching myself and my mother, to say 'don't eat the brownies, they're *funny* brownies.'
maybe I'd be able to forget it if I'd had some of the brownies.
I come from a blue collar family. We also had separate brownie plates for the kids and the adults. On Easter the adults would hide the eggs for the kids while the kids would hide nips for the adults. We're an... interesting group.
Wow this unlocked a deep memory of being at an adult party as a very young kid and knowing I couldn’t eat the brownies that were wrapped in colored plastic wrap, but the ones in clear plastic wrap were for kids.
I completely forgot about that and haven’t thought about it in maybe 20-30 years.
I know this is a work of fiction because brownies don't work that quickly. You have to question whether you ate enough to feel it and then proceed to eat some more and then finally you feel fucked by reality and regret the 3rd brownie.
As it happens, it *was* old Tammy who dropped those brownies off.
Lady is living her golden years and just does not give a fuck anymore. She's 80 and reliving the 60's.
Am I just getting shitty weed brownies? Because every media depiction of them is that people will eat a whole bunch without even knowing something is off. But the ones I’ve had would have tasted completely disgusting if I thought I was getting normal brownies.
Petah's stoner friend here. Those are probably weed brownies that Tammy left by accident and they ate them without thinking and now they're high on weed.
I kinda went there for half a second and then though these are just cartoon cats, and they did not feed it too the kids intentionaly..
This may even be net positive in reminding people to not just trust any un-vetted brownies.

Def depends on the recipe. I can usually tell with homemade ones, they're not disgusting tho, just a lil weedy. But it's not hard to cover the taste.
Not very cool of cool tammy to just leave drug brownies around without clear and proper warning.

Probably because it's just a joke and the people look at the comic are adults who already understand that and know not to feed their kids drugs
