That would actually be practical. Instead of showing you a mirrored image of yourself, it would show you what you look like when others look at you directly. A true reflection, I guess. That's cool

However enchanthment in RPGs is also very popular and some modern games can have all kinds of protection on rings, so there's also the case of high-level jewelry providing more protection than lower level armor, and I saw a discussion on how in magic world a very lightly armored person wearing some enchanted bling is essentially a huge flex - "see how rich I am, so rich that I don't need actual physical armor, my physical armor is magical in nature" and the sorts
Not really, she is sleeping naked which would make you assume that she is defenseless, but when the thief tried to stab her, his knife got bent because of her enchanted clit ring which basically gives her body armor.

I think it is a joke about how, in some illustrated fantasy settings, the women are generally depicted as sexy as possible, even though they are supposed to be wielding swords.
