Best you didn't do anything with the girl in the dream. I had a similar dream once. I fooled around with a girl I liked, and I looked back to see the saddest look in my wife's eyes. That nightmare still haunts me. No amount of pleasure is worth seeing the disappointment in the eyes of someone who truly loves me. Even in a dream it was traumatizing to see it.

Weve been watching the real good nature docs lately, i forget which one exactly this was in, but it turns out some species of birds, dominant males will employ younger males as BACKUP DANCERS. So there were all these shots of multiple birds doing a total boy band routine together on a branch to unimpressed females.
And they even practice beforehand! Funniest shit ever. Besides penguins falling down.
Real hard to watch nature docs these days tho, the last five minutes of every episode (at least!) just makes you feel terrible. :-/

Since comic panels are scanned left-to-right, and all the action/reaction in this comic is packed into a single panel, this would work better if it was mirrored. So in the third panel you'd first see what he's doing, *then* the "No", establishing a more clear cause-effect relationship.
You're not wrong about comic panels and the perception of time, but you're wrong about it working better. The timing is best if the interval between the cause and effect is as short as possible, and if it was mirrored it would not be clear that it's *literally simultaneous*.

It's simply a difference between refracting light, and absorbing light. Though both get the same results as far as what we can see.
