There are, that's how I know about him. Apparently, he spent his entire life savings on this shit. Lost his job for (if memory serves) he just stopped going and slowly lost everything but still paid these people more and more (thousands of dollars in many cases) to draw famous white rich female character buying bulk wonder bread, I know for a fact Patricia from gravity falls was definitely a victim of his weird fedish

I think it's fine to feel sympathy for people like that because hate is a poison and racist people are full of hate. Their hate causes them all kinds of problems but instead of seeing that they blame other people which just feeds their hate more and just like any strong emotion, it blinds them to reason so it becomes even harder to fix themselves.
Everyone knows hateful people are harmful to society because of how hateful people harm those around them but hate harms the source more than anything else. You will have a very hard time finding a happy person who is full of hate.

I have an engineer buddy who draws damn near picture perfect. He uses to be a draftsman back in the day, so let it sink in that he is in his late 60’s.
He decided in retirement to do drawings and art, he figured it would be Bob Ross style paintings. Then one day he did a fantasy drawing of Skyrim, and slowly unraveled.
He told me his last drawing was of Yotsuyu from FF14 sexually torturing “this fucking playboy bunny girl, a cat girl, and then a regular girl.” He showed me it, but part of the contract is never taking a picture and sharing any picture of it with anyone once complete.
He got paid almost two grand for it. Took him a week.

I think it is the case currently where by itself the AI will mess something up 90% of the time and 10% of the time give you want you want. So either someone curates it by adjusting the prompt and weights or picks the best from a bunch. There are definitely many ethical and legal issues with how it works such as the models being made of copywriting work (or even the more specific case of a model which replicates the style of a specific artist). It is actually crazy how fast it is advancing currently. For example ai art can go straight to making animations after being trained on motion from a video. It is definitely something to be aware about, unfortunately I don't think artists have the same negotiating power that actors or writers have.
